Based on a popular webtoon and web novel, “The Heavenly Idol” is a tvN fantasy drama starring Kim Min Kyu as High Priest Rembrary, who suddenly wakes up one day to find himself in the body of Woo Yeon Woo, a member of the unsuccessful idol group Wild Animal.

On the previous episode of “The Heavenly Idol,” Rembrary and Kim Dal (Go Bo Gyeol) revealed their feelings for one another with a romantic forehead kiss that had viewers’ hearts skipping a beat.

 

However, on the upcoming episode of the drama, both their budding romance and Rembrary’s blossoming idol career will take a turn for the worse. In newly released stills from the next episode, Rembrary is covered in flour and raw egg after being attacked by upset fans.

 

Notably, Kim Dal is disguised as a gas company employee as she comforts the distraught Rembrary, raising the question of why the couple must now meet in secret while hiding Kim Dal’s identity.

 

The producers of “The Heavenly Idol” commented, “Woo Yeon Woo (Rembrary) is forced to hit the brakes on his burgeoning idol career after a series of unexpected incidents explodes one after another like bombs. Based on a popular webtoon and web novel, “The Heavenly Idol” is a tvN fantasy drama starring Kim Min Kyu as High Priest Rembrary, who suddenly wakes up one day to find himself in the body of Woo Yeon Woo, a member of the unsuccessful idol group Wild Animal.

Previously, Woo Yeon Woo captivated audiences with his impressive vocals on a music competition program, and he also charmed female contestants of a dating battle variety show with his flirting skills. As his popularity increases with each passing day, Woo Yeon Woo even lands an opportunity to model for an advertisment.

 

The newly released stills capture Woo Yeon Woo taking on his first modeling job for a candy advertisement along with actor Maeng Woo Shin (Kim Seo Ha). In the stills, Woo Yeon Woo transforms into an angel with his white suit and large, fluffy wings. Although filming an advertisement is a sign of great success for an idol, Woo Yeon Woo himself appears to still be in disbelief over the situation while wearing a disgruntled expression.

 

 

Nevertheless, Woo Yeon Woo quickly puts on his winning idol smile. As Maeng Woo Shin carries Woo Yeon Woo in his arms, Woo Yeon Woo lights up the room with a bright smile that is sure to make fans want to pull out their wallets.

In particular, this scene is reminiscent of when Woo Yeon Woo and High Priest Rembrary first swapped bodies, causing a broadcasting accident in which Woo Yeon Woo shamelessly yelled, “I don’t know how to dance,” in the middle of a performance. Viewers are excited to see if Wild Animal will be able to successfully wrap up their first comeback stage.

Yeon Woo then realized her feelings for Dal, but he fell into despair when he found out that he no longer has the power to heal people.
