Deng Wei :  "Lost You Forever S.2" - Why He Was Suppressed

 

I found this piece of vital information.  And I post it here for everyone to know.  Fans knew about these facts.  And were worried that Deng Wei might be suppressed.  And S.2 proved them Right!

Since S1, many have been misled to attack DW and his character. I now leave you with evidence of LYF production involvement in his smear campaigns.  

Why Was Deng Wei Suppressed In "Lost You Forever"

 

About the bullying and favoritism issue on the 2nd season of LostYouForever

1. Reportedly, the Chairman of Youhug media is a board member and shareholder of Tencent and one who had the largest investment in LYF.

2. Tan Jianci and Dai Luwa both belong to Youhug Media.

3. Their agency being the producer, is also in charge of the editing.

4. Hence, Fanwar broke out when CGI effects  for  Deng Wei were too low.

 

a. Xiao Yao's wedding with Feng Long dubbed as the grandest in a hundred years was presented blandly. Even her marriage with Jing (that solo wedding), looked dull.  In the novel the wedding was set. Both Jing and Xiao Yao had it scheduled.  But in the drama, the wedding immediately was held when Jing was gone. Making some viewers jokingly jump to think that Xiao Yao was after of Tushan Jing's wealth and money. LMAO 

 

b. Compare it with Anian's wedding. It was grander and full of special effects. Dai Luwa received a lot of hate because of this and last night with her livestream, many left comments about the two Phoenixes cgi added to her wedding.  She responded "Why, Can't I have two birds?"

Her response gained varying reactions. Some okayed it.  Others mock her for not choosing the right words to address the issue.

 

c. Xiang Liu's special effects during her battlefield scene was so full.  His nine heads were clearly shown. But with Jing's death scene, his Nine Tailed Fox wasn't even mentioned lol.  In the novel, all his tails were cruelly cut  by Tushan Hou.  In the drama, Jing was down in one blow.  

Deng Wei filmed that fighting scene with Tushan Hou for 3 long days. He even fainted because of high heat.  But what did they do? That fighting scene was showed in less than a minute with slapstick effect! 

 

4. Favoritism and added scenes that were not originally in the novel.

-Before Xiao Yao's wedding with Fenglong happened, she was at the sea side wearing a red dress (a wedding dress).  Waiting for someone. Waiting for fate to decide for her.

-However, controversy arise when Xiang Liu flashed by wearing red (as if he's the groom ready to take Xiao Yao away.  Leading people think Xiao Yao was waiting for Xiang Liu).

-With this controversy, during one of Tan Jianci's livestream, a comment popped up asking him why he was wearing red that time.  He just shrug it off by saying

"I just wore it, what's wrong".  Then goes on to laugh loudly. His response once again made it to headlines. It received mixed reactions from different fandoms.

 

During her recent livestream,. Yang Zi explained...

"Many people asked me what I was waiting for when I wore that red dress and waited on the beach for seven days. I think I was waiting for fate. She was waiting for  fate to push her.  But she didn't wait for it.  Which is also a kind of fate."

At that sea side, Xiao Yao isn't really waiting for someone.  As that person in her heart would never come. She just accepted her fate. But Tan Jian Ci/ Xiang Liu's fans just can't understand it and try to keep on twisting things.

 

- That scene of Xiao Yao meeting her parents on episode 16.

In the novel, there was only Tushan Jing.

o He was the one who went to great lengths so that Xiao Yao can finally untie the knot in her heart.

o He was the only one who accompanied Xiao Yao and Haoling Emperor.

o He was there bowing to Xiao Yao's parents.

There was no Cang Xuan, more so Xiang Liu. But then again, the production team changed it. Everyone was there. 

o But only Jing didn't kow tow to her parents.

o What's more disturbing is the fact that Jing was made as a backboard. His image was even covered with some lyrics/words on the screen lmao.

 

5. Several scenes of YaoJing have been cut.  The proposal was not even properly filmed.  Their love for each other was less felt compared to season 1.

Many of Jing's scenes have been replaced and went to other male leads. As the 2nd male lead, his screentime and lines were severely reduced. He was brilliant in the book.  But in the drama they made him looked weak which made a lot of book fans tired of arguing and getting angry with Deng Wei.

 

6. In the novel, Tushan Jing was already the least favored Male Lead. Even among the novel fans, Xiang Liu was quite popular.

 

So no one really expected that Deng Wei's Ye Shiqi/Tushan Jing will be so well liked and positively received, making him the most popular male character in the show in season 1.

- Deng Wei with no male lead drama.

- Deng Wei who didn't have any popular drama under his belt, was able to rival and even surpass Tan Jianci's traffic in season 1.

 

Tan Jian Ci, the platform's favored actor, the producer's bet character, all were defeated by an unknown actor that time named Deng Wei.

 

Because of this, rumor has it that producers want to cut of his scenes, and that's what happened in S2. And that's why many have ran away or dropped the drama.  Questioning that it doesn't have the same feels as season 1. The show even find it hard to break 30,000 in S2.

But when YaoJing reconciled they finally achieved it. They achieved it again with Jing's apparent death and how viewers emphatize with Yang Zi's great performance as someone who just lost her most beloved man.

 

Season 2 failed to achieve the same result as in season 1. It's still really popular.  But not as well received last year. As they say, everything will turn around when it reaches its extreme. I have followed the drama for 2 years. I am hanging on so that I too can have a closure. I'm still hoping for an acceptable ending for each and everyone. I loved the novel.  And never hated any characters. I just wished they have followed it closely even though they have to favor their own artists.

 

P.S have you seen the previews? There's a lot of twist and I don't know how it's going to end anymore

 

Non-Stop "Liking" & "Bumping-Up"  Black Posts  For Deng Wei.  Until this Staff below gave up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the preview, it seems like they are trying to whitewash Cang Xuan and point all the blame of killing Jing to Xinyue . Gege can have power, wealth, and women, but his hands should not be stained with blood.

Fans have even counted the number of petals used in this scene, versus the number of petals floated during Anian's wedding. They even joked that the price per petal must've cost them so much that they can't add anymore to Yang Zi's 

 

Haven't you noticed? In almost all of Xiang Liu scenes with Xiao Yao, there's a background music playing making their moments feel more romantic than that of the official match YaoJing . Favoritism at its finest

 

@leo2020  Now I understand why TJC issued Deng Wei's Fans with a "Lawyer's Warning Letter".    I have never like TJC and Xiang Liu even before I know about all these.  Seems like my "Instinct" is correct.

 

And Deng Wei cannot afford to offend both Youhug Media and Tencents.  He just has to be "Tolerant".  That is why 💎's who know about this, supported Deng Wei very faithfully.  

 

Deng Wei's struggles to be A Successful Actor is still Far From Over.  Please Support him.

My guess is they decided to invest everything in LYF. Partly to compensate losses, bcs I can't imagine how much they lost with Winner is King being shelved.

Thus going to such extremes. 

 But while trying so hard they damaged the whole S2 badly. And, as you mentioned,

Deng Wei :  And SkinCeuticals - the Contract Expires..

 

I really want to thank SkinCeuticals. Their contract with Deng Wei expired a few days ago. But they still gave him a final giant show of their love 🥹🥰 Countless times they’ve silently shown support for Deng Wei.   Even in hard times. They were the first to sign him up.  Paving the way for other brands to use Deng Wei as well.

 

SkinCeuticals' endorsement programs are usually for 6 Months only.  But with Deng Wei, it was 1 Whole Year.

Actually TJC had not officially sued Deng Wei's fans. It was more like a warning letter, not official submission of a lawsuit. 

And yes on suppression of Tushan Jing on LYF S2! They removed so much of TSJ's meaningful scenes and redistributed his scenes and lines to other characters. But nobody can stop Deng wei's TSJ from shining brightly! 

On weibo's summer drama chart for discussion volume, Tushan Jing won out the number 2 spot of Xiangliu by nearly double of his total! 1.5亿 vs 7414万! After spending all that money and effort, I guess thats why some people can't 'stay still' and are shaking in rage... We have to protect our Deng wei!

I just google Youhug (Yaoke).  Seems like Zhang Wan Yi's last drama - "Are You The One" is also related to Youhug.  Interesting !

Deng Wei wore a black suit with embroidery and diamonds. The embroidery pattern was white and matched with the black suit. Creating a unique visual effect.  He looked very fashionable, trendy and playful. A bit of the "Playboy Look".  What do you all think? You could notice him at a glance. He was so handsome!

 

The motifs remind me of bandana, but the motifs have the characteristics of spring, birds, flora & ferns. To me, he was artfully arranged to look stylishly mix of both formal and casual. Very good for a fashion show... Well done Deng Wei !

1)  Bad camera angles and lightings at times affect the final result.

2) He looks better in real person. Definitely.  He is not that Photogenic.

3) This "Style" actually looks better in Person than on print.  It's a Fact.

4) I read that some "Anti's" purposely circulate his Photos which were "Doctored to look uglier".

5) I would prefer him with a Different Hairstyle and Fashion.  But overall he looks alright. This "Look" leans more towards the European Taste.

I like Deng Wei dressed in casual clothes, the most. He looks extra cute wearing a cap, extra sexy wearing earrings, and extra trendy accessorizing his hands with bangles or bracelets.

Paris was the home of Dior this night! The stars were all dressed up to show their best! The most eye-catching thing was Deng Wei and Nam Joo Hyuk watching the show together. The two handsome guys were a feast for the eyes of netizens.

 

The "Handsome Chinese Man", Deng Wei has smooth facial lines.   The new Chinese-Style embroidered suit adds a touch of elegance to him.  Making him more oriental in charm.   In my opinions, his Chinese Beauty instantly outshines the round-faced Nam Joo Hyuk.  What do you all think?

 

 

Both of them look good. Both have their own charms. 

Nam Soo Hyuk bulked up, looking more manly than pre-military, but still as handsome as ever. 

 

My wish that Deng Wei and Lee Soo Hyuk to meet in Paris, and take a photo together, went down the drain. It seems Lee Soo Hyuk didn't attend any event in Paris.

Milk-Teas, Chocolate Cakes and Chocolates.  All the Best Quality.  With Deng Wei around, 💎's will never be Hungry.  He always take good care of them. 

 

*  When it rains, he will buy them "Rain-Coats".

*  He calls them "The Young Ladies From My Family", in his private conversations with others.

Deng Wei :  From 19 September 2024 Till Now

 

I have been running to keep up with Deng Wei since he flew to Paris. 🤣🤣🤣.   But busy is good.  It means he has work to do.  I am Happy for him.

 

It hurts to see him being "Bullied" like that.  If One Bigwig can behave like that, I am sure there will be many others like him.  People like Yu Zheng for example.  Add in his Competitors, their Fans and Society's Prejudices, it is quite a Heavy Burden for him to bear alone.  No wonder in this issue of Madame Figaro, he says:

 

“He has gradually refined his philosophy of life to a state of clarity. Without realising it, Deng Wei has created a kind of "realm" for himself: Even though heavy rain pours down.  In front of him, it is just a trickle."

@chicha  Yes. I have read about these figures.  And was happy for Deng Wei.  But did not post them.  I just run or glance through them, to have a rough idea of where our "Baby" stands.  😊  Thanks for the pictures and info.
