Model-actors Lee Jong Suk and Kim Young Kwang reveal their thoughts on being reunited in 'Pinocchio'

Lee Jong Suk and Kim Young Kwang revealed their thoughts on being reunited after their appearance in the movie 'Hot Young Bloods'. Both Model-turned-actors attended a recent press conference for the new SBS drama 'Pinocchio' held on November 6.

Lee Jong Suk said, "During 'Hot Young Bloods', I got hit a lot [by him]. Every time we met, I got hit. When I heard that Kim Young Kwang hyung got cast while talking with the director, the first response I had was 'hul'.

He continued, "When I was a model, I wasn't close with him, but I thought that he was a much better person than I thought he was as I started working with him [in the movie].

When Lee Jong Suk was asked about other model-turned-actors, he humbly revealed that he is no different than any other of his peers. He said, "It's because I started before them, but there is nothing I'm particularly better at. I was in a couple more works than they are, but that's about it."

Kim Young Kwang then responded apologetically, "I wasn't close with Lee Jong Suk while I was modeling... but in the movie 'Hot Young Bloods', I took on the role of someone who hit others a lot. We got closer then, but we haven't filmed together in 'Pinocchio' yet. When I went into the meeting, I heard that Lee Jong Suk told the writer to put in a scene where I get hit too. I guess he was hurting a bit inside. I want to take this moment to say sorry.

Meanwhile, 'Pinocchio' will be premiering on November 12!

PSH almost always has rumors about her costars after the dramas... To date, I like her best with Jang Geum Suk.  I think they're well suited.  However, it'll be interesting to see how their chemy works out.  I think they have some.  Maybe she's finally grown up... as an actress.
I was speaking with my korean exchange parnter last night.  She's a big drama fan, and so we were discussing the new dramas and PSH in particular.  She said that PSH is really popular amongst the men, but not nearly so much amongst the women.  It's mostly the way she speaks... I GUESS from what I understand, the way she talks is a little juvenile..... not sure, that's what she said.
Anyways, she knows that I'm a crazy LJS fan, and she thinks that it's really funny.  Who knows, but interesting is as intersting does.  He may be a doll... super handsome, but honestly, it's his acting.  It gets me every time.  Every time... except maybe 'Sympathy.'  Anyways, it's interesting..........
I do agree with what someone said, 'Dal Po definitely has a thing for In Na.'  I'll second or third that.   Here's awaitin' 6 days to go?! :D

Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk

K-drama fans started shipping Park Shin Hye and her co-star Lee Jong Suk as soon as their casting was announced for the upcoming SBS drama "Pinocchio."

And Lee Jong Suk's recent statements have done little to discourage fans from daydreaming about the relationship the actors might have in real life. The sincere way they complimented each other at the drama's recent press conference has fans drawing hearts containing the stars' names.

Apparently they really enjoy working together. When asked about his co-star, Lee Jong Suk said, "She is lovely. Really."

And he is not shy about letting her know it.

"When I filmed scenes with Park Shi Hye, I told her she was pretty," said Lee Jong Suk. "Then she said that it was just lip service. But I said she was pretty because she actually is pretty."

Viewers who meet the actress in person are often surprised by how naturally glamorous and self-poised she is. But that may be because viewers have watched her grow up on screen. They may expect her to be insecure like her character in "You're Beautiful" or very shy like her character in "Flower Boys Next Door."

She's glamorous but she's also modest, relayed Lee Jong Suk, because she refused to believe she was pretty.

"She kept telling me to stop lying, but I think she is lovely enough to be loved," he said.

When Park Shin Hye was asked about Lee Jong Suk, she said that he was "cool." She agreed with what Lee Bo Young said about him when they worked together on the paranormal courtroom thriller 'I Hear Your Voice."

Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk had a close younger brother-older sister relationship on the drama set. And when the drama ended she invited him to her wedding with actor Ji Sung.

"I watched an interview that Lee Bo Young did," said Park Shin Hye. "I remember she complimented him and said he was 'so lovely.' He has great manners too. I think Lee Jong Suk contributes a lot to the good atmosphere on set. He must be tired too but he helps sustain a level of energy. I am enjoying the filming because of him."

She plays Choi In Ha, a young reporter who cannot tell a lie or she starts violently hiccupping. He plays her eventual love interest, the unfashionable but talented reporter Choi Dal Po. And according to Park Shin Hye the two have some chemistry.

"My heart would flutter from time to time when I saw a cool side of Dal Po," she said. "I think that the camera will translate that chemistry well."

I actually don't have a problem this time thinking how she will click with her partner,i guess the work will be more on how her character will be molded and how the romance will progress, seem them both in pictorials and videos of it and they look amazing together and they look close already so it's way more easy now ...i remember wanting to see them as a drama couple after seeing them together looking so good and now there i have it!!!! :)>- so besides Jong Suk being his usual self,a gentleman no wonder he is so relaxed around her, actually both of them look more relaxed,it is a plus knowing each other from before and maybe even being friends so it is a big plus, now the ball is in the writer area and how will she manage the romance and her characters...i really hope that the writer will continue to make the same witty female characetrs like in her past project because i really want to see Shin Hye with one of that...i think it's about time for her to step out of her molded female roles, hope this will be the one,the witty refreshing one!I was right about Min Jong Guk small cameo, seems it will be in ep 2 and In Ha will dream of him as her being the public defender...curious who will also make a cameo till the end of the show...if i'm not wrong i also think they put a small pun with Dal Po hearing voices jajja

Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk are the perfect pair in new behind-the-scenes stills. The two actors appear to be the best of friends in the latest photos of the stars acting as Dal Po and In Na. They are all smiles while the camera films pivotal scenes from early episodes of Pinocchio.

In the three photos released by MBC today, they seem to be holding in giggles as Park playfully reaches toward Lee, and he reaches out to touch her face.

Their chemistry is undeniable, and the production team recently told the press they are the best team. “Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye are nicknamed the endorphins of the set for creating a friendly atmosphere. They set an example as the best acting team. They brought joy to the set from the first day of filming."

Pinocchio surrounds the life of young reporters at a broadcasting station. Park's character In Na can't lie without developing a severe case of hiccups. It premieres on November 12.
