i don't like what the article says. it puts ksw on a bad light. i hope they get to talk and end everything peacefully. it's not good to be on anyone's bad side.

i hope he made the right choice by dropping the movie and going with the drama instead.

moi will reserve comment till d drama's plot n ending r known! B)

Kwon Sang-woo drops film, pisses off production

Newly wedded Kwon Sang-woo (Fate, Bad Love) has dropped out at the last minute of what would have been his next film project, My Love By My Side, and criticism is building.

Apparently Kwon had made every commitment to appear in the project save for putting his seal on the contract (which often doesn’t happen until the last minute).The film, which was set to begin filming next month, now struggles in the wake of this unforeseen hurdle. The production company said that they received word suddenly over the weekend, after the terms of the contract, fees, and other details had been worked out: “He didn’t even explain his reasons for quitting. We’re all bewildered.”

Kwon Sang-woo was to have played a sufferer of Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a degenerative illness), and had been cast opposite Ha Ji-won, who is still cast in the film. He held a fanmeeting in Japan just yesterday, on the 25th, where he announced, “Contrary to reports, my next project will be a drama series.”

The production is currently looking for a new lead actor.

there's news released today stating that sangwoo has quit the role for the upcoming movie"My Love By My Side 내사랑 내곁에" which also starred Ha Jiwon.

Producer of the film said that the film will start soon and they are searching for a male lead to replace Sangwoo.

Till date there's no comment from Sangwoo's management yet.

News also said that the movie production team is getting shock by this cancelation..

I thought it is because of their unfixed and unclear production schedule.. They keep saying that lacking of investment while our man is so generous not to receive his paid but just the export percentage. They cant find any big star who is so good too do it. However there was no response from them.. I think, Its must be the reason KSW quit!

Of course, such a big star like KSW, once they didnt response to his good and generous ideas, he should quit it... <_<

Many big projects are waiting for him... no need to waste time on this.. :rolleyes:

Sangwoo said in the FM, he just bought a piano ... (no prize to guess who will play it :sweatingbullets: )

He aborted the movie role and started a drama this year and another one next year (agoo, if i read it correctly, mean he got double roles)

In the end of the event, he took bow to all his fans to thank you and said goodbye. Everyone stood up and took bow too ..

So touching, he tried to hide the tears, most of the fans cried too! :sweatingbullets:

And the bodyguards had a hard time assisting him & directing him towards the resto because many fans were waiting for him from the car. And he's so nice & sweet to find time to look out from the restaurant window just to wave to all his fans. Gosh, his get-up was so stylsh.........so adorable this man! Speaking about his cancelation, there were many cancelation in showbiz but nobody made it big.... Only our man's case, not surprised! cause its about Kwon Sang Woo whose relating news are very hot recently... :phew:

i totally agreed....frankly i'm quite happy that he quit tho. :)

azura, these photos............. he's just so HOT! I love his get-up. He's a bit slim now because you could see it in his face but that smiles............ it's still captivating! About the movie, you said so & TY - I'm also for him that he didn't push-thru doing it. That movie seems to have some fund problem that even the shoot hasn't started yet how much more if he's already there doing the filming? <_<:)

After many unilateral claiming reports today, finally here goes another side report... Fantoment on behalf of Kwon Sang Woo.

Film Production company issued an unilateral absurd announcement.

Kwon Sang-woo's agent, FANTOM Entertainment company today responded to some unilateral news regarding Kwon Sang Woo's cancelation on the movie, has informed that, "Kwon Sang-woo has contributed himself for this movie since before his wedding taken place. He is training to loss weight of more than 10kilos to meet the request of the role. He also studied and practise for his character and always well prepared for shooting." He added "The fact is that because the film industry is in recession, lacking of fiscal investment. There are many request from investor to contribute but the film production company always escapes or no response." "It is prudent to verify the investigation, and after a careful consideration, today (October 27) we and film production company will have meeting to come to agreement however the final decision has not yet made. What are spreading by media that Kwon Sang Woo canceled performances is unacceptable."

Fantom Entertainment Company also refuted the information from the film production company that Kwon Sang-woo and his company deliberately broke ties. "In order to present in a Fanmeet on October 205 Kwon Sang Woo left for Japan on October 24. Before the departure he had a meeting with film production company and both side come to some agreement. However today film production company tried to ignore that agreement, to make one-sided report groundless speculation."

so tell me why Kwon Sang Woo isn't wearing a wedding ring???? hummmm???

Tried yourself loss weight from 4-5 kgs then what happened to your fingers?

Not to mention nobody re-size his/her wed ring.. :rolleyes:
