Which then led him to say "I will find you"? I don't know, I'm grasping at straws. But, hearing your dead lover crying voice over in the middle of the day is creepy.....

What for ? Just so Baek Ah can have a scene to recall about Woo Hee ? well she might as well be queen heonjeong ...one of WW daughters whom was believe to have or in fact had ...an affair with her uncle wook anjeong BA...together they had an illegitimate son ...Hyenjong of goryeo ...8 king of Goryeo...yeah the family tree is complicated

Just like we know this isn't the worst drama ending ever. After so many years, you know it has to be part of the 'formula'. Just like the 'modern' business women in telenovelas want to be taken seriously while wearing bandage dresses. The ice ball in our gut will lessen as we find another drama to make us crazy then disappoint us.

On top of them, their spent precious airtime on : Wook has a daughter named Bok Soon (Woo Hee's pseudo name told to Baek Ah) who has in possession Woo Hee's little silver piglet. What for ? Just so Baek Ah can have a scene to recall about Woo Hee ? omg I remember seeing a chart on tumblr about Baek-ah having an affair with one of Wook's daughters and their child becomes like the 8th king of Goryeo (I think). I think this scene was supposed to hint at that (he would have a happy-ish ending) but obviously as with everything in this drama, lack of time just made it wtf
Popular Post itzibitzispider
To be fair ... the actors DID a marvelous job Even thought we might dislike (or in my case hate) the ending, the performance was outstanding
bitofmadness
Before the finale, I never really put much thought into having a season 2. But with all these questions left unanswered, I DEMAND one or at least a mini-series/movie. And please maybe a different editing team too (no offence). Spoiler Please tell us why and how she ended up in bed and not drowning? Why her hair is black? Why is JM not a beggar anymore? Omg so many questions left unanswered. I can't.
Popular Post Immortal_Angel
What I believe Jimong presence is that Ha Jin thought everything was a dream a near death experience so she didn't believe it was not true and that it was something her mind was creating. When modern day Jimong appear, he kept staring at her and making sure that she understand that what she experience ins Goryeo was real not fake. He wants her to realize that it was not a dream and that there is somebody out there waiting for her. I believe Jimong wants Ha Jin to go search for present day WS so they can continue their story. He knows that their story didn't end jus like that and so their love story will continue in the next life even when she said she wants to forget them all, in the end, like Jimong said "life is full of circle" so in the end Ha Jin/Hae Soo will be involve in the princes life no matter what and probably every life time she meets a WS but was never met to be but probably in modern day its really meant to be.

Popular Post clarissasan
Honestly, this last episode made me feel warm inside. I love it, every second of it. Especially these heartwarming scene 1. when Hae Soo did all of her activity while thinking that Gwang Jong was there too with her, it really broke my heart yet it also healed at the same time :'') 2. when Jung took care of Hae Soo, their friendship is so strong, Jung's platonic love to Hae Soo is incredible, And all of the story of each characters are wrapped up quite well (not perfect but it's okay ), with all of them already move on from their past, start a new beginning with a new family, or a new career like Baek Ah. I cried so hard when 'My Dear Friend' song started and the memories came back to Hae Soo. It was so beautiful, I remember all of the feeling I had when watching the earlier episodes of this drama. It was so much fun I never thought it could ended tragically. I'm gonna say it again this final episode satisfied me. Although YES of course I want to see modern WS, but I'm satisfied with Go Ha Jin remembering him and crying with regret that she left him all alone in the past. My most favorite scene is the scene where we can see Gwang Jong all by himself (without anyone he could love anymore) looking at the palace, his achievement,. It felt so empty, so regretful, so dark, yet so satisfying. (Yes, Gwang Jong, please found Go Ha Jin in the future okay....??) And that last scene when Gwang Jong gave Hae Soo a piggyback ride.......ahhhhh.....such a heartwarming finale After a longggg time, I could finally smile again watching this drama in the final episode. (well, half smiling and half crying haha) Thank you for all of you guys, this thread is amazing!!! Thank you for all your updates, theories, they are all really interesting to read!! Never knew a drama could made us think so hard and feel so depressed like this And for the last, I want to say This drama is amazing and beyond what I expected!!!

roneddski
Maybe the last part is a subtle hint that WS did somehow transport to the modern timeline. Since he said that wherever HS is, he will find her. Just before leaving, JiMong had already revealed to him that HS could be someone from the future.. So with this new found realization, the eclipse(door to future) opens up at that moment to facilitate his time travel.. Maybe that eclipse opens up only when everyone has left you(since there is no point staying in Goryeo anymore!)... So knowing this, Ji Mong left first to meet GHJ at the exhibition.. and WS follows soon after! The part where WS touched his face and then revealed his scar.. symbolises that he will meet GHJ as the true original WS in the future, not the Gwangjong he became when he ascended the throne.

Episode 20 still cuts: Those piggyback pics, Hae Soo's hairstyle is in the same style as when she was still in palace. That's why I'm trying to convince myself that it will be a flashback or imagination either from Wang So / Gwangjong or Hae Soo... I don't want a crappy open-ending. I will be heartbroken if that piggyback is the ending scene of this final episode... I should've known not to say anything bad about something... why didn't I say something better 5 hours ago?????
