So far, Deng Wei is the only actor that can make me cry. The truth, it is very hard for me to cry, perhaps I have anhedonia. Oopps ! The first time I was touched by Jing was when he was on top of a mountain, talking to himself, not able to throw away his ‘Tushan’ name. That was when I realized Jing’s story line is different from dramas/movies that I’ve watched. To go against his grandmother’s wishes, pleading her to understand him. When Jing told Xiao Yao “I cannot make grandmother to cancel the engagement but she cannot force me to marry either.” Although it is not a sad scene, Jing sounded so true that I couldn’t stop my tears. It was not like me at all… I read the book after watching LYF S1. I understand Tushan Jing in the Book vs Drama better. Saying that, I agree with ‘Shallow Book Of The Past’, Deng Wei as Tushan Jing is on point ! Until today, whenever I miss Jing, I repeat LYF, fast forward to Jing or Xiao Yao scenes. I still smile and cry at their scenes. Guess what? I lost count of how many times I re-watch. Mmm… Guilty as charged, I miss Jing quiet often.

A.W.E.S.O.M.E. !! 😍 I saw a BTS clip Ran Ran (Julia Xiang) died. While the makeup artist was re-touching Deng Wei’s makeup for the next scene, he slowly got into his character. When he was demonstrating his sorrowful acts, Julia who was looking sadly at him. For the real scene filming, the BTS was taken from far, but it was clear that Deng Wei was in tears while cradling Ran Ran on his lap. Then “Cut! “. But, Deng Wei kept crying, he looked up as if trying to stop his tears. Julia Xiang slowly rose up. Deng Wei was still sobbing, spontaneously hugged her. She hugged him back, and he patted her softly, as if that is the way for him to calm down. Then, she wiped his tears away. After that, he looked down, still trying to calm down. What I see is, genuine sadness, as if Deng Wei seemed to be going through a real struggle. Frankly, I hope I am wrong … And the truth is he was just ‘deeply immersed’ into his character. Ohya! I also see good chemistry between the main leads. What I truly wish for “Love Of The Divine Tree is, Deng Wei to be treated fairly, free from favor toward either or any side. Since his debut, Deng Wei has given his all to his acting, has shown good manners and followed all the appropriate rules of etiquette, hence he should be treated respectfully as an actor. To me, Deng Wei is an "Eye candy", always FOXY. 😎 Last week, there was a product launch for a Chinese cosmetic brand, Perfect Diary. The Brand Ambassador, Michieda Shunsuke, is my favorite Japanese idol/actor. I just realized that he looks similar to Deng Wei, perhaps Deng Wei in his younger days. His height is 180cm, shorter by 3 cm but perhaps still growing, he is 23 years old ( I heard guys stop growing at 25… ). Mmm… Now, I think I know a little bit more about myself. Hehehe... By the way, I hope one day, Perfect Diary will welcome Deng Wei too. Deng Wei's unique oriental looks, is just perfect for a China's own cosmetics brand, right?

Ballet dancers express their roles, not only in their movements but in their face expressions as well. Indirectly, he has been doing ‘expressions’, conveying all his ‘emotions’ to his ‘ballet’ for many years. For Drama, he needs to add on 1 more, (or many more add ons... ) that is to convey the emotions into words, which he does pretty well too. I waited for Dior to update 3 days after the event. It felt so long ... When it came out, Deng Wei was in the 3rd picture. Sigh ... I wish he is the 1st one. The comments are mostly for Deng Wei. Mmm... Then, Reuter chose his picture, that made my day.

1) Bad Blogger There is a CDrama Fanpage. The owner describes her work as "Digital Creator" ... as if ... She never create anything, right? Hahaha... Anyway, she wrote a wrong info about an actress. Someone politely corrected the info. She bashed the comment. Her words were rude. Later, I found out that she belittled Deng Wei. I reported the page. It was a hassle ... The page is gone ... It was worth it. 2) Deng Wei made his choice, and I just respect him. My wish is that Love Of The Divine Tree will boom !!! Then good scripts will follow. My granddad used to say, "When you say good things many-many times, then it will be like praying for them... And so, they will come true." Hence, I am saying good things for Deng Wei. 3) Deng Wei doesn't drink. That reminds me of an incident ... It was my first Christmas Party. I felt very sleepy out of sudden. I had to excused myself early. I slept like a log. Later, my friend told me that they mix liquor into the fruit punch too. No wonder the juice felt a bit funny, a bit strong. It was written ‘fruit juice’, and so I thought it was mix of carbonated sparkling water + strawberry juice + grape juice. My guess is, if I drink alcohol, I will fall asleep. Danger, right?
