"to return" is a transitive verb. there for it must return so someone, somewhere, or to a concept (such as time), or it can return something.

love will not return your library books?

love will not return you to the past.

love will not return to you. (your love for someone may not be returned.)

love will not return when you give it away.

sorry but can u explain more what that means in english.

I think return the person is trying to say is 'to come back' so love will never come back. And it's pretty implied (i think) the 'to you part'. So basically it means that love will never come back [to you]. I don't know how to explain it so that it make sense to other people. xD
