*** According to the OSEN report on June 14th, the filming for Netflix’s hit series Squid Game has wrapped, with both Season 2 and Season 3 set for sequential release. The cast and crew recently concluded filming the new seasons, which spanned 11 months from July last year to June this year. They enjoyed a two-day wrap party in Gapyeong, featuring water sports and a barbecue. OSEN exclusively reported that Seasons 2 and 3 were being filmed simultaneously. Both seasons were shot back-to-back. Ohhh................. it’s like filming one long story and splitting it into Seasons 2 and 3. Season 2 of Squid Game will consist of six episodes, with Season 3 expected to have a similar count of six to seven episodes. The gap between the two seasons won’t be long. Speculation is rampant about what to expect in Season 2, that there will be more intense games than in Season 1. Whether this will come true remains to be seen. The new season is expected to premiere in the second half of this year.   :heart3:

*** This thread has been quiet..... No news about Im Siwan except for "Squid Game 2" so far. I've watched his (2) last movies, Road to Boston and even Emergency Declaration. The latter unfortunately, failed to captivate viewers and ended up selling only 2 million tickets although it needed 5 million tickets to reach the break-even point. Maybe because the script was too old and boring that even Lee Byung Hun's excellent acting couldn’t save it. Sigh....  :kaching3:

Below is our selection of K-dramas that take viewers outside of Seoul, showcasing the beauty of Korea beyond its famed capital city.

Based on a popular webtoon of the same title, “Summer Strike” is a romance series featuring people who leave the busy city for a beautiful seaside village named Angok. It stars K-pop stars-turned-actors Im Si-wan of ZE:A and Seolhyun (formerly of AOA).

*** In the first half of this year, dramas on terrestrial channels were more successful than OTT programs. As such, OTT is planning to counterattack by introducing masterpieces in the second half of this year. Targeting not only Korean fans but also global viewers, OTT works are lining up for release on holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The most anticipated drama is Season 2 of Netflix’s “Squid Game. As Season 1 created a syndrome worldwide, viewers are expecting Season 2, which will premiere around Christmas, to also be successful. Now, sequels of successful dramas are being released consecutively.   :heart2:
