My dear Chingus!!!!! So glad that @faith101 was here to upload. There was a slight delay in my flight today and I just made it to the venue in time, hence didn't even find the time to take pics and get all the souvenirs. 

But like faith101 has mentioned, the fan meet was AWESOME!!!!!! The MC was hilarious!!! Bo Gum was so moved by the fans in HK, he broke down twice, even the translator broke down. 

When I did the high five with him his palm was soft and big. My mind went blank when I saw him. I just kept saying Thank You. That's all I could say. 

Update: Please forgive me guys, it's already 1am here in HK, and I'm still so hyped from the FM just now. I would like to give a detaled account, as I have a lot to say. But after a 12 hour flight and 4 hour fan meet my brain is not functioning properly.  

In short, he talked more about his feelings in MDBC in the HK fan meet today and the way he answered the questions were to my liking as a BoYoo shipper.

ahh, @superfangermany_stv i thought you are super vocal, you should have told him that you flew all the way from Germany to see him

Thanks @youngon for the piece of information to clear up the misconception;  very happy that he brought in YJ into the conversation, now i have a great peace of mind and feeling giddy. 

you know, regarding his tour catch phrase "Oh happy day", it is such a good theme as his aim is really want his fans to enjoy the precious time at fan-meeting and to have a happy time.. and in all his interviews and encountered with fans.., he wants his fans to treasure family time as well, and that definitely bring great happiness to one's life.  Also, at the end his meeting or signing session, he is always so genuine and happily blessing fans with a "God bless you!" ; and always remembers to acknowledge God in his thank you speech at his award winning ceremonies.  He is one artist who really displays the glory of God with boldness and with sincerity.

and oh, his "Oh Happy Day" brought to mind this happy song we used to sing at the youth group!

@peachlover777 It's not your fault sweetie, the person who translated it was obviously a non-BoYoo shipper who wanted BoYoos to believe that was what he said. 

I wanted to tell him that I flew 12hrs and was running in the airport terminal like a mad ahjumma because of him!!!! But the minute I saw him, my mind literally went poof the magic dragon.  

He was saying Thank you to everyone in Chinese during the high five session, but when it was my turn, he suddenly spoke in English. He said "Thank you very much for coming", that moment I felt really "special"...Hahahaha...Sorry YJ!!! I know he's your person.

I am still trying to find a video at the FM where he was asked about his favorite scenes in MDBC & 1988, if anyone find it could you post it here? I have something important that I want to translate that has to do with us BoYoos. Am hoping to translate word by word.

@torquoiselily @bubblyflo Thank you!!! The fan meet tickets although expensive was worth EVERY single cent. He is no doubt much better looking in person, and much taller than I expected him to be (maybe coz he's lean).

@peachlover777 It was a very touching moment when they showed these two videos on the screen. BG was planning to take the big selfie pic and was kneeling down facing the huge display behind him (holding the selfie stick), then these 2 videos appeared on the screen one after the other. He shed tears while watching them. 

I just got a hold of my son's notebook. Was trying to type with my mobile, but it was a bit frustrating with the tiny screen. I can't place the entire 3hr fan meet into words, but will try my very best to point out what i felt were the highlights. 

 

First thing first, the MC, Sammy & the translator were a great combo to begin with. Sammy is a well known radio DJ and TV compere in HK, and is known best for his sarcastic humor. The female translator has been translating for many of Korean celebrities who visit HK for the past few years, fans in HK call her Ahjumma. She is no doubt one of the best.

Of course a big salute to BG. 3hr fan meet then followed by Hi-Touch session with the thousands of fans there. He must have been super exhausted. He tried his very best to speak in Cantonese in the FM, and told us that he will try his best to learn Cantonese. I must say, after watching the fan meet in KL, then having to watch the FM in HK, I don't know if it could be that he's been in HK earlier this year, so he looks way more relaxed and seemed to have put in a lot of his own ideas and thoughts into the FM in HK. He was showing us pics from his own personal album (his trip to the US), photos he took in HK during MAMA. He even gave out his own belongings during the game sessions. One of which was the black leather backpack he brought along with him to Africa!! His old phone case (with his signature), and a blanket which he used while shooting Reply 1988. He shows huge interest/liking for HK food and said he wants to visit HK again just to eat...Hahahaha

Questions from fans:

There were a number of questions, like what's the first thing he does when he wakes up in the morning, and he said he will stretch his arms when he gets up. But the two questions that everyone here might be find interesting is "Do you prefer to take care of others, or would you rather be taken care of". His reply was that he prefers to take care of others, but thinks it would be nice to be taken care of too. 2nd one was "What do you do when you want to confess to a girl when you are in love?" He looked straight into the camera (as if he was saying it to us), and he said I Love You in Cantonese. Followed by a reply from us shouting I Love You in Cantonese. BG then said "Me too" in Cantonese too

Favorite scenes voted by fans: 
I shall not compare 1988 here until I get a hold of the video. Don't want to attract antis to out thread again. I'll talk about MDBC for now. Fans chose the following scenes as their favorites in MDBC: 1) Jeoha confesses to Raon in the garden  2) You are My Person (Lantern scene)  3) Jeoha holding the dying Byung Yeon. If I remembered clearly, he said that among the 3, his favorite was scene 2. It was through that scene that he claims "ownership" of Raon. He went on to explain how difficult it was to immerse into the role of Lee Yeong at the beginning, but at the later stage he said HE BECAME LEE YEONG. **get the jive guys?**                                                                                                                                                                               

Things which he did for the fans in HK:                                                                                                                                                   Many of you might have already seen the videos on IG and twitter. He played SO MANY games with the fans. The main ones were to repeat scenes from 1988 & MDBC with fans. Recording a morning wake call for a fan for her mobile, and then a husband of one of the fans asked BG to give his wife a bouquet of flowers for their 10th wedding anniversary (BG cried here). BG cooking for 2 fans and fed the MC & the translator. Bingo game with fans.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

The Christmas carol he sang and played on the piano was beautiful. I personally was very moved by that. He also did the Boombastic dance in traditional Chinese costume and sang a Chinese song dressed in that costume. After which he said he wanted to keep the costume. The finale with him singing My Person at the end with glitters falling down from above was the peak of the event. Remarkably mesmerizing scene. I recorded a video of him singing the entire song. All I can say was that it was 4 hours of happiness, warmth and cringe worthy moments with BG at a very personal level.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Chingus here who are in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan who have not got tickets to watch his FM, my advice is GO!!!! GO GET TICKETS!!! You will not regret it. OK, that's all I can remember for now. If I remember anything more that was important, I'll post it later. Please forgive me, I'm still suffering from a bad jet lag. He chose the scene where Jinyoung grabs the sword with his bare hands while trying to protect him from the assassins. When I saw that scene on the screen I was like "Huh?!?!?!?!?! Are u kidding?!?!?!?! "

He obviously was told that he should not mention that  his favorite scene was one with YJ in it. But I felt bad for him as he looked like he was trying VERY HARD to find reasons why he LIKED the scene. Am sure everyone here understands what I'm trying to say. This is another reason why I hope to find the video of this interview. So for his next FM stop, I am certain that you would most probably expect him saying that his favorite scenes are those with BY, Evil Queen...or even maybe with the little princess. But it will NOT be with YJ.

Dear @superfangermany_stvthank you thank you thank you for the bottom of heart! Reading your post made me feel as if I was there in the crowd last night. If Bogum ever holds a fanmeet in Sydney, I'll rob a bank if I have too..

Btw, I saw a fanvid on IG from the HK FM of him holding back his tears while the giant screen showing fans with eyes closed and both palms of hands on their chests. The HK fans recorded their expressions of hopes and prayers for him? If so, that's indeed a beautiful and considerate gesture. I feel like giving his lovely fans a hug right now.

Lastly, there're questions nagging me since I read the SNS post about Bogum mentioning Yoojung and their earlier MAMA trip to HK, maybe any of dearest chingus here know the answer.

I know that there are two versions of translation to THAT comment, with the major difference being the absence of him saying "we only said Hi to each other" in the latter version of translation. I'd say the second version of translation has more implication to shippers, in a good way of course 

What I've been wondering about THAT comment are: Why did he mention Yoojung in the first place? What prompted him to mention her name in his comment? Was he specifically being asked about Yoojung? If that was the case, what was the actual question that made him mentioning Yoojung???
