Hello willenette! I hope we will get to read news once again. But Kim PD is so secretive about the progress of TWSSG. Though I do hope that we’ll get some new photos by fans or news about his latest CF.

According to his managers Yong Joon can speak English. During AS shooting it was said that he always has with him his English instructor. I just don’t know if until today he’s still learning (I’ve a strong feeling that he still is ) . Even in his earlier years as an actor (especially in Hotelier) he’s been practicing the language. I just can’t remember when (it is in one of bb’s article) that he even went to the states to study.

Though I’ve heard him speak English in his dramas, I hope that one day I’ll hear him once again.

I remember when AS was about to be shown in Japan theaters, the local media were reporting the not so good box-office result in his homeland. However, the Jpn family really worked hard to support this movie including yours truly. I bought so many tickets and share some to my officemates, friends and relatives. It was the time when the odds were against YJ and AS. It was so amazing how groups of people do wonders like monitoring the theaters and disseminating information through the various sites. It was a wonderful experience for me and I feel good that I did something to support him. It’s a cause made out of love for this wonderful guy. As you all know, AS almost hit the 30 Million US dollars mark in Japan. It’s an example of, “you can never put a good man down”. The best weapon to tear down the enemies is to work hard for a unified cause. That’s why YJ calls us his “family”.

I always love the way she draws our yong joon without the nose and mouth I actually don’t have any idea how the story goes but as the title says there are 4 yong joon as brothers. (I hope Mariko can give us the gist of the story ) As you can see from this drawing, koshuka used yong joon’s characters in his dramas and movies as “guests” in her cute comics strips.

Therefore till this day, I still cannot believe in the public image of any TV star.

Maybe television has this distinctive quality in obscuring a person’s true charisma?

However, since I have met that person, I realize for the first time that I am lacking in learning to understand.

Yong Joon ssi first debuted in the TV drama Love Greetings, he played the role of a tender and earnest college student whose dream was to become a movie director. (jas: I thought YungMin wanted to become a writer? hee, think the reporters always mix up his roles in Love’s Greetings and Sunny Place of the Young.) His fresh face and clean-cut appearance elevated him to top star status overnight.

“I didn’t pay much attention to him then, because I was not keen in artistes with average, prim-and-proper looks with a gentle image. I didn’t even display any of his pictures on my office desk. I felt like for the type of people whom I could easily come across all the time on my way home, I needn’t bother to see that face again on my desk.

Senior : You’re still young, you won’t understand where his charisma lies. Have you seen Bae Yong Joon’s body? His physique figure is absolutely as beautiful as David’s, like a true masterpiece!! Mr K continued with his questions. “How do you see the movie stars of the 21st century?”

He responded, “I think nowadays a sense of reality is very important. Even though the media is also able to create and influence the image (of the stars), it can only work and be accepted by everyone if and only if there’s truth within the created image.

As for the scale of the entertainment network and reviews grows and develops, rather than relying on these network, the stars are better off creating an edge for themselves by building on their strengths and capabilities.

I’m not being pretentious, but instead, I truly feel it in my heart to want to reach out and communicate with my ‘family’. I think this is of utmost importance to me.” (jas: he’s so kind and caring to his family)

Mr K mentioned this at the end, “When his photo album was first published, everyone who saw Bae Yong Joon would be asking, “So how’s his body now?”

Judging from his facial appearance, he has resumed his usual gentle tender expression. As a man myself, he is the most perfect human being I’ve ever seen, both mentally and physically!!

okay, the older fans would probably remember that the japanese magazine AERA

had wuri yong joon on the cover in may 2004.

think they had interviewed him when he was there

on his maiden visit to japan in april 2004.

remember reading somewhere that was the first time AERA

had used a male celeb on its cover.

anyhow, a supplement to AERA was released in july that same year.

that special issue included a short passage written by the photographer

who had taken wuri yong joon's photos for the may cover.

it's a very interesting piece,

and japanese fan myonne had translated it into english

and posted it on quilt back then.

what's interesting was how the photographer had related

the almost uncanny resemblance between wuri yong joon

and the famous david sculpture by michelangelo.
