On April 13, Star News reported that Kim Go Eun was offered a lead role in the new drama “Eun Jung And Sang Yeon” (tentative title). In response to the report, Kim Go Eun’s agency BH Entertainment shared, “Kim Go Eun has received an offer from the production team of the new drama ‘Eun Jung And Sang Yeon’ and is currently positively reviewing the offer.”

Kim Go Eun will reportedly lead the upcoming K-drama Eun Jung and Sang Yeon.

Various media outlets shared on April 13 that Kim Go Eun will be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama titled Eun Jung and Sang Yeon. This will possibly be her first K-drama project for 2023. 

Kim Go Eun's side responded to the casting news. According to BH Entertainment, "Kim Go Eun did receive the offer and she is positively considering it."

The top actress last starred in the 2022 tvN K-drama Little Women wherein she brilliantly portrayed her role as the oldest sister. She worked alongside Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ki Joon, and Uhm Ji Won.
