Yup! *keeping fingers crossed & pray that they will be paired again next year!  I'm still thinking about that 'soon' caption til now even tho they already re-enacted the scene in taiwan. Add to that, the universal and one eye pics in his IG. I'm really not giving up any idea that they might pair up again in the right time.

Back to this tv show, even it said it reality show i don't believe if it's pure reality... i still want continue to believe Joon Gi, if i remember i read somewhere he said this challenging him, is it right? so i think he just want to explore his romance side and of course this reason because he's an actor.

Important thing that we see between Joon Gi and Ji Eun wasn't in drama, but we see their interaction through real situation...the press con, bts, awards event and their fan meeting  Yes chingu, let's keep chant BBJX miracles come true! 

There there chinggu. It's okay. We can make it. I'd like to believe that the show won't be 100% reality. Some parts of it could entail following a script to get the conversation flowing a certain way? To think about it, We Got Married is more intense in terms of playing up the romantic concept but 90% of the couples that went on it never ended up dating in real life despite creating the perfect environment for them to fall for each other.  I will think of this as JG exercising his romantic chops for art's sake. And I totally agree, we can be sure of is our OTP's sincere actions towards one another and the crumbs that they, (especially JG) have inconspicuously left for us to  believe in. Let's keep trusting the BBJX magic!

Yeah, they did used his real name. Right! this is just another project he accepted and he is bound by a contract.

looking at the lines and the story again it just too scripted for me like i said its more like a short drama but the different is they said its a reality show. 

i will even sadder if his new dramas/movies has alot of romantic or intimate scenes, BIG NO NO! lolz...  at least in MEC they only communicate through phone right..

btw i had the same thought as u about "have a nice weekend" pic, because he put that caption on his US pic, i mean if he wanted he could choosed any other pics, so it's possible

If after all that we have seen and known about JoonU, he can just switch to another girl, then he truly deserves what he gets from Jieun after MEC.

I said this .. This is reality show afterall guys .. No need to worry about it. JG and his candies only talked until the battery is off. Can't be compared to JE. Looking at how they used Italy as background, how the cameraman filmed them, how JG narrated "Fate like meeting in this space. Could I find it?", JG was pretending riding the bicycle like scene from movie and they used a lot of background musics, JG and his candy basically just filmed movie with reality show as format haha

I remember JGS being all lovey with YIN in episode 1-2, but the next episode when he has conversation with his other candy, his candy said "How about that girl (YIN)?" then JGS answered "Who is her?" So, basically they only did this as reality show needed only .. No need to worry JG will fall for his candy. This show is also the way to promote another side/personality of JG that fans/viewers never know about him. He's still actors afterall, he still need to work for his fans whether it's in drama or reality show department. So, this has nothing with JE  Keep stronger and believing BBJX Curse guys~~ Love u all stargazers 

EDIT : LJG probably will only film this reality show with 1 candy

Hi, Stargazer !  I've been silently lurking here for some time, and now decided to create an account to happily being on our Sohae couple ship with you all. 

 

I just want to give my 2cents regarding on JG participation in My Ears Candy variety show. I STRONGLY agree that it CAN'T be a 100% reality show from the celebrity, where some lines were scripted and celebrity was required to perform with and create certain kind of shooting atmosphere which fix to the theme and idea of the show.

Back to JG real-life personality (which i've known so far, maybe long-time JG fans can correct me on this), JG often told that he is not a romantic kind of guy in various interviews, and I remember in one of his interview, he mentioned that he is giving those sweet words and flirty action ONLY in front of his fans, but he will not usually be like that in his real life. So, what i meant here is, I don't think JG real-life personality will be able to naturally portray those lovey-dovey atmosphere as shown in the teaser, unless he is required. Not to mention that he is only getting to know the candy for the first time, ONLY through phone even without knowing how the other looks like, NOT EVEN half a day since he first meeting the candy (based the clothes he wore in the show) .  All these are not enough to make him to go that quickly into those lovey-dovey mood and conversation if he was to perform with his 100% true personality (unless he is a SUPER flirty kind of guy).

If you realize, you will also be able to find out that in the FIRST appearance and conversation of other celebrities in the show, they were also giving out the SAME romantic kind of feeling, which is not possible since they are of different personality, they should be portraying a various different kind of feeling (again, unless they are required to create those romantic feeling). I think, if JG was to perform with his 100% own personality, he will be keeping on facing a lot of NGs since his real personality would not able to go with the idea of the shooting.

Speaking in real life, I dont believe JG will get into those lovey-dovey mood with a woman THAT FAST as what i mention above, plus his age and state of maturity won't allow him to do so (even I'm in my 20s', I will not allow myself to do so). I believe JG has his own reason for have chosen this show.

Anyway, nice to meet you all here, and thanks to you that, I have been happily reading the thread all these while. I will wish the best for our OTP on whatever their choices are, and I decided to be a happy shipper and am ready to sail or sank in this ship ! Good day everyone

hello chingus..just finished watching JG's videos on his fanmeet in Singapore. It was a blast...he is a born charmer and entertainer...actually since I am in delulu..I would like to mention a certain thing that make me smile..how he spazz to his fans his song 'Now'. Like he wanted them to say the word 'now' over and over again..lol. I mean he had sang tons of his songs in the FM but why this song, yeah could it be that it is a song for his fans like he said so he wanted him to have them memorize the song but why asking them to recite the word 'now' over and over again. It was hilarious..haha..just see for yourself..there is a video in JG forum thread but unfortunately I don't know how to share it. Anyways, the delulu is that we all know what is 'now' in hangul..A wordplay of JE name in IG...lol.

For the 'candy' reality show, I don't have a problem with it. JG is an actor so he really need to tackle different areas in order for him to grow as an actor. I think it is selfish for us to wish him out of a show just because it is a kind of flirty show. It is just a show, just like any other shows he will be in, in the future. I think him being on this show is in accordance to his wish to be seen as an ordinary person by his fans and for the public to know his thoughts. Frankly, I am anticipating the show as I wanted to know some of his thoughts, maybe on dating and relationship?? And then maybe we can get some crumbs on it, considering we are on drought as of the moment. Actually the format is talking with a 'candy', a stranger you don't know in the phone with your thoughts..personally, I think even if he is supposed to be talking to that 'candy', could it be that he can visualize himself talking to a 'close' friend (delulu..I am talking about you 'close friend' JE) and telling her his thoughts..I think if I am going to talk to a stranger over the phone..I will visualize that the stranger is someone I knew and trust so that I can open up to her...because I don't think one can really open up to a complete stranger without doing this?? I guess it is a technique..of course it is my delulu talking.

so yeah, bring it on. I still have faith with this ship and with my previous gut feeling of jumping on this ship before, my feeling still haven't changed. I guess we are just impatient due to lack of crumbs but remember..now..is the precious moment that we need to be patient coz nobody knows what will the future brings..BBJX miracle do come true.
