Hi @Gerry58 guess I'll give last nights (& maybe tonight as well ) episode a miss if KMJ only appeared for few seconds. I briefly went to the drama forum and how right you are, everybody is talking about the 'hug' between LYO and JS. It also said that there will be 'sweet moments' between the two leads tonight. Over the weekend, I watched the old drama Triple because of the two second leads Lee Han Nah and the actor from JTBC drama- Last. I like LJJ too but I kind of got turned off with Oppa-dongsaeng plot for now (Anyway, they did not end up together, but the second leads did,so that was good). That's what I see with JH and PSD, just feeling a bit off from that pairing at the moment.

No, should watch it for YHM, will just do some fast forwarding then. LOL!!

Uri Wooyoung-ah is turning into an Ahjusshi @chic-chic, LOL! He really is very consistent with his 99% satisfaction with life. He is doing these pictorials with his 2PM brothers - only? I guess, he feels there is no need for him to do that. He is a musician, after all. And besides, his done them all when he was younger and 'single'. These two, Park Seyoung and him are really two peas in a pod. Sweet and low key

KMJ  is wounded by background/boss and untruthful love, and i think she has this defense mechanism, either to fool herself or make like she recovered her dignity and validate her Asst Prof  title, and she therefore comes across as a female LYO, haughty and sarcastic.   

I think too that she might implode if she cannot be real with someone.  Who better than HSJ who is imploding as well.  She has to make first move, with genuine concern as his situation is far more urgent.  In the process they help each other heal, even as colleagues and friends, lovers may be asking a lot unless over many episodes. 

 This would expand her role considerably,  and redeem herself, both for her own sake (as KMJ), and in the eyes of viewers.     This, without even touching the main leads,  although  leads will be somwehat affected as both had a past relationship & huge crush,  with KMJ and HSJ respectively.      Can I be scriptwriter now LOL!!!!!

In dramaland, to the empathetic LYO,a personality like JS will create a miracle to someone like him. But in the real world, that is so not the case.

A bit of story sharing.I had a client, with long-term history of mental health issues, we closely monitored for seven years with medication, diet and support system. Stable. One morning, she came to see me and said, she hasn't been sleeping in the last three nights. For this person to approach me and expressed her anxiety was good and sounded the alarm bells. The client and family fully cooperated with intensive treatment (non-invasive) for three long months. Though a sliver of expected outcome was reached, it was still trial and error and things can still turn the opposite direction. 

I moved jobs since and met up with old colleagues recently. We tend to ask how some of our clients are doing. I was told that the person we knew is completely gone. It really made me sad.

It would be unrealistic if LYO miraculously got emotions because of JS.  Maybe as a calming mechanism, an ally.   A cure?  No.  Drama can't do this kind of thing, or I will facepalm, what??   

Recalling Good Doctor (Joowon),  functioning autistic savant, pediatric resident.  Falling in love is one thing, it may have been inspiring, but that does not change his condition.

Hi everyone I too notice a lot of mention of jinsung in drama thread. I suspect it is media play to repair her image cos some knetz blame her for the poor rating. Suddenly there are so many comments (I believe are fake cos a lot of people don't even watch any of her dramas or movies) saying how pretty and good she is. Anyway I don't care, just don't keep bashing kmj. Luckily there are a few Sy's fans in that forum. 

I finished episode 9 even though kmj appeared briefly. The very fact she felt uncomfortable seeing Dr Lee with Jinsung and that she kept the ring shows she loves him from the beginning. She just exposed him cos she felt used by everyone, think she will regret, hopefully she will help him. Don't want kmj to be the bitchy, jealous 2nd lead always out to sabo. Please let her redeem herself by helping Dr Lee but not end up romantically with him cos I know OTP always end up together. The writer please do a better job of developing KMJ's role (@hazeljrr_c922 I also vote for u to be scriptwriter) or I won't watch any more drama from him/her. Very disappointed with KMJ's role, even some people are saying it is like supporting rather than 2nd lead.

In MDGSW- ohs has a lot of screen time, sy has beautiful clothes to wear, even loveline with do sang woo. Even though the story wasn't great, at least I see lots of Sy's photos and bts. 

Sorry for the long post- just fed up. 

Wy and sy must have agreement to keep low profile. That's why both seldom seen unless for project/drama promotion. 

By the way the new couple in Wgm went ice skating- don't watch wgm anymore, just saw the photo. This goes to show YY couple is the most popular- all their activities got copied, think only octopus hunting haven't been done but who knows?

Episode 9 is good cos it shows the beginning how Dr Lee came to be adopted. Very sorry for elder Dr Lee cos he operated on him out of kindness and his own son died. His wife is wrong to blame him cos doctors are always busy saving lives but maybe the reason to show why he got no wife. Very shocking to find out old Dr Lee causes the boy's condition by mistake. Wow his acting is very good. This episode also focus on the patients and the doctors- how Dr Lee manage to save the rich patient using an expensive method and getting her to donate and sponsor the poor ones.

Hope they continue to focus on what's happening in the hospital and not try to imitate doctors and show cheesy moments between the 2 leads. Yes u all are right, she cannot cure him, maybe help him manage his  anger/ violent moments

Just finished watching Ep 9. Gee, how some viewers exaggerate the hug scene between LYO and GJS, thought he was already falling in love with her. Except for that brief KMJ and HSJ's part, it was okay. Shame on those doctors, they don't seem to have a lot of patients and spend time gossiping, what a waste of time. Wish they have those scenes spent on PSY and YHM instead,expounding on their characters or a love line perhaps? Love the older Dr. Lee's acting. Now we know the back history. He caused irreversible damage to the young LYO post operation. Raising him was partly due to his guilt as well and redeem himself. With his son's death and wife leaving him, he devoted his life trying to minimise the damage with therapy. A project, sadly for him. Hence, he was so against LYO to be a doctor, when he saw that he is way smarter than he thought. With the appearance of an old colleague/friend of the older Dr. Lee, the plot just gets thicker.

@hazeljrr_c922 the contrast in personality between JW and JH in their dramas. JW in Good Doctor, genius, autistic yet lovable and subservient personality. JH in BM, genius, arrogant, appears stoic with violent tendencies (damn good-looking, though , meaning HOT!) but I'd rather go for JW's character any given day. PSY said differently in her recent interview though, she will embrace LYO's personality. Personally, it will be too tiresome having to deal with a LYO everyday. But, it's most likely due to my nature of work, I've seen them all.

@Gerry58 with sexual assault cases left and right, thank God Wooyoung is shying away from these sexy photo shoots. They are an easy target from these women obsessed of hooking up with celebrities. I wonder if a group of people are behind this, like a syndicate. A sad reality in this modern world, there are high profile escort services everywhere who caters exclusively to well-off clients. The manner of operation is getting these women go to where the rich and famous hang out. These women are high maintenance too. And Seoul isn't devoid of one.

BM have touched a very sensitive issue about patient choices. But unfortunately, lung cancer with brain metastasis (spreading to the brain) is irreversible. No matter what treatment they will undergo. My boss's husband is in the same condition. He was granted by the state government to acces this very expensive drug ($1,500 each dose) after an appeal she made. It has improved his physical condition but recently, he developed immunity after 5 months of use. Now, he is undergoing another drug trial that requires for them to fly to the eastern states every two weeks for treatment. Being in the medical field, my boss knows the reality but she told me, it is better than the other option.So she'll continue to fight on.

@standingtallyy- BM too many characters and too much time wasted on unimportant stuff. Monster has 3 pretty actresses and I average looking falling in love with the male lead. BM only has 1 and not fully utilize. Story wise bm is still good cos it touches on a lot of interesting topics- eg rich getting best medical help etc. Just very disappointed with episode 9, sy just passing through. Even the nurse got more screen time. We see how tonight, don't want to say too much.

Joo won's character in good doctor also didn't go with moon chae won right? In reality, very hard to have a relationship with people with emotional problems. 

I just did my yearly checkup and my doc says 1 in 3 person will get cancer. It is the no 1 killer, worst than diabetes. Very scary, also very expensive treatment, can drain one's finance unless got insurance. 

Yes I also worry about wy,  he is so sociable and likes to go out. Hopefully he is old enough to know what to do. Just pray 2pm stay scandal free till they enlist and come back safely after military.

As  Jun.K fan I cried, so good looking! I mean honestly I liked him because of his personality and his voice at first, I wouldn't mind if he has a tummy on him but dang!!!

On GOT7, they should be fine. Though I have problems with a few Americans who commented in this actually. Any Americans here? You should hear me out. I have problems with Americans pointing out how Asians in Asia are ignorant about American culture when our priority in culture and history is not on America. If we don't know it, excuse us, we are not American. Bambam saying it is wrong but people forget that he's not American, Bambam is a South East Asian, meaning its highly likely that he wasn't educated about the N-word. Even when he apologized people still said the apology is not sincere. They needed more poetic apology from a kid with limited English vocabulary. I pity the kid really, he is wrong but doesn't deserve all that hate and death threats. On Yugyeom drinking, I seriously doubt the LA police would arrest a kid who drinks and gets drunk without causing any problems. His case is even more overreaction.

I'm also quite glad 2PM aren't swayed by hip hop culture, every Asian that goes with hip hop always somehow ends up offending someone.
