Ji Chang Wook showed up dressed respectfully in a black suit with a remembrance pin in honour of the death of the late Thai king.

Greeting the media, he spoke about visiting Thailand previously with his mother and he was very happy that she liked the place. He chose Pad Thai (stir-fried rice noodle) as his favourite Thai dish but he is currently on a diet. He was also happy to see the warm welcome that local fans gave him at the airport when he arrived.

He shared that he wishes to try acting in a melodrama these days. He also likes thrillers, but he has a stronger desire to do a melodrama for now. He enjoys the process of discussing and working with his co-star in romantic or melodramatic scenes.

Hello everyone,

Just dropping by to just say that I am very happy with what is happening to urri Wookie.  2016 is I think one of the best year in his career.  He has made 2 dramas (Whirlwind Girl 2 and The K2 plus a mini-web drama in one episode for Lotte Duty Free)  which I think were all garnered so much recognition and acceptance by fans all over the globe.   Meet his fans for at least 6 FMs/Concerts, Wow!  His popularity has skyrocketed since then.  He is now a Lotte Duty Free Ambassador and more CFs under his belt.  Not to mention the many IVs and magazine interviews he had the past year.  Coming in 2017 is a great year to start for him and his career as well.   He already has one very successful FM in Bangkok Thailand and finally his first full length movie Fabricated City is about to hit the SK cinemas on February 9.  I guess a lot more is happening to him before he really enlist to army this year.  Are you guys prepared for that?

Incidentally, for the past how many weeks I was busy writing an article for our Wookie as my way of fangirling ahaha.  I would like you guys to read the article if you have free time.  The title is "A Stalker's Guide to Ji Chang Wook published at mydramalist.

Actor Ji Chang Wook conveyed his desire to take on different genres and roles on “Entertainment Weekly.”

On the January 28 episode of the KBS2 show, the actor sat down for an interview ahead of the release of his film “Fabricated City.”

I plan to watch his new movie at CGV theatre in South California but I'm not so sure if I have time and energy for such a long drive. When can we expect to have his movie uploaded online? I hope his movie will do well .

JCW is considering another drama before enlisting. I'm really praying for an excellent script.

"All this while, there were many movies that fell apart."

dcnews2017-02

Ji Chang Wook is an actor whom we find more familiar to see him in dramas than in movies.  Although he has many hit dramas, the upcoming movie “Fabricated City” is his first starring movie.

Hi nploan I'm also hoping the same thing as you do.....I want to watch this movie & see again his action scenes in the film. Can't wait for February 9. Ye, I'm happy to know that there's a possibility that he could do 1-more drama before he enlists in the army since he mentioned this in an interview recently. I’m really crossing my fingers that this will be carried-out. Please rom com drama... Please do something out of your usual... Fighting, JCW!

Ji Chang Wook Says He Wants To Get Lasik Done To Ace His Physical Exam For Military

Ji-Chang-Wook

Actor Ji Chang Wook sat down for an interview recently on February 2 and said that his one and only plan from now on is “going to the military.”

The actor explained, “I’ve been working non-stop all this time. I feel like the military will give me time to recharge. When I took my physical exam, I got a third class rank for active duty due to my poor vision. If I get lasik surgery and retaking the test, I think I would most likely receive a first class rank. I want to experience a regulated lifestyle in the military and recharge as I rest (from dramas and films).”

Ji Chang Wook has been very active in various dramas, musicals, and films. Nevertheless, he said that “going to the military is a must.” He added, “My friends and people around me enlist, too, so I don’t feel regretful or anything.”

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook has landed his first lead role in the film “Fabricated City.” About this, he said, “[Since this is my first lead role in a film], I don’t know anything about what makes a movie successful or its ‘ticket power.’ I think it’s all up to the audience to decide. But what I do know is that I don’t lack confidence. While I am confident, it is true that I am lacking in ways since this is my first time. However, I believe this will actually be an advantage because the audience will be able to experience something new without any expectations.”

“Fabricated City” will premiere in South Korea on February 9.

Oh come on!  Join us - I'm making the trek down the coast to the CGV Koreatown for the 17 February premiere!

And who knows when it will go online in *ahem* legal portals.  CJ Entertainment has been going all nuclear on illegal uploaders ever since Suzy's movie bombed at the box office.  FabCity will be available on DVD before long.

All this time i read updates about him from SNS and media news. I have watched some of his dramas such as "Warrior Baek Dong Soo", "The Five Fingers", "Healer" and "theK2".
