Actor Kwon Sang Woo is furious at the spreading of malicious rumours that he and his wife Son Tae-Young are getting a divorce. The celebrity couple who tied the knot in September 2008 has been plagued by these rumours since mid-2009.

Kwon and his family (they have a son) have since been continuously plagued by rumours via the Internet. The couple has since asked police to probe into this matter and Kwon has declared war on those who spread these malicious rumours about him and his family.

Kwon Sang Woo declares war on rumour mongers

Kwon Sang Woo: If one more person says i got my

Actor Kwon Sang Woo is furious at the spreading of malicious rumours that he and his wife Son Tae-Young are getting a divorce. The celebrity couple who tied the knot in September 2008 has been plagued by these rumours since mid-2009.

Kwon and his family (they have a son) have since been continuously plagued by rumours via the Internet. The couple has since asked police to probe into this matter and Kwon has declared war on those who spread these malicious rumours about him and his family.

Sangwoo did not yet spread the case out because of that ^%^#^ girl's future (darn, he was so thoughtful about her future while she never think of... ). However, this girl did on purpose, then never stop bothering him...

Thats why our brave hero needs to declare a war to that stupid student (i thought its time for news and police to declare that girl's profile and photos ... Tsk tsk, she will surely know how is "2012" to her before that year comes.... muahhahah)

Hi ghada, thanks for posting these photos of his Japan store. So happy for KSW that in just a span of time his cosmetics business expanded so fast. I hope there will be one here in my side soon, if not in the future. The atmosphere inside is so cozy. My man has been business-minded since he's a family man now. Kwon Sang-woo asked to appear in "Iris" sequel

Hallyu star Kwon Sang-woo has been asked to be part of the cast of a second season of blockbuster TV series "Iris", the actor revealed on a talk show last week.

"I have been asked to appear in season 2 of 'Iris' by its producer Taewon Entertainment which is also the same company producing my film 'Into the Fire'," Kwon said on KBS morning talkshow "Morning Live" on Friday.

"I will make up my mind after looking at the script upon receiving an official proposal," the 37-year-old actor added.

"Iris", currently the second most popular TV program with its ratings surpassing 36 percent last week and continuously on the rise, stars some of South Korea's top actors including Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee and Jung Jun-ho.

Taewon recently announced they will air a second season of the spy drama which is set to go into shoot around May next year.

Kwon's new war pic "Fire", a fierce battle between 71 student soldiers and North Korean regular army soldiers during the Korean War, started filming in late November and is set for release in 2010.

Kwon has starred in several successful movies including "My Tutor Friend" in 2003 and "Love, So Divine" in 2004. His most famous role to date however, was in the 2003 TV series "Stairway to Heaven", which co-starred another Hallyu star Choi Ji-woo and became a hit throughout Asia.

AHH!! Even though I haven't seen the Kdrama, 'Iris', yet, I really hope that Kwon Sang Woo appears in the sequel! Why not?! If anyone can live up after Lee Byung Hun, it's Kwon Sang Woo and as the his lead actress, I really wish it's with Son Ye Jin. I've been wishing to see these two work together and if not in 'Iris', I hope it's in another project together.

Finecut takes sales rights to John H Lee's $10m Korean war epic

Seoul-based sales company Finecut has picked up John H. Lee's $10m upcoming Korean War movie, currently called 71 – Into The Fire.

The film, which is being produced by Taewon Entertainment, tells the true story of 71 student soldiers who fought an impossible battle against the seasoned North Korean army during the Korean war. It shows the fierce battle against the emotions of the young soldiers as they fought to protect their final line of defence.

Korean Wave star Kwon Sang-woo is joined by Choi Seung-hyun, a.k.a. T.O.P. from the pan-Asian boyband Big Bang, who recently made his acting debut in Iris. Cha Seung-won plays a charismatic North Korean major and Kim Seung-woo plays a South Korean captain trying to save the students.

The production crew includes the special effects team that previously worked on John Woo's Red Cliff, Feng Xiaogang's Assembly, and Taegukgi: The Brotherhood Of War.

The film started shooting last December and major local distributor Lotte Entertainment is set to release the film in Korea last this summer. FineCut will be screening the promo reel for the film in Berlin's European Film Market.

Lee's A Moment To Remember racked up more than 3 million admissions in Korea and is the biggest grossing Korean film in Japan, where it took over $33m.

Hot Actors Do High Fashion

Okay, so… not so much high fashion as fashion magazines. Actors Im Ju Hwan, Jang Hyuk, and Kwon Sang Woo, although not avant-garde-ly dressed, do still manage to look mighty fine in the February issues of Arena, Harper’s Bazaar, and Allure Korea, respectively.

Hi TY, I couldn't agree with you more - any kind of hairstyle looks fine with him except that curly one in CM - hehehe - it's not that he looked bad it's just that it's the least that I prefer for him. This short crew-cut hair really makes him boyish-looking.

Finecut takes sales rights to John H Lee's $10m Korean war epic

Seoul-based sales company Finecut has picked up John H. Lee's $10m upcoming Korean War movie, currently called 71 – Into The Fire.

The film, which is being produced by Taewon Entertainment, tells the true story of 71 student soldiers who fought an impossible battle against the seasoned North Korean army during the Korean war. It shows the fierce battle against the emotions of the young soldiers as they fought to protect their final line of defence.

Korean Wave star Kwon Sang-woo is joined by Choi Seung-hyun, a.k.a. T.O.P. from the pan-Asian boyband Big Bang, who recently made his acting debut in Iris. Cha Seung-won plays a charismatic North Korean major and Kim Seung-woo plays a South Korean captain trying to save the students.

The production crew includes the special effects team that previously worked on John Woo's Red Cliff, Feng Xiaogang's Assembly, and Taegukgi: The Brotherhood Of War.

The film started shooting last December and major local distributor Lotte Entertainment is set to release the film in Korea last this summer. FineCut will be screening the promo reel for the film in Berlin's European Film Market.

Lee's A Moment To Remember racked up more than 3 million admissions in Korea and is the biggest grossing Korean film in Japan, where it took over $33m.

Sangwoo shouldn't do a war or violent film ...... its totally unsuited to his lovers persona ....... STY must have goaded him to do this ....... Sangwoo should stick to his forte which is to do a romance film or drama with a demure newbie at d ending!
