Newsie
While Super Junior's Kangin is wrapped up in controversy regarding missed mandatory reserve military training, MBC's "Real Men" staff have expressed their stance. An MBC associate said on April 17, "Not every member goes into 'Real Men' each time. Depending on the unit, different members take part and Kangin was not going to participate in this round of filming regardless." They added, "Therefore, there will be no editing and whether he will be from the show will be discussed later." Kangin had been assigned to 72 hours of mandatory reserve military training in the last two years, however, he did not attend a single training session and was indicted without detention. He has been under fire in particular for being part of the "Real Men" cast, which is a variety show dealing with military experience.
