Can we talk about Junghwan keeping that picture of them in his wallet  that boy is beyond sprung. He's in love. It's no longer like, it's not a crush, he's not going to get over it anytime soon. Boy is in love. The wallet is such an intimate and personal place to keep a picture. I mean you take your wallet everywhere. It's always on you, always with you.... so much symbolism with him having it there. Can you imagine...every time he takes out some cash he can see her face, him and her, what they could be  I can see him at his desk in the early morning just taking it out and staring at her. Or when he's having a hard time in his studies, he goes for a breather by taking it out and looking at her face (kind of how he looks at the LMY sticker for strength LOL. She's his LMY). When he hasn't seen her all day because she no longer drops food by their house nor does she wake early to take the bus with him; he takes out his wallet and stares at her, and smiles, and acts a teenager in love  It's breaking me to think of the many times he has taken out that picture and just starred thinking and agonizing on her, him and her, and the whole tangled situation. It's so beautiful. When I got over myself and allowed myself to spazz (even Taekie could see the significance of such a thing. It's not missed on me that he carries his in his day planner  but it's something we're shown is not always with him? It's sometimes locked in the drawer?) anyways this poem came to mind

It's going to be a  long two weeks.  I hope the cast is at least getting some rest.  A few things I don't think Taek saw the date of the picture but with his quick memory he probably realized it was during the beginning of the year when DS invited everyone to go to a concert.  

I think I would be okay if they just started episode 17 in 1994 and show what happened through the years.  Honestly if it's more of JH sulking and doing nothing, I would rather see him do that in another time period for the sole purpose that we might  see some 1994 cameos.

I felt the same when I saw that picture in JH's wallet.  The boy has crossed over to the love stage.  During the days when doesn't see DS, he probably spends countless of hours staring at their picture and recalling one of the happiest moments in his life.

I don't know why but your sentence about Junghwan sulking in a different time period is cracking me up. It'll kill me (and l'd suggest you sue for creative idea rights) if ep 17 opens in 1994 with Junghwan staring out his apartment window heaving a deep sigh LOL. I wouldn't even care why he sighs but the fact that it's happening at all after this post would kill me. Ha. I would start to wonder if one netizen who wrote "I bet Junghwan doesn't have words on his script. I bet it's all in parenthesis that says [look at her sadly]"  wasn't lying. Then I would laugh and cry that 5 years later we are still in the same place LOL. 

I demand a scene of love lorn Junghwan starring at the picture in his wallet. Aww this makes me believe that adult snarky KJH, KJH keeps a pic of her and their hopeful family in his wallet and secretly enjoys pulling it out and bragging about his awesome famous wife and pretty daughter (I'm assuming she'll be pretty since everyone comments on Deok Sun's beauty).

sigh.....2 weeks I don't know how many more times I can watch 1-12 haha. I have no interest in other dramas  this one took all my will to watch a drama and stole it for good. BTW I have a confession lol I have never seen TOP GUN haha ofc I know the film and whos in it and what not but I have never watched it. Maybe I might just do that for JH eheh

Another confession over since I got into this drama I stopped going to the casino w/ my friend not like I'm addicted or anything but we would casually go on the wkns here and there for fun & I usually win, the last time I was there went with $100 my limit and came back with $500 but even now I am not hyped about winning free money!!!

On a positive note if I think the two weeks will go by like nothing maybe they just might? This whole yr already went by and I feel like I have not accomplished much.

Re-watching certain scenes from old eps, I really enjoy that scene after they come back from the trip and mom accidentally whacks Junghwan on the head with the back scratcher. Our Junghwan was going to loose his mind with Deok Sun back hugging him like that. It was just after the alley scene so I can't help but think he's trying so hard not to let something rise or even worse blow again. It leaves me in stitches how he can't even bring himself to touch her hands and pry her off. He just does not know what to do with himself and it's even funnier that Deok Sun has no idea of her effects on him and is just trying to avoid her mother. hahahahaha.

I am so curious as to what our Deok Sun will be in the future. I am not worried about the boys (sans Dong Ryeong) but her...she's a mystery. One (or both) of them obviously became famous enough to interview but doing what!?! I need more flash forward scenes of their now because I really just miss seeing their adult selves. Also did Taek see the date as we assume. He only pulls the picture up halfway (no date visible) then pulls it back down and places the wallet on the shelf (which is where it still is when Deok Sun comes in) why do we think he saw the date on it? 

Do you guys think episode 17 will start in 1994 (or whatever the time sip year will be)? I for one want them to open in the new era and just explain the important stuff as they go along and leave some things un-aswered. Yeah it's kind of cheap writing and a copout of having to resolve a lot of things. But we ain't got time for all of that. Skip forward and then really thy can show us if Taek and Sunwoo's mom got married or Bora and Sunwoo broke up or still together. We don't need to see every single thing of how we'll get to some places.

I really don't understand why JH halted his approaches towards DS after TK's said that he like DS.
I will may do that only for one reason. If I will think that woman who I love be more happy with someone else, but I will not give up, only wait for what happened.
Maybe JH do that same thing, I really dont know.
But waiting is really frustrating and watching my love with someone else really hurts, so I understand JH pain everytime he saw DS and TK together.

That's right. Just why didn't SW and DRnyong notice the changes on his face. I guess because they were focusing on Taek at that moment. Maybe boys don't really notice things like that. If they like a girl, they tell their friends. They don't do things quietly they actually talk.

Who knew Noeul could sing like an angel ?? The boy with the face of an ahjusshi...

The way I crazily go fangirling like a richard simmons loon over JH-DS , (not that I don't enjoy all the emotional topsy-turvy).  , but then I somehow fail to view little gems that PD-nim reveal with every episode.....

1) No eul , who we find  has a beautiful voice enough to get you all teary when he belts out a song at the competition...

2) Taek's appa who cares more about his son's happiness over his own and is so sweet to ask if Taek is okay with him being friendly to SW's omma ...indicating  chances of something more than a simple friendship happening....

3) DS's appa standing at the street corner to bid adieu to his eldest daughter with a bag full of medicines and things..... BR so takes after her dad... both are subtle in expressing their deep love towards the family...

4) Jung Bo .... who after falling in love with Man-ok... comes across as a guy who is so adorably romantic .. that you wish your bf would sit and make origami cranes just like JB......

5) And, Mi Ran... always THE WOMAN... in my eyes....I mean it would richard simmons guts to synchronize your dance moves to the blunder of the egg vendor's tape/song belting " "Eggs are here ! Come and get your eggs !"
