“Suspicious Partner” PD Has Nothing But Praise For Actor Ji Chang Wook

ji-chang-wook.jpg
It seems that actor Ji Chang Wook, who is starring in the upcoming SBS drama "Suspicious Partner," has already captured the hearts of the drama production’s staff members.

Although this is the actor’s first lead role in a romantic-comedy, PD Park Sun Ho praised the actor and said, “Ji Chang Wook went above and beyond my expectations with his portrayal of his character as a genius prosecutor. He is excellent at making subtle emotional shifts while filming and is very good at adjusting to other actors’ performances as well.”

The PD continued, “Ji Chang Wook’s gaze is incredible. I realize it even more with each close up shot that we film with him. For now, only the staff members and I have been able to appreciate it through the camera lens but, once the drama starts airing, viewers will fall for his authentic acting and deep gaze.”

PD Park Sun Ho also talked about what Ji Chang Wook was like on set and said, “I only asked for Ji Chang Wook to become comfortable with Nam Ji Hyun [as they are the main leads] but he has also become friends with all of the other actors on set as well,” complimenting his amicability and good nature, “Plus, he’s very well-mannered on set and creates a good, fun atmosphere for filming. This is why I am completely satisfied with the casting of Ji Chang Wook in this drama.”

10 Actors/Actresses that deliver with their perfect kiss scenes

9. Ji Chang Wook

The blanket kiss of 'The K2' has got to be, hands down, the 'it' kiss scene! Filled with butterflies in their tummies and blushing as the shuffle closely against each other, this kiss scene was the moment everyone was anticipating. Once they locked lips, they couldn't stop!

*** I'm so looking forward to this. This looks promising. This must be good. It looks like a heart-fluttering romance between the leads. I hope this will be a complete success. Also fingers crossed that this rom-com genre will hit all the right notes. Love the poster! It’s giving me an 80’s vibe. It looks like a Cinderella type story. JCW looks good in anything especially in casual wears. He looks so handsome as always and I am practically drooling looking at his photos from this upcoming drama.  Ji Chang-Wook is so damn fine in every single shot. May 10th come faster......... one more week to go!

*** Finally.............I was able to watch his movie, "Fabricated City" -  Although the story is a familiar one, I find this movie good. “Fabricated City” is a difficult film to describe since it is not really about online gaming. The plot develops in intriguing ways. I slowly pieced up all the scenes and figured out the whole picture. I can say that “Fabricated City is a fun action/thriller punctuated by exciting fight scenes, car chases, and more. As his first time on the Korean big screen, Ji Chang Wook is clearly in his element with action packed stunts that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. His character is absolutely easy to root for.

[Event] Ji Chang Wook attends the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards (image heavy)

l20170503-99002171658i1.jpeg?w=600

The 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards were held the evening of 3 May at the COEX Hall D in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.  Ji Chang Wook attended as one of the nominees for the Best New Actor-Male (Movie) category for his role in “Fabricated City.”

Unfortunately, it was not Ji Chang Wook’s night to take home the prize, as Ryu Jun Yeol won for his role in “The King.”  But although we were disappointed, we are still very proud of Wook even being nominated for the Baeksangs this year!  If anything, his appearance provided more than enough pretty pictures from the evening’s festivities.  Please enjoy!
