This note is dedicated to Bae Yong Joon. Hope this gift is not too small on his birthday this year which is supposed to be on 29th of this month. However, I am gonna be busy the next two week; that's why the plan goes earlier than expected of publishing this note Enjoy reading, sisters (I know it's too long =_= but can't shortening it)

I still remember clearly that evening, the twinkle eyes and warm killing smile of yours made my heart race unconsciously. I have never known that a man could be this awesome and elegant until I’ve seen you, and you unintentionally made me become a die-hard fan of Korean dramas until now. Without knowing anything about you, I have gradually become your fan. Those facial expressions; happy, sad and mischievous, I adore them all. You have become my internal strength, the strength that I have never had before. Why do I claim like this? Because no matter how unhappy or upset I am, I always smile at the sight of you. Every time  you smile, I do too. I remember vividly bragging to all my friends about you, telling them that you are my ideal man. As a result, every single one of my friends knows that I like you, and I’ve been teased a lot for that reason.



“Hotelier” is the first drama of yours that I’ve watched. It’s the first Korean drama that I’ve seen as well. All of those beautiful things in the dramas, from the actors/actresses to the background and sceneries, I could not see anything because all I could see was you. You were bright like a shining star, and it’s amazing that I could see the star even in the day light. Every gesture and speech that you portrayed, I’ve never gotten tired from looking at. It is like “to know you and not to like you” is impossible. There are many times that I wished I were Yoon Ah unnie in the drama. I thought that she was so lucky to be paired beside you. Do you know what my favorite scenes in this drama are? It is when you took her to the church and danced with her in the diamond villa. I still get excited while writing about how I felt when watching these two scenes. As a matter of fact, they were the perfect scenes in my perception as they were so romantic and loveable at the same time. 

 

The second drama is “Winter Sonata,” which still remains and maintains its position as my most favorite drama of all time. No dramas could ever replace this drama in my heart. Never! You have proven yourself as a great actor through this one, and you captured every lady’s heart like no one else. Who wouldn’t want a man like Joon Sang/Min Hyung? Who wouldn’t want Bae Yong Joon? My heart beats fast every time I watch this drama. It is the most emotional and sentimental drama that I’ve ever seen not to mention that you are a part of it. Joon Sang was a very quiet and lonely boy while Min Hyung was so energetic, optimistic and friendly. I think these two represent you in so many ways. Even though they have different personality, they also have many things in common such as devotion, honesty and consideration. I love how this drama brings out purity and innocence in love which is hard to find in this generation and society. It made me believe that true love does exist. I remember many touching lines from the drama, and I am going to share them to all the people who are reading this note right now.

·       Yoo Jin to Min Hyung: When you are in love, the best house is the one you build in each other’s heart.

·       Yoo Jin to Min Hyung: You have never truly loved anyone, have you? You don’t know what it’s like to have someone leave your side overnight, do you? Nothing changes except that person’s absence. Someone like you would never understand. Is it so wrong to feel the pain of losing someone?

·       Yoo Jin’s mom to Yoo Jin: All the time in the world cannot erase my memories. A person you bury in your heart, you can never forget.

·       Min Hyung to Yoo Jin: If you really like something, you cannot pinpoint the reason.

·       Min Hyung to Yoo Jin: Look! Look around. It’s so beautiful, but what do you see? You see only sad memories. How can you love someone if you shut your heart so tightly? Aren’t you the one who’s living in the Shadow Land?

·       Min Hyung to Yoo Jin: You said the other stars move with the changing seasons, but Polaris stays the same. Even if the others don’t understand you and leave your side; if I stay in the same place, can you find your way? Can you put your faith in me?

·       Look back with longing eyes and know that I will follow, lift me up in your love as a light wind lifts a swallow… Let our flight be far in the sun or blowing rain. But what if I heard my first love calling me again?

·       Yoo Jin to Min Hyung: Joon Sang is so bad. Forgetting me while he is alive. When I remember every little detail about him.

·       Yoo Jin to Min Hyung: I love you. I have until now, and I will continue to love you. Is that bad? Is it?

·       Yoo Jin to Min Hyung: It made my heart jumps with joy and sad and anxious as well. To me, they are the most precious memories.

 

                          

In one interview with Japanese TV you said “Most of recent cultures are something like stimulating, existential and fleeting   targeting young generation. “Winter Sonata” reminded us of something like purity, dedicated and passionate devotion that people had forgotten or almost lost in their life. I believe that “Winter Sonata” brings energy to live purely and passionately again. And I am happy that I could have such a valuable role. I think that is very important that the man can become pure.” 

Another speech which also moves my heart is “I do not have a dream to become an actor. I was very shy and didn’t have the confidence to act well. I originally wanted to become a movie director. I accidentally started acting because I needed to earn money for my overseas study of production. But since I have so many fans who always support me, I could not quit acting. I’m able to keep going on because of the responsibility to fans. Now ambition as an actor drives me to achieve. I’d like to show my various aspects; I started to think about playing meaningful role as “Winter Sonata” that triggered to strengthen mutual exchanges between Korea and Japan.” 

The third drama that I’ve watched is a historical drama called “The Legend/Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi.” I’ve been waiting for so long for you to come out and act again. I was so delighted to be able to see you as an actor once again, and it felt like yesterday that I started to become your fan. This one is different from the other two which are a romance and melodrama. I would want to be loved by Dong Hyuk, Joon Sang and Min Hyung. I would like to receive that kind of pure and faithful love from them and to be protected by them. In contrast, I feel differently about Damdeok. Maybe because you portrayed the characteristic of the king? I feel as it’s my duty to stay under your wings and follow your leads. Rather than the “Love,” it’s more of the “Respect” that I should give you since you are a much bigger person in terms of everything. You’ve never once made me disappointed in you from attitude to acting. It’s improving day by day since the last time I saw you, and I am very proud of that. You have once again shown yourself as an extraordinary actor who sacrificed himself for the sake of the drama. The information about you being injured on the filming site shocked the fans tremendously. I felt so sad and worried at the same time after hearing that news; it broke my heart. You are able to endure so many hardships to live up to fans’ expectation, and I could see that spirit in you. On the first episode when you taught Sae Oh how to use the fire energy from Jujak, I got goosebumps. I don’t know how to explain that feeling, but I just wanted to jump into that scene instead of her. That’s how I always feel!

After I anxiously have waited for you to come back to the screen for 4 years, I finally got to see you again in “Dream High.” This time, you show another side of you who is a much more mature person than the last ones. Rather than the actor, you have shown us that you are successful in taking another step up as a director which you have always dreamed to become. “Bae Yong Joon never stops! He always comes to us in a new way,” I remember reading about that in one article.

 

In the past 10 years, I have read many touching and wonderful articles about you. Besides being a great actor, you are a great entrepreneur, a great citizen and simply a great person. To me, you are perfect although I still believe the saying that “No one is perfect.” You’ve given love back to society in the form of donation and encouragement. You do not discriminate whether it’s your own nation or others; you help them without hesitation if they face difficulties. You’ve contributed a lot to the orphan centers, natural disaster victims, and also given so much help to cancer patients. I cannot describe enough about your kindness for words alone cannot demonstrate. 

  

Slowly I got to realize that I grow up liking you and you are more than an actor to me. You are someone like a big brother; that’s why I like to call you “Oppa,” someone who I want to be protected and cared by. You are someone like a teacher who I learn so many things from and give respect. You are someone like an idol (of course you are) who I feel proud of when uttering your name. Last but not least, you are a man who I keep longing for no matter how much time has passed; like one proverb said “One who has seen the ocean does not impress at the sight of the river.” And you are like the ocean to me while everyone else is just like the river. Öppa, I wish I could continue to call you like that regardless of times and ages. Maybe it’s a little bit funny when I have gray hair and still call you öppa, but I do prefer this word more than any other words out there. I like you not only because you are a wonderful actor, but also your down-to-earth personality which is hard to find in someone who is as famous as you are. I hope you could stay like that for the rest of your life, and I believe you could do it. I recall one interview when you were asked what you want to be in your next life, and you said you want to become a farmer. I could see the simple you in the famous BYJ, and that’s what makes me like you the most. Furthermore, I have faith that the man named Bae Yong Joon will be forever remembered as a perfect public figure and a role model in his fans' heart or simply known as “Family.”

Damsu, I was wondering about BYJssi pictures in Paris if they were recent, it's because he had a longer wavy hair compared to his photos recently taken when he attended the funeral of PD KIM for it was a little bit shorter and straight. (loujaie/judyannlou)

Oh I can see now Damsu, the pictures in Paris was taken sometime on April, that was 3 months ago before the death of PD KJH thus he had a longer hair at that time, so  when BYJssi visited PD Kim funeral he might had his hair cut. I really miss the Dam-Su couple. In fact my imagination ran fast upon viewing that videos  of the funeral, it seemed that BYJssi was looking behind his back, then the next guest shown was our dear princess, though my presumption that "maybe he heard those reporters talking about LJA was also present at that time and was behind him thus he looked backward" seemed vague, but it made me happy by just imagining it or having the possibility that the two met.

Dam-Su and Dear Baesiss!

It was so beautiful and so true what you wrote. I believe that we are the chosen ones who know the feeling.

It drives me a lot of things since I have been met Bae Yong Joon by his films and dramas, so I searched for the source to learn more about his life.

And I'm so happy that You can know that here in Hungary there are ones who love him.

I would like to show my first video for his birthday. This is the first one but I will make more. I hope you will like it.
