Yeo Jin Goo Shows Off His Charismatic Charms in Latest Vogue Pictorial

Actor Yeo Jin Goo recently did a Vogue photo shoot and looks as charming as ever as he poses in a lush forest.

Sticking to darker, autumn tones, his outfits blend in with the beautiful forest while accentuating his facial features.

In addition to the pictorial, the actor did an interview where he discussed his upcoming film “The Long Way Home.” In this film, he turns into a young North Korean who learns to grow up through facing hardships in his life.

Yeo Jin Goo, who usually spends a long amount of time analyzing and getting into character for his new roles, said, “This project was very unique to me. [The director] didn’t tell me to analyze my character. He told me, ‘Do as you please.’ There were no set rules for this project, which confused me.”

The actor even revealed that he took satoori (regional dialect) lessons to get his dialect right for the film but was not fully ready when shooting began. He reflected, “If I focused on getting my dialect right, I thought I would forget the atmosphere of the film. I was quite stuck on what to do.”

“The Long Way Home” is set to premiere in September.

Actor Sol Kyung Gu revealed that there is something different in the production schedule for a film when it stars Yeo Jin Goo.

On the September 9 broadcast of SBS‘s “One Night of TV Entertainment,” Sol Kyung Gu and Yeo Jin Goo, who co-star in the movie “The Western Front,” are reached for an interview.

Sol Kyung Gu reveals, “The funniest and freshest thing about this movie was Yeo Jin Goo.” To much laughter, he explains, “When I got the schedule, it said, ‘Yeo Jin Goo’s midterm exams’ and ‘Yeo Jin Goo’s final exams.’”

In the making film that was revealed, Sol Kyung Gu is seen yelling to Yeo Jin Goo who is leaving the set, “Bye, Young Kwang! Good luck on your finals!” allowing us to peek into their great relationship and what’s it is like to have a 18-year old high school student on set.

Yeo Jin Goo Shares Thoughtful Reflections on His Acting Career

Popular young actor Yeo Jin Goo referred to himself as a ‘lucky child,’ emphasizing that he is very satisfied with his acting career.

Ahead of the release of his new movie “The Western Front,” Yeo Jin Goo gave an interview with news outlet Star News.

Starting as a child actor and having grown into a high school senior now, Yeo Jin Goo said, “I think I’m very lucky. I’ve done work that I love since I was young, and I’m so happy because I am doing something I love, and I’m getting attention and love for it.”

The young and mature actor then said, “When I see my friends, a lot of them can’t do what they want to do for a number of reasons. I think I have a lot of luck. I’ve never regretted acting from a young age.”

Yeo Jin Goo said, “I don’t lack anything huge compared to my friends at school. I go on field trips and although I can’t attend school all the time, my friends are usually the ones who are jealous of me.” However, he added, “But I do have some regrets about my teens as opposed to my school experience. This will be the last year that I will be able to build memories with my friends during my teen years.”

The talented actor will be applying to university and plans on studying theatre and film. He described the typical experience for a university applicant, saying, “I was taking a headshot for my application and I was so nervous. I thought I was used to being in front of the camera, but my face still stiffened up. I’ll wish upon the Chuseok full moon that I will get into university. I think all high school seniors will be making the same wish.”

Meanwhile, Yeo Jin Goo’s “The Western Front” is a human drama between South and North Korean soldiers who encounter each other due to a secret document three days before the end of the Korean War.

Actor Yeo Jin Goo appeared on September 19′s episode of “My Little Television” as contestant Kim Gura‘s secret weapon!

Kim Gura won the competition last time, and he’s gearing for the win again this week. Since his section is all about movies, he invites young star Yeo Jin Goo as one of his guests to talk about his upcoming film.

Yeo Jin Goo stars in the Korean War film “Western Front” with Seol Kyung Gu. As Kim Gura and his guests chat about the movie and Yeo Jin Goo’s success, Kim Gura asks Yeo Jin Goo how many people he expects will go see it.

“There have been a lot of films lately that have sold over 10 million tickets,” says Yeo Jin Goo, “but I don’t expect that.”

“However, because of the same syllable in my name and Seol Kyung Gu’s, I expect there will be 9.99 million tickets sold,” he jokes. The number nine can be pronounced as “goo” (alternatively written as “gu”) in Korean.

“Western Front” will be hitting theaters on September 24.
