  Story 

Han Jun Hee's boyfriend Ko Yeon Jun died one year ago. She still hasn't gotten over his death and misses him a lot. One day, she somehow travels back in time to the year 1998 and finds herself as high school student Kwon Min Joo. There, she meets high school student Nam Si Heon. She is surprised to see how much Nam Si Heon resembles her late boyfriend Ko Yeon Jun.

Nam Si Heon is outgoing and attractive; girls adore him. His best friend Jung In Kyu develops a crush on Kwon Min Joo.

Netflix has dropped a new poster and teaser for the upcoming series “A Time Called You”!

 

Based on the Taiwanese drama “Some Day or One Day,” “A Time Called You” is a time-slip romance revolving around the story of Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Been), who misses her boyfriend who passed away one year ago. She miraculously returns to the year 1998 and meets Si Heon (Ahn Hyo Seop) who looks exactly like her late boyfriend.

 

The newly released poster features a beautiful moment of a couple, but a crack that crosses between the two as well as the the subtly misaligned background draw viewers’ attention. The lines of text on top of the characters’ heads that read, “I can tell as soon as I see you,” and “I will go see you,” further stimulate curiosity on whether they are in the same time zone or looking for each other in different time zones.

 

 

The teaser kicks off with Jun Hee missing her boyfriend Yeon Jun who passed away in a sudden accident. The moment Jun Hee plays the mysterious cassette tape that was delivered to her, she enters the time of 1998. Jun Hee wakes up as high school student Min Ju who lives in a different time zone and meets Si Heon who looks exactly like her late boyfriend Yeon Jun.

 

Jun Hee has been longing to see Yeon Jun just one more time, but the person in front of her is not Yeon Jun but high school student Si Heon. On top of this, Si Heon’s best friend In Gyu (Kang Hoon) has a crush on Min Ju. When a bittersweet love triangle between the three is about to begin, a mysterious incident that threatens Min Ju occurs at the same time.

Upcoming Netflix drama “A Time Called You” has unveiled new stills of the main characters!

 

Based on the Taiwanese drama “Some Day or One Day,” “A Time Called You” is a time-slip romance revolving around the story of Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Been), who misses her boyfriend who passed away one year ago. She miraculously returns to the year 1998 and meets Si Heon (Ahn Hyo Seop) who looks exactly like her late boyfriend.

 

While listening to an old cassette tape that she received in a package delivered to her, Jun Hee travels to the year 1998 and becomes a high school student named Min Ju (Jeon Yeo Been). In that time period, Min Ju meets Si Heon, who has the same face as her late boyfriend Yeon Jun (Ahn Hyo Seop), and his close friend In Gyu (Kang Hoon).

 

The newly released stills depict the different roles played by the cast as they portray their characters from the present time and past. Ahn Hyo Seop plays both Yeon Jun, who was preparing to propose to Jun Hee when he gets into an unexpected accident, as well as high school student Si Heon from the year 1998. Ahn Hyo Seop remarked, “I was attracted to the many images that could be portrayed due to the difference in the times the characters [are from].”

 

 

Jeon Yeo Been, who portrays employee Jun Hee in the year 2023 and shy high school student Min Ju in the year 1998, shared, “The most important thing was trust—the trust that I think that I am Min Ju while I am Min Ju and the trust that I believe I am Jun Hee while [portraying] Jun Hee.”

 

She added, “The gazes, actions, and reactions of Min Ju and Jun Hee toward Yeon Jun and Si Heon are different, so I developed the characters while relying on my co-star a lot.”

Kang Hoon, who plays the role of In Gyu, commented, “I acted while focusing on the detailed emotional changes in In Gyu, who may appear weak on the outside but is a rational, calm, and thoughtful character,” raising anticipation for his transformation.

NewJeans will be taking on their first-ever drama OST!

 

On August 24, an official from Netflix confirmed reports that NewJeans will be participating in the OST (original soundtrack) for its upcoming series “A Time Called You.” Netflix further shared that NewJeans’ OST will be a remake of Kim Jong Seo’s 1996 song “Beautiful Restriction” (literal title).

 

Based on the hit Taiwanese drama “Some Day or One Day,” “A Time Called You” is a time-slip romance starring Jeon Yeo Been as Jun Hee, a woman who desperately misses her boyfriend after he passes away. After waking up as the high school student Min Ju, she encounters Si Heon, a fellow student who bears an uncanny resemblance to Yeon Jun. Director Kim Jin Won shared that he focused on creating smooth transitions between the different time periods to enable viewers to naturally follow the characters’ emotional journeys. He added, “The actors delivered different performances, transcending various time periods and emotions, for each character yet smoothly connected the overall storyline, which contributed to the series being a well-made drama.
