@adamfever Yes, I read @meridian's accounts when she met LMH at the airport and at the Kyochon event.  Thanks @meridian for sharing your story.  It's always very heartwarming to read first-hand accounts of uri Minho's constant and earnest efforts to acknowledge his fans' support.  And to think, he's no stranger to these things coz he's been at this crest for over 5 years now.....yet he can put to shame newer (and less famous) celebrities with his humility and graciousness.  If he holds a premier of GB here, I'm not sure if I can resist not camping overnight if that's what it would take to meet him up close and personal. (hubby better not stop me or he'll lose, for sure) )
Speaking of GB, there's an interesting article that came up in TENASIA (K-NEWS) today.
It says that "the 2nd half of the year shall bloom" (reference to young gominams)And the #1 most anticipated film is GANGNAM BLUES =D>
The subhead reads, "LEE MIN HO - HIDDEN GEMSTONE OF CHUNGMURO" (I googled Chungmuro and since the 1960s it's known as the street of culture, artists and film industry of SK.  I think it's safe to say that it's their equivalent of Hollywood.  Although many film companies have since moved to Gangnam, Chungmuro remains to be the symbol of Korean film industry. )I think the article basically heralds GB as a most-awaited film due to its being LMH's debut in a leading role.  Although he appeared in films before, his presence was not considered significant then.  After he became very popular with BOF, he was besieged with love calls from Chungmuro (or film industry). Article says that LMH "did not hurry" and opted to wait for the right film vehicle.  Which is Yu Ha's "GB".  Now judgment awaits whether this is indeed the right vehicle for LMH to solidify his name in Chungmuro.

2014 RE:MINHO debut in China will start with Beijing. The tickets are opened for sale today (9.17) however 2 of the categories were already fully sold out during pre-sale, and there are many fans who have registered online and still on waitlist.
LMH represents the leading Hallyu wave, having acted in BOF, CH & Heirs, he has massive following in China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan. He was the first Korean artiste to perform in the China's "Spring Festival" program during 2014 Chinese New Year.
When the news of RE:MINHO was first announced, it immediately caught the attention of all his fans; currently 2 ticket categories are sold out during the pre-sale phase even before they are opened to the public. To see their oppa, many overseas fans are also expected to travel to China for the event. To reciprocate the support from his fans, MH is focusing on pre-concert preparation, working hard on his Mandarin skill in order to interact closely with his fans, breaking down all barriers.  (Waahh, how much closer would he go, and what barriers left to break down?
