and I agree with a comment that saying that DS chose to be a flight attendant because she knows JH wants to be a pilot.. And now that I've rewatching old episodes, when she still doesnt have a crush on anyone in the gang, she ALWAYS seek Junghwan's attention the most: her hitting him because of mundane things.. like baiting for his attention.. EVEN IN THE FIRST MINUTES OF EP1.. or when she asked "Jungpal, is my jacket look good on me?" "I'm wearing hanbok, isnt it pretty?" possibly because she's having feelings for him already from the start. That is why the pink shirt incident hurts her so much. And with her giving fake smiles in 1994.. I can see her holding on to that last thread of hope that JH still having feelings for her.. kinda sad to think, really. 

 

i'd also like to think that after all these six years, DS had found out about the truth about the pink shirt, coz, really how can she think JH pink shirt would fit JB. Plus, six years is a long time to not figure that thing out...

I agree.Even me can't wait for the subs lol.Whenever Friday comes I visit this thread and look for the spoilers hahaha I hope that on the last airing of Reply 1988 the subs will be out the next day but but  .I need to learn their language!  Can't wait!

Last for tonight, I really missed you today guys  I was really excited to go back home just to back read lol I feel like JH and you guys are DS, I want to see you guys many times a day 

Anyway, I visited the recaps of R94 yet again, I and some of you have mentioned about the parallelism of ep 19 of R94 to what we had in ep 18. It was CB-NJ-T fate narration that was the focus of the ep and just like uri JH, T was being kept by traffic and many other hindrances till he reach the hospital only to be hit headfirst by fate, CB-NJ together and elevator closing on him. 

Man I get goosebumps when I see parallelism between the previous installments. It has been presented to us before but it keeps getting heart-wrenching with the way different characters relate to it.

THIS SHOWS HOW MUCH WE LOVE SUNG DEOKSUN AND KIM JUNGHWAN AND HOW MUCH WE WANT THEM TO GET MARRIED. JHXDS shipper's thread is forever in the hot topic and popular box because there is no point of being pessimistic. This thread is created for us to SUPPORT our perfect pair. I believe being positive at all times will bring the best outcome to the drama. I'm super proud that all the tricks reply team gave us last week only resulted in more and more adoration for Junghwan and Deoksun. No matter how demoralizing the scenes were, I believe a great shipper team is a team that can go through all the ups and downs with a positive mind. So my point is, WE ARE AWESOME

I got over my pain and now I'm laughing and feeling light as I read through our thread, and even in the MT.
(we don't even talk about the kiss scene anymore???? hahahahaha the confession scene broke us all XD)

We'll have to repeat what we did for the past two days yet again once the subs are out in a few hours.
I'm sorry for reminding you about it.

And for those who are feeling like they're losing hope, and felt like they were cheated and should've gone the other way..

Try to think hard as you can as to why you believed Junghwan is Deoksun's husband, don't even try to hunt for clues, for symbolisms, for parallelisms-- think about it yourself using your own capabilities and guts and wits-- you'll understand why you even shipped them in the first place. 

It's not yet the end, but we all have to deal with this ending, so if ever fate and timing and destiny are not on our side, let's keep our cool and think about the fun memories we had on this thread!

Today is the last Monday we'll ever wonder who Deoksun's husband would be.

I was re-watching E01-03 again yesterday I found clues that DS might already like JH from the start and vice versa. 

E01:

She sat beside JH and hit him when it is not even his fault (It was DR!). I think she is trying to get his attention. 

JH knee kick her on her butt to get her attention. You know, boys logic... They do annoying things just to get their crush's attention.

 

E02:

JH sneakily get out from his room upon hearing DS voice. Look at him taking chances to have a look at her. (Like he said... he wants to see her a dozen times a day)

DS showing off her "new" look to JH and expecting him to say that she looks pretty. (And how she dressed up when she tried to 'tackle' JH in the later date)

 

E03:

Why did she ask specifically JH to shut up before she dance? JH wasn't even saying anything at that point of time as he was reading a book. 

And we all know that JH (you cheeky little thing)... "12 midnight eh..."

I know 'Something Special' is the whisky name but why the crew use this specifically? Is JH/DS 'something special'? Or is it a foreshadowing of... you know... something special? As we all know... the alley scene. We know that JH was already in love with DS at this point of time... So choosing to hide in a narrow alley with little space to move... Is it even a good choice, Jung Hwan ah~ Really start of 'something special'.

Take a look at DS and JH face when they finally realised that they are very very close to each other... (ohhhh... the sexual tension!) 

Now take a look at JH face when DS bury her face on his chest... "What the hell is she doing?" face and why did DS bury her face on his chest? Are you that comfortable, DS eh? *cheeky face*

Uh oh, little brother is out... while DS continues to lay on JH's chest. You know that feeling... When a girl lays down on your chest... with her chest against your body... (Control JH, control!) 

And the scene where Omma Kim trying to hit DS and DS find shield by back-hugging JH... 

This is my favourite scene ever. I find it so cute that DS pops out from JH shoulder after he got his by her mum.

A couple or more  posts ago , I had agreed to the post  where @tituyphing had written how the  SCENE (EP.8)  in which the husband (KJH-2015) mentioning or rather teasing Noeul  about his looks and saying how he can now speak in banmal  with him ... IS MERE SARCASM AND NOT A "HUBBY HUNT CLUE"... Yeah ! That was just KJH being sarcastic and nothing at all. BUT, what I noticed in that particular SCENE is this .....

1) the hubby makes a "I-know-where -this -sibling-pampering- leading-to " sardonic pout/ face....

 

2) he mocks the "slight" wound on Noeul foot just to tease DS and NL about their mollycoddling ways... even to the extent of saying that the wound need a surgery to cure it......

 

NOW, get this ! It really does not matter whether the 2015- husband speak /spoke to NL in either banmal  or jondaemal ... What really matters is the demeanor of the husband towards NL...... KJH playfully bullies NL and DS by being all sarcastic . Irrespective to the years gone by or the past/present/future...... A person either has that innate "prickly demeanor" or does not at all..... no matter how much one tries to cultivate his/her demeanor over the years...... sarcasm has always been an innate emotion....

AND THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN ADHERE TO SUCH DEMEANOR IS .....

 

See how JH bullies NL into giving that  X'mas present to DS.......TA DA !!
