[NEWS] (18-June-2013) Gong Yoo will cameo in Dating Agency: Cyrano

Actor Gong Yoo will make a guest appearance in ep.9 of tvN drama series DATING AGENCY: CYRANO.   Filming for his scenes in ep.9 took place last week in Korea. Ep.9 airs on Monday, June 24, 2013.

In addition, actress Jung Yu-Mi (who starred in the film "Silenced" with actor Gong Yoo) makes a guest appearance in tonight's ep.8 of DATING AGENCY: CYRANO.

In ep.8, Jung Yu-Mi will play Bong Soo-A who has lacks confidence and believes her life is full of bad luck. She also has androphobia and can't make eye contact with men. Bong Soo-A becomes Cyrano Agency's 4th client.



P/S: The preview for Episode 9 will probably be made available at the end of tonight's episode.. So it may be possible to get a glimpse of Monster.  ^^

Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi to Appear on ‘Dating Agency Cyrano’

Reuniting two years following The Crucible (Dogani), Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi will appear as special cameos in tvN’s Dating Agency Cyrano.

On June 18, tvN revealed that Gong Yoo will be appearing in the drama by releasing an image from the filming that took place at a theme park.



Gong Yoo will be the targeted man of Jung Yu Mi, the fourth customer of Dating Agency Cyrano.

“With his sweet voice and his beautiful smile that stirs the hearts of women, Gong Yoo will upgrade the sweet romance on Dating Agency Cyrano,” said the drama staff. “His appearance will be short but strong.”

Jung Yu Mi, on the other hand, will play Bong Soo Ah, a gloomy character with the nickname, ‘Ghost Girl.’ With her fear of men, she’s unable to stare a man in the eye, but she still ends up falling for Gong Yoo and needing the help of the Dating Agency Cyrano.

Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi will appear on June 24’s broadcast of Episode 9.

[18-June-2013] Gong Yoo Is The Next Romantic Target On “Dating Agency: Cyrano”

If you want a date with "Coffee Prince" actor Gong Yoo, you may want to ask the experts at "Dating Agency: Cyrano" for some help. That's what actress Jung Yu Mi is going to do in an upcoming episode.

Jung and Gong, who appeared together in the controversial 2011 film, "The Silenced," will make a cameo appearance on the comedy about a dating agency that helps the romantically challenged.

Jung Yu Mi will play Bong Soo Ah, a shy girl who has a hard time looking directly at men. Her has been nicknamed the "ghost girl" because of her inability to connect. Since she is so shy that she cannot look at men, she cannot approach her secret love, Gong Yoo.  So, she becomes the dating agency's fourth customer and asks them to find a way to make Gong Yoo notice her. They take on her case.

The dating agency specializes in creating scenarios that help people notice each other and fall in love. In past episodes, they have made dull people pretend to be spies, arranged scenes in which people had to make a frantic escape together and hired actors to pretend to be thugs. They will do whatever it takes to bring the people in question closer. The dating agency staff has plenty of experience at pretend scenarios since some of them are really actors associated with a theater company.

"Dating Agency: Cyrano" stars Lee Jong Hyuk, Choi Soo Young of Girls Generation and Lee Chun Hee as the agency's staff. So far, the show's cameo appearances have included Ji Jin Hee, Lee Chung Ah, Choi Won Young, Im Hyung Joon, Lee Yoon Ji, Lee Taemin of SHINee, Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae. As there are more episodes to come, more surprise cameo appearances are expected.

The show's production team explains that Gong Yoo's cameo will be short but sweet and will supply one of the show's most romantic episodes.

"With his sweet voice and that beautiful smile that always makes women's hearts flutter, he will upgrade the sweet romance on Dating Agency: Cyrano," said a representative of the production company. The actor, also known for his dual roles in "Big" and the actress, who appears in "Wonderful mama" and appeared as a secretary in "RooftopPrince" will be seen in the show's ninth episode.

[19-June-2013] Gong Yoo to Make Cameo Appearance in “Dating Agency: Cyrano”

Actor Gong Yoo plans to make a cameo appearance in the new tvN drama series, “Dating Agency: Cyrano” as actress Jung Yoo Mi‘s love interest.

On June 18, Gong Yoo’s agency Soop Management announced that the actor will be making a special appearance in the drama series.

According to the agency’s representatives who spoke with Star News, “Gong Yoo will be making a special appearance to support his fellow label mate actor Lee Chun Hee. We filmed a short scene at the amusement park. Although he doesn’t make a lengthy appearance, we hope viewers will enjoy it nevertheless.”

Gong Yoo’s scene will air on June 24 for the 9th episode of “Dating Agency: Cyrano.” He will be assuming the role of Jung Yoo Mi’s target love interest. Jung Yoo Mi and Gong Yoo shared on-screen chemistry before in their previous film, “The Crucible,” so fans are especially looking forward to seeing sparks fly between the two actors once more.

[20-June-2013] Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi to Play cameos in “Dating Agency: Cyrano”

Korean actor Gong Yoo and actress Jung Yu-mi will make cameo appearances in drama “Dating Agency: Cyrano.”

The two recorded their episode where Jung plays the fourth client of a dating agency as a woman who admires Gong Yoo in the tvN series that shows on Mondays and Tuesdays, CJ E&M told TenAsia on Thursday.

In the show, Jung admires Gong, but she also has androphobia and can’t event look him in the eyes, so the Cyrano members get her a makeover.

The episode with Jung and Gong will go on air next week.

The show itself is a romantic comedy based on Korean film “Cyrano Agency” in 2010, about a dating agency that orchestrates romantic scenarios for clients.

Gong Yoo drew popularity with MBC drama “Coffee Prince” in 2007 and KBS2 drama “Big” in 2012, and Jung Yu-mi drew popularity with “The Queen of Office.”

This was their second time acting together after film “Silenced” which was released in 2011.

[24-June-2013] Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi Try to Lock Eyes in Making of ‘Dating Agency Cyrano’

Unable to wait for Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi’s cameo appearances, tvN has unveiled the making of Dating Agency Cyrano even before the episode aired.

The BTS footage was revealed on June 21, showing Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi working with the cast of Dating Agency Cyrano. Both actors were very honored to be part of the drama and said it was a fun filming despite the hot weather.

In the drama, Jung Yu Mi appears in front of the agency to help get Gong Yoo′s attention -- despite her fear of men.

The episode will air on June 24.
