DoDo Cheng was one of the most famous and popular artistes from Hong Kong in the 80s and 90s. She has a huge fan base in the  Mandarin and Cantonese entertainment industry.

Tickets for Ji Chang Wook’s Beijing concert are now available for purchase. 

Details are as follows:

Date and time: 23 January 2016, 7.30pm
Venue: Beijing Exhibition Centre Theatre (北京展览馆剧场)
Address: No. 135, Xizhimenwai Avenue, Xicheng District, Beijing, China (北京市西城区西直门外大街135号)

 

Built in 1954, the Beijing Exhibition Centre with a Soviet-era design was China’s first major multi-purpose exhibition area and was personally named by China’s famous leaders, Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. The theatre was initially an open-air space that was converted into an indoor theatre and is used to host cultural shows such as ballet and choir performances. The hall has around 2,700 seats spread across 43 rows.

Ticket sales have already started on Damai. Tickets are priced at 280 yuan, 480 yuan, 880 yuan and 1280 yuan (all prices listed in Chinese Renminbi).

@raito1310 Thanks for the pics and vids...Is this the complete song line-up? I wish someone would be kind enough to translate what he said when he sang "Law of Happiness". Did he miss some of the lines and ad-libbed through it? He's really good, and the Chinese fans love him!!! I thought at first he will sing in mandarin for the whole duration of the concert, and that must be very very difficult. Anyway, congrats to him for another successful gig!

hmm if the public fan meet is at 5pm, wondering what time is the private fan meet? What do you guys think? before or after?

I am so anxious, I really hope to win the fan meet tickets but I already got two other events I need to attend on the 6th, I am so hoping the timing wont clash otherwise my family is going to be so upset that I am going to ditch them for JCW. ottoke? hope they inform the winners soon. Please pray I get to go to the private fan meet.

I just realised why they invited him to Singapore because Empress Ki is being shown on the local free to air tv, twice a week over the weekends. They are up to ep 16 now. U can tell how long I never watch dramas on my local tv. haha.

My only teeny complaint is that Wook needs to work on his 'stage presence' a bit more.  I was cringing seeing him hang on to the mic stand for dear life during some of the more up-tempo songs.  And I would have DIED DEAD if he would have taken on the rap part in "Father."  But what's done is done.  Hopefully he'll watch some of the videos and make corrections for the other shows in January.
