Gwanhaegun reign for 15 years, although he was initially buried in Jeju-do but in 1643,  according to his last will, he was move to the present site (Namyangju, Gwanghaegun Myo, 남양주 광해군묘) that he wish to buried at the down-right side of his mother Royal Noble Consort of Gongbin of Kim clan tomb, in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. Gwanghaegun is buried together with his Queen, Queen Munseong (she died in Ganghwa Island in 1623, was initially buried in Yangju then move to join her husband at the present site in 1643). Gwanghaegun had a Royal Tomb (myo) befitting of his Princedom rank not King

"Do you happen to know whats the year is in this coming episode.. "

My "bet" will be around 1618, ....where the Ming Envoy goes rally support for being "sympathetic" towards Queen Dowager Inmok, as they need Joseon military support for the Liaodong campaign against the Manchu

At this moment, Gwanghaegun "sitting on the fence" is not sitting well with the Ming

Manchu declare war against the Ming in May 1618 with a manifesto of "the 7 Grievances". Manchu occupied cities in Liaodong like Fushun & Qianhe then in 1619, Manchu attack Yehe to provoke the Ming. In retaliation, a year later, April 1619, decided to dispatch massive expeditionary forces led by Yang Hao which included the Koreans

Battle of Sarhu was fought in the April 1619. The victory went to the Manchus

"...but I was never aware of a dispose king couldn't receive recognition that other kings..."

Look at the example King Richard the III of England (Plantagent), Henry Tudor depose him & he was killed in the Battle of Bosworth Field & was buried without any ceremony at Greyfriars Abbey. In 2012, in an archaeological excavation in a council carpark in Leicester which was the former site of Greyfriars Abbey, Richard the III remains was found, in March 2015, reburial with the pompous ceremony of a King's burial in Leicester Cathedral

He was also portrayed as a tyrannical ruler in his play, King Richard III, William Shakespeare who wrote the play during the Tudors era, the succeeding Royal Household after the Plantagent but modern historian scholars have pointed to evidence that Richard III was a successful leader

At least Gwanghaegun died in 1641 , was buried in a Royal tomb in 1643, Richard the III had to wait 530 years for his

@gerrytan8063  ohhhhh ok…thank you for being our translator and guide to ancient Korean culture!  If there was an "Insightful" button, I would have clicked it for all your posts…Thanks again!!!  If you don't mind me asking, why did JW look forlorn/sad when HY was leaving?  Was she intending to leave the bureau/him for good?  Did he realize his feelings for her?
