That's what i'm talking about.. Somehow, story like this (powerfull and independent woman) is stil relatively new in Korea.. They rather like "clasic" character for female .. They stil learn to accept that.. That's why the ratings climb so very slow, even though the other dramas are no matched to Doctors.. Sorry to say that, but i'm just being honest.. But thanks to the good writing, director, and casts, Doctors still the highest in it's time slot.. In the contrary, for a lot of us who are international fans, Doctors is indeed a fresh air and very entertaining.. I don't feel it's slowing down at all.. But, that's how the story has to flow.. If it's not, then it's not about a reality anymore..

They need patients and cameo is perfect. It's a win-win situation for the drama and cameo.

Somehow I think not win - win solution...but more positive effect to cameo than to the drama. because the cameo is popular actress/actor, writer nim must write something that worthy for the cameo, right? but if the patient not a cameo, writer nim can just focus on main lead to solve the problem. I understand pdnim writernim want to increase the rating, but with the cameo, don't have effect at all. rating still decrease, right? this is just my thought..

 And it also seems to be trend now days in korean dramas.. So, why not.. I'm getting to know other actors that i never knew before through their cameo in Doctors.. So, it's a win for us fans too, or at least just for me..

ONE is set to run a 2 day special Doctors marathon on July 30 (episode 1 - 6) & 31 (episode 7 - 12), 12:45pm to 7:30 PM, 6 episode back to back. 

I'm happy for Doctors team. Congrats. Before this KBS run 1 day special DOTS marathon.

Recently, "Love Story In Harvard" also airing at ONE channel and at the same time, they promote "Doctors" because Kim Rae Won cast in both of the dramas

KRW in a suit with flowers... proposing and smiling and soooo cheesy. His cheesiness will be back it's his personal nature and you cant change that. After the death of his father, his a changed man now. One whom will take more responsibility in his own actions. Its so good to see him step up. So no I dont see it anything but a positive light especially for his character growth with it's equally as important as our other leads.  

 

 Im still on hmmmm.. let me see page 668 OH GOSH so much more to read.  I'll get there just hoping my wifi will holds up.

It was at the beginning of the drama. In the last 3-4 episodes do not.

I do not see interesting scenes with her in the last episodes (for example, in the 12th the moment of arrest stalker only).
Drama interested of people that it may even be the first time in the Korean drama, the protagonist - a woman.
And she is not just with someone and for someone, namely her character - leading.
She's strong, smart, beautiful, sexy, etc.
But gradually HJ from the main character becomes an ordinary female image for dramas - JH's lovely woman only. 

 

I kind of get what you meant. The drama started to loose some drama aspects in its latest episode. And dare I say, I blame the writer for this.

@shinhyefan... i agree with thao_2512 ... because it's a medical drama... and d focus is still on our OTP (emphasize in d way our OTP help this patient's life better...)

(as u may aware, Doctor is a 24/7 job and d more patients meaning more learning for Doctor ... so, i think PD-nim and writer-nim want to insert this thing)

- --HJ felt JH needed alone time to work out feelings about fathers death didn't want to bother him- she was alone as she worked out her grandmothers-thought that is how it is done.
- --JH waited for HJ to call and comfort him
- Result --
- -- JH cold towards HJ on his return-mad no phone call, thought she did not care
- -- HJ worried that asking JH to change made him act cold.

Communication 
HJ explained why she did not call him- JH said he missed her and why he waited in vain for her call

Result
A stronger open relationship sealed with a kiss

I dont think so they are in the same level. YD might be a specialist and jh  probably a consultant. In my hospital specialist and consultant have their own room.
