SHINee's Onew Looking Over New KBS Drama Starring Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo

It has been reported that SHINee’s Onew has eyes on the new KBS drama “The Descendant of the Sun,” for which actors Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have already confirmed!

An SM Entertainment representative stated to Newsen on April 13 that the SHINee member is positively looking over the scenario for the drama. If he takes the role, he will be playing the role of a young doctor.

“The Descendant of the Sun” is a human melodrama that reflects the values of life through the dreams of love and ambition of young soldiers and doctors living in extreme, foreign conditions.

The drama will be filmed both in Korea and internationally, and is set for premiere sometime in the latter half of this year, both in Korea and China.
