Synopsis:

Zhou Xiaofeng is the Deputy Chief Physician of the Cardiology Department at Dongli Hospital. He has a restrained personality and demonstrates strong self-discipline both at work and in life. He and the outspoken and impulsive cardiothoracic surgeon Lin Yi become partners of the Coronary Care Team. The two have differing views about medical concepts and have greatly different personalities. Lin Yi has also just joined the hospital. Before, he only focused on surgery at Xili Hospital and lacked communication and collaboration skills with his colleagues. His immediate superior and mentor, Cao Nuoya, believed that this was not conducive to his growth, so he recommended him to the newly established Heart Center at Dongli Hospital.

 

In order to pursue her ideals and mediate the relationship between her brother and her mother, Zhou Xiaofeng's younger sister Fang Xiaoran joined Dongli Hospital and became a doctor in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. In the process of treating illness and saving lives, the three people become good working partners, from initially facing interpersonal and communication issues to developing mutual appreciation and support.
