Han So Hee Tests Positive For COVID-19 During “Gyeongseong Creature” Filming

 

Actress Han So Hee has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

 

On September 12, Han So Hee’s agency 9ato Entertainment shared, “Han So Hee tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently resting at home.”

 

On September 9, Han So Hee was feeling unwell while filming Season 2 of “Gyeongseong Creature” and took a COVID-19 test. On the following day, she tested positive.

 

Set in the dark times of spring 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” is a thriller about two young adults who face off against a creature and fight for survival. The drama is written by Kang Eun Kyung of the “Dr. Romantic” series, directed by Jung Dong Yoon of “Stove League,” and stars Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Claudia Kim, Wi Ha Joon, Bae Hyun Sung, and more.

Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee's upcoming action thriller K-drama Gyeongseong Creature will reportedly be released on Netflix before the year ends.

On October 31, media outlet Star News shared that Gyeongseong Creature will premiere worldwide on Netflix on December 22. The upcoming K-drama is one of the most anticipated releases of Netflix this year. Just like the hit Netflix original K-dramas The Glory and Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area - Part 1, Gyeongseong Creature will also be released in two parts. 

Gyeongseong Creature will reveal the journey of two young people who will do their best to survive in an era full of darkness and a monster born of greed.  The upcoming K-drama is set in the spring of 1945.

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of the renowned production team, director Jung Dong Yoon (It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Hot Stove League) and writer Kang Eun Kyung (Dr. Romantic and Gu Family Book). It will be produced by Writing & Picture Media, Kakao Entertainment, and Studio Dragon.

The first part of Gyeongseong Creature will have a total of 10 episodes. 

 

Gyeongseong Creature will be led by Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Kim Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, Jo Han Chul, Wi Ha Joon, and more. 

Park Seo Joon will play the role of Jang Tae Sang, he is a popular wealthy man in Bukchon. He is also popular for knowing a lot of information in Gyeongseong. 

Han So Hee will play the role of Yun Chae Ok. While growing up, she has been traveling to Manchuria and Shanghai, China, with her father. She struggled in life so she was forced to learn how to survive. She knows how to shoot guns, use knives, and handle machines. 10 years ago, Yun Chae Ok's mother went missing. Because of this, Yun Chae Ok travels to Gyeongsong to find her lost mother. 

Netflix responded to the reports of media outlet Star News regarding the premiere of the series. According to Netflix, it is still difficult to confirm the release date of Gyeongseong Creature. The OTT platform revealed that they will announce the exact date when it's finally decided.

Netflix has released official teasers of its original K-drama Gyeongseong Creature.

Releasing on December 22, Gyeongseong Creature tells the story of people trying to survive in an era of darkness and confront a monster born of greed.

Netflix has unveiled character stills from Gyeongseong Creature featuring Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Kim Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, Jo Han Chul, and Wi Ha Joon.

Set in the dark times of the spring of 1945, Gyeongseong Creature tells the story of two young people confronting monsters born out of greed. The K-drama boasts a star-studded cast.

Household names such as Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee star as the main leads of Gyeongseong Creature. 

Park Seo Joon plays Jang Tae Sang. Tae Sang is the owner of Gyeongseong's top pawn shop, Geum Ok Dang, and the number one source of information. He holds all the necessary information about power, money, goods, and even people.

The character stills of Jang Tae Sang portray him dressed in a suit, with neatly combed hair and a confident gaze. Park Seo Joon remarks that he created the character by looking up the fashion of that era.

 

 

Han So Hee takes on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, a woman who knows how to find dead persons. Chae Ok travels from Manchuria to Gyeongseong with her father in search of clues about her missing mother and makes a deal with Jang Tae Sang.

The teaser commences with Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) saying, "Spring found its way unusually quickly to Gyeongseong that year." The dramatic music adds to a sense of foreboding. 

Tae Sang senses someone following him. Coming face-to-face with Chae Ok (Han So Hee), they point their guns at each other.

Set in the dark times of the spring of 1945, Gyeongseong Creature tells the story of two young people confronting a monster born out of greed. 

The K-drama boasts a star-studded cast, including Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Kim Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, Jo Han Chul, and Wi Ha Joon.

The trailer opens with a voiceover questioning, "Are you a good man or a bad man?" Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) loads his gun to shoot.

Yun Chae Ok (Han So Hee) inquires, "Are you Master Jang of the House of Golden Treasure?" Tae Sang, in return, asks about her identity. She reveals her intentions, saying, "I'm looking for someone."

Chae Ok goes on to describe Tae Sang, highlighting that he is the most well-informed in Gyeongseong and gets a lot of attention. Scenes of Jang Tae Sang fighting the men surrounding him on a dark night flash by.
