is spreading tales abt DJY / Geom in the Khitan camp tht is fighting againt Tang for DJY.

Li Kaigu n him sneak into the Khitan camp to talk to Chulin and tht no good creep make use of this opportunity to spread tales to one of the Khitan leader in the camp.!!!!!

Geom returns from the main camp with DJY and Li KaiGu was talking to Chulin inside..

The end of 127 concludes with DJY detecting someone is in the tent other than he and Chulin as he speaks to Chulin alone in the tent. (Li HaiGu is still hiding in the tent )

Mimosa also felt something was wrong whne he entered the khitan camp with DJY.

I was cursing tht creep alng the way when i watch.. :fury: :fury:

ep128 preview shows DJY crying out loud.. i think someone is giong to die..

and end preview shows GUlsabiwu and Guemlan cornered to edge of cliff by Li Wen..

udsd, thank you for the links. I managed to get 127. It is so good to see a Choi Soo Jong avatar and signature banner. You must be a devoted Choi Soo Jong fan ! Too sad we can't get the other period dramas of his apart from the Emperor of the Sea and this one. Sigh...I would have loved to watch the other ones too.

China is an immense country. Even within a dynasty, there were constantly uprisings here and there. DJY would have been very busy putting out fires if he tried to rule China.

Have to say ep 112 and 113 were exceptionally exciting. Finally, I got to see DJY fight again and showing his face even for no more than 10 mins. It's still worth it. I wanted so much for him to decapitate Li Kaigu!!! Choi Soo Jong played the role so well especially when he got angry looking out at the enemy. He conveyed the sense of barbaric ferocity so well with his voice and his eyes!!

i have read alot of Chinese history book especiall Three Kingdom Era of the Han... but this guy Shin Hong is nowhere to be able to compare to any of those great Zhuge Liang , Sima Yi, Jia Xu, Xun Yu, Pang Tong... this guy Shin Hong is such a stupid advisor getting his lords losing country, wife , son... he even killed the King who build his country... what a bollocks..

For those who downloaded the e-subs ripped uploaded by the kind soul @ kbfd, the recent epside upload has missing scenes.

I think the country which is showing kbsworld has cut off some scenes.

One scene was YIngzhou was captured by Turks Mucho and Khitan ppl had to escape. So Chulin and Geom broiught the ppl to Ansi Fort where DJS was leading the refugees in Yingzhou to Ansi Fort also.

In the forest at night, Gulsabiwu apprached chulin to have a private talk with her. DJS saw .. and he followed behind. That's when he heard Geom is his grandson.

Actually before tht scene, In the day when Geom/Chulin and the rest of the ppl was travelling in the forest towardrs Ansi Fort, there was a signifacnt convo betw Geom and Chulin abt whether it is right of them to bring the Khitan to Ansi Fort as ... LiKaigu had just have a war with DJY. And now they are seeking DJY's help. That's when Gulsaibiwu heard the convo betw Geom and Chulin.

so he had seek Chulin out at night to set the record straight .. i think this is scene shld be there else ppl watching wld find it strange why Gulsabiwu suddenly approach Chulin to clarify the thing abt Geom's birth right in the middle of the forest..

if KBSworld can do 1 hr of broadcasting with commercial ads, i dont see why not the rest of other stations cant. I think they are trying to cut down so it can be finished faster.

I am watching KBSworld from Asia and they didnt cut off those scenes. It still takes up 1hr time slot with commercials break at half time (30mins).

It's really making me more confused by having scenes here and there cut. .. tht means i have to go buy n rewatch the whole drama again when it ends. It cld meant there might be more significant scenes that are chopped.

He's such an amazing actor yet I can find nothing on him, hardly no pictures, and none of his past dramas even though he has played in many. Can anyone help me out with this? It's sad about what happened in episode 128. *Sobs* I'm sad about all of the characters that are being removed but this is the best historical drama I have ever seen. Choi Soo Jung is an outstanding actor, I wonder if he has any upcoming events, dramas, or movies he will be casted in next year.

So, I'm back and ready to post but I have so much to share that I don't even know where to begin...

BUT how's this for starters...

MAJOR SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

So I'm in the mid teens of the 100's and EXCUSE ME, BUT AM I WATCHING THE DRAMA DAE JO YOUNG OR HAVE THEY RENAMED IT..LEE HAE-GO?

I mean honestly, how much time is this scum bucket getting? And oh, what's even better is they're trying to invoke my sympathy for him.

Well guess what?

IT AIN'T WORKING!

Is this the same LHG who beats up on his son when he reminds him too much of DJY?

Is this the same LHG who accepted the surrender of some Tang prisoners and then ordered their slaughter?

Is this the same LHG who as soon as Khan had hit the dirt reneged on the deal to help the Goguryeon people and instead arranged their removal and oh yes, another slaughter!

Is this the same LHG who after DJY, with great bloodshed, defeated the Tang and re-claimed You Dong, wanted to then walk in and claim it for himself?

Oh no, Mr Script Writers, you can't fool me. I know exactly what kind of man LHG is and playing the sympathy card AIN'T GOING TO CUT IT!

But that's right. I remember now. This is the man who you decided would lovingly raise the son of his arch enemy without even batting an eyelid! Wow, talk about consistency!

And as for Chu Lin, her ambivalence is driving me nuts! Honestly, how did you ever think you would reconcile this CL? Keep him wrapped up in moth balls forever! Your son is now the battle ground b/w 2 men who loathe each other and if you haven't noticed, it's tearing Goem apart! The way they've dealt with this whole story demonstrates lazy writing and I think it would have been better if they'd never allowed DJY and CL to meet and fall in love in the first place, if they're just going to trash the story like this. I hate it. It's like reading a good book and then half way through, all the characters change and suddenly bad is good and good is bad. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am deliberately not reading the other posts b/c I don't want to be spoiled BUT there is one thing I do want to know and that is -WHEN DO ALL THE BADDIES GET IT? The last few episodes have been so hard to watch b/c it just looks like you can be evil and get away with it again and again. I hate stories like this! It's like reading 1984 all over again.

Oh, and one more thing before I have a rest. How hpocritical are the Georan leaders (not my Khan!)? For months and months they've trashed DJY at every opportunity and raised the spectre of him taking control of their lands and then...

WHEN THINGS ARE REALLY GOING WRONG, they invoke the Goem card and are willling to use that to get DJY on side? The hypocrisy of these leaders astounds me and when they were invaded I'm sorry, I had very little sympathy for them, b/c let's face it, the Georan people have done their fair share of plundering, murdering and raping. Sorry, guys! I think you forgot there's alwasy a price to pay!

HIGHLIGHTS AND LOWLIGHTS OF THIS WEEK'S VIEWING. PART 1.

SPOILERS AS ALWAYS! BE PREPARED!

HIGHLIGHTS!

1) LW and a tree meet again! Ah, so much fun. What a target to aim at! Perfect in every way!

2) The redemption of LW. I was flabbergasted when LW genuinely offered his sincerest apologies to XR but when he offered him his true allegiance as well, I knew LW was finally becoming a man I could respect! A truly remarkable event and for the first time in this whole series I empathised with LW. At last, LW was letting go of himself and all his selfish ambitions and willingly offering himself in service to another. Ah, LW, you surprised me and I take my hat off to you. Maybe now, you might become a worthy adversary to our DJY.

3) The payment of Dae Jang Sung's debt to XR. It must have been very hard for DJS to let XR go at that moment, knowing how badly his son wanted him, but what was even more important to DJS at that moment was the debt of honour he owed XR and so in the final balance, and once and for all to clear the table, he allowed XR to pass unnoticed after his ignomious defeat. To make up for it though, we did get the delightful sight of XR, covered in blood and dirt, crawling on the ground. A moment I will remember for a long time!

4) Khan's (not the later inferior version) appreciation and respect for DJY, epitomized by giving his last will and testament to JY ah. I loved to watch these 2 together and even though there were times of disagreement, they were never clouded over with mistrust.... unlike the rest of the Georan tribe. I believe that it was b/c of this burgeoning relationship Khan was able to handle the revelation about Geom so well. He knew the character of DJY. He knew he was a man of honour, a man who genuinely cared for his people and sought to help them, not use or abuse them and so he could rest easy in the heritage of his grandson. Of course, this understanding didn't happen overnight but I was so relieved when DJY returned from You-Dong to see that Khan was still open and accepting of Jo Young ah.

LOWLIGHTS!

1) Shin Hong. Attempt on DJY. And heaven forbid, that he should actually be grateful to this man who granted him mercy! NOT!

2) Shin Hong. Khan. Need I say more!

3) Shin Hong. When, oh when, is someone going to stop this lying, conniving, duplicitous, manipulative, venomous snake of a man. His continous schemes are driving me mad and when I see him look at Geom with those slimy eyes and wonder what plans he has for him, I just want to scream and tell LHG to rid himself once and for all of this treacherous man.

4) Lee Hae-Go. His rampant jealousy of DJY.

5) Lee Hae-Go. The prisoners.

6) Lee Hae-Go. The Goguryeon people.

7) Lee Hae-Go. Etc, etc.

I could go on and on but I desperately need sleep. I will return tomorrow but let me just finish with this highlight...

GEOM.

OH, HOW HE LIGHTS UP THE SCREEN WITH HIS DIGNITY, HIS INTEGRITY AND HIS HONOUR. Truly a fitting heir to DJY.

Okay, I'm a Choi Soo Jong fan and today finally, after drooling over his role as Jang Bogo of Emperor of the Sea, I have finally drawn him here. Not very good yet but I'll work in future renditions including the slave one of Dae Jo Young!!! :blush:

rainhero18, I don't see a lot of news about Choi Soo Jong either and what I found in Chinese, I've translated them here. But otherwise, I google for the main KBS and korean drama sites to to read about his other dramas which cannot be found online very much. First Love is available in DVD box set because of Bae Jo Yong and Emperor of the Sea is available at amazon.com with English subs and at some online companies with Chinese subs. But so far, I haven't found the rest of them in retail format.
