*** "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938", was recently pre-screened in Thailand, the Philippines, and South Korea, ahead of its official premiere. The successful pre-screening events highlighted the partnership collaboration between CJ ENM and Prime Video and signaled a commitment to the continued global marketing efforts of the two giants. Tthe events taking place in prestigious locations such as "The House on Sathorn" in Thailand and "Salon de Ning at The Peninsula Manila" in the Philippines on May 5th. The pre-screening events included videos of the cast, including "Shout-Outs" to event attendees, "Ask Us Everything", and the first episode of the series, as well as various activities such as a "360 Photo Shoot" and a "Lucky Draw Event" that awarded attendees with signed posters of the actors. Prior to the events held in two regions, the event was also held locally at Seoul, hosted by CJ ENM, where fans were invited to the screening, and even got to meet the actors and the director of the series on May 3rd. The drama is airing on channel tvN and OTT TVING in South Korea and exclusively on Prime Video outside of Korea.

During a series of questions, he was asked whether the actual Lee Dong Wook or 'Lee Yeon' in the drama he would like for his younger sister to date. He shook his head with his eyes tightly shut when he heard the question. He LOL and said, "What if I hate them both?", I hate them both. I, of course, love him so much, but introducing my sister to date one of them is a whole other thing, I think. If I had to…", as he dived into a deep pause. “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938” is a sequel to the hit 2020 drama “Tale of the Nine-Tailed,” which told the story of the male gumiho (mythical nine-tailed fox) Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) in the present day. However, in the new sequel, he unexpectedly finds himself back in 1938, and he embarks on an eventful adventure in his quest to return to the present.

In the upcoming broadcast, Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo) get caught in a test designed by Jang San Beom, a powerful ghost. Due to this ghost, the secret between Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young also gets revealed.

 

The new stills show Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young unexpectedly trapped in the world of “Rustic Period,” a 2002 SBS drama that starred Ahn Jae Mo as Kim Doo Han, a former mob leader turned politician. Beside them stands a mysterious number that that counts down exactly one hour.

 

 

Greeting the two, who look bewildered by the unfamiliar environment, is the charismatic Kim Doo Han. In order to return to the real world, the duo must fight Kim Doo Han and his minions then find their friend Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon) within the hour.

 

Between the mysterious countdown and being caught in Jang San Beom’s trap, viewers are curious to find out whether Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young can defeat Kim Doo Han’s group and find Ryu Hong Joo in time.

The three succeeded in taking down Jang San Beom, but Cheon Moo Young revealed that he was the one who invited Jang San Beom in the first place, warning Yi Yeon that he will be unable to return to present day.
