I just finished the first two ep of BM
and I have to say this is the first decent medical korean drama I seen till now
more like the american ones 
and have to admit that I completely in love with jang hyuk
he is a strong capable and very sexy actor (currently serching for his other dramas,any recommendations?!)
the only thing that bother me is seyoung little screen time
but the fact that she is the second lead the same as YHM who have much screen time 
I think she will have her share sooner or later
so ,I'm very in love with this drama can't wait for the next ep 
and BTW the other competing drama should be alarmed coz BM is no joke

@amera46- bm is very good right? I recommend to my hubby and he said it is better than signal cos he didn't fell asleep. There are many good comments on dramabean now, of course the usual nasty comments from rival group cos they are afraid of competition. Hopefully they will increase Sy's screen time cos she is so pretty (my hubby even say she is prettier here than GD).

Jang hyuk has always been good. I recommend his dramas like Chuno (must watch- he won acting award), thank you (old drama-he plays a doc), deep rooted tree (historical), fated to love u (rom-com), iris 2 (action), robber (romance). His movies- I recommend- The client- very good, he plays a murderer

The drama is very good indeed. Aside from the thriller/mystery aspect they really focus on the medical side. There are only few Korean drama that had a  focus on this. Jang Hyuk fits the role. I can't imagine Lee Jong Suk being the lead. I think that's the reason he turned it down. It may be hard for him to give justice on the role. But it would be great if he had a reunion with Seyoung though if he's the lead haha. I also see now why the production staff really wants PSD. 

The nasty comments are from the actress' fans. They've been doing that ever since. I hope the rating of BM increases. I hope the low rating would not discourage the staff and the artists.I just wish as international fans can contribute. I also wish there is more screen time for Seyoung. I want to see how she and the doctor formed their relationship since the doctor can't feel any emotions. I also want her to be in the operating room hehe. 

Off topic: I was reading SNSD Tiffany's interview and she mentioned that she had fallen for  a bad guy. The only relationship she had that I knew was with Khun haha. So Khun is a bad boy then haha.

@chic-chic - think a lot of actors turn down the role of Dr Lee knowing that it is a difficult role, not only act bad but a bit crazy too. They know they can't deliver, then knetz will criticize.

Was reading from dramabean- very happy more people are watching bm now cos so many good comments. Most not aware of this drama cos less publicity - hopefully Kbs do something cos they won't want to lose to competitor. 

Off topic- think khun is the one to break off, that's why she said that. Most probably he will get a Thai gf in future when he quit from being an idol.

The comments about the drama were so good. Viewers were so impressed with the story line and acting. Hope this continues. 

Regarding Khun, what's funny is that Khun admitted he is a bad boy in the previous articles based on his magazine interview.  He said it's boring just to be nice. This is before Tiffany's article was released hehe. I remember when 2PM was on Strong Heart. They said that Nichkhun has this innocent image but in reality he likes to play around whereas Wooyoung is the actual innocent but looks as if he's the one playing around. 

Just too bad that Wooyoung rarely do magazine interviews alone  unlike Khun and Chan. Seyoung too rarely appears in a magazine. It would be great if we can match what they say and articles released the same time.

@chic-chic- ya I saw khun and chansung recent magazine interviews, was wondering why wy don't have. Maybe he afraid he say the wrong things. Wy now not so innocent cos he is always out with friends.

Hopefully their 'bad' isn't going to those undesirable places like that actor pyc who ruin his image.

I am also wondering why WY doesn't have one. Fans love Wooyoung in Korea and they are really hungry for an appearance from him. Some fans are even frustrated because of his non appearance.  He may be receiving offers but refused them. I agree he may say a lot of things that may reveal his relationship haha. Since 2pm is an older group, they are already in that stage that they can do what they want. I remembered JYP stated in an interview that after the three year contract, his artists will have control on their careers.

It may be the JYP female artists whose doing good in charts but income is still coming mostly from 2PM. Female groups and solo artists don't have concerts but only appearances on some shows and small fan meetings which is not generating much income. I like the last statement of the photo you shared @Gerry58. 2PM are no longer simply K-Pop idols but artists. I totally agree with this. It would take few more years for the other JYP idols to be considered this. I am not even sure if GOT7 will reach this stage. 

There was an article before about bad behaviors of 2PM members. This was when they were rookies. But it was never proven true. The "bad " from them is definitely not like PYC. Even it's not true due to articles about him, his career in Korea is over.

@chic-chic and @Gerry58 An exclusive interview for Wooyoung would be great! Asked about family, career and marriage. No need to  ask about his ideal type as he already laid it all out. You are right, he will just reveal himself too much that's why he is not into magazine interviews.

I'm glad BM is getting good reviews, because so far it's been impressive. So, LJS, KSH and YAI were offered this role. They made the right decision. All three maybe the current 'it' actors but I don't think they have the depth compared to Jang Hyuk's acting, which of course comes with experience. But they should have challenged themselves too by getting out of their comfort zones, proving that they are not just pretty boys.

I wish the scene of PSY proudly wearing the necklace given by Wooyoung will be shown next week. I bet, our Wooyoung will be so proud seeing that after all this time on national tv. I thought it was sweet of Seyoung wearing it in one of her dramas. I mean, I don't think she is short of accessories to use, right? I am taking it is an unofficial announcement to all YY supporters that they are together! I can imagine the taunts from Wooyoung's 2PM brothers would be non-stop!

Off-topic: I am glad Nickhun's is not the 'nice' guy as everyone pictures him to be. Glad he is just a typical man of his age, who likes to socialise and enjoy clean fun. That PYC is in a deep mess. True or not, he should have stayed away from those places to begin with.

Where can I watch SY's drama? Having a longer weekend so might as well try watching SY's drama.

Khunnie, well he's not the angel everyone thinks but he's not the gangsta bad guy either. He's just a guy. I think that is what Khun has always try to tell the press.I doubt it was Nichkhun Tiffany was talking about and the topic was not even on a serious note. Tiffany is promoting her single, Heartbreak Hotel which is in fact a song about a bad boy.

2PM are artists and I also think Wonder Girls are artists too. Are 2PM and WG still idols? Not really, as least to me. They are the two groups that doesn't do a lot of idol-y stuff anymore. Constant fan meetings, events, variety guests are not generated into their schedules anymore. The two groups re-construct their image again without turning the concept JYP gave them. There are fans that is saddened by what appears to be JYP pushing a lot more on Got7 than 2PM but like I have said in my blog, there is no fault in 2PM starting to be less than a 24/7 idols and Got7 taking over their place as the generating idols in the company. 2PM can't forever be constant idols that is shipped everywhere for idol events.

That being said, I think all idols themselves are artists as well. Wooyoung discussed this before, how idols are often separated from being artists and their hard work are always dismissed just because they are idols. He really wanted to change that perception. Got7 JB actually shocked the Singapore press once. He calmly counters a difficult question about how Korean Idols are seen as only pretty faces with no talent and impressed the Singapore press with his answer. He said calmly that they are also artists and singers who have a certain degree of self esteem in them, they have pride in that and they work hard to perfect their performance. This particular trait in JB is what I see in Wooyoung when he talks about idols who are always separated from genuine artists. Idols are also artists. No question about that.

I also think JYP has set a medium in the company where a lot of their idols can produce a lot of music. Park Jinyoung had wrote a lot of songs for 2PM, WG and the rest of the idols but he had admit that writing for the young idols is not the same as he did writing "Mother" for G.O.D where the song was based on Joon's personal experience. Park Jinyoung said because of the age gap he has limited conversations with the younger idols and couldn't really write based on the young's experience. In 2011 they signed a lot of young composer and sound engineers, all around the age of the idols from 2PM to Twice's age. And they all mingle, the composers and the artists are at the age where they can talk about things and create music together. They are all artists.
