BTS member Jin shared a heartfelt letter for his parents and also sang a cover of Ra.D’s “Mom” as a gift for Parents’ Day. On May 8, Jin wrote through BTS’s official Twitter: “It’s Parents’ Day today. I did a cover song for Parents’ Day.” In the audio clip “Mom” on BTS’s blog, Jin sincerely sings out the lyrics of the touching song with his sweet and gentle voice. Also written in the blog post is a letter that reads, “Today is a day to be thankful to our parents. I’m a little nervous posting a cover song for the first time on a meaningful day like this. How about everyone get up right now and say a word of thanks to your parents! It’s great that I’m able to express my thanks in this way at the least.” He continued, “It’s really an honor to be able to cover such a good song. When I first heard this song, I was touched in an indescribable way. I would love to become a singer that can relay those same feelings to other people as well.
