"The Heirs" breaks through 20%

SBS "The Heirs" finally made it to 20%.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 29th, the sixteenth episode of "The Heirs" rated 21.1%. This is 1.3% more than the previous episode.

Cha Eun-sang (Park Sin-hye) left Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) as she was pressured to do so by Kim Nam-yoon (Jeong Dong-hwan).

Kim Tan noticed she was about to leave and showed her how much he cared about her with a kiss.

When she left, he cried in silence and in pain.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV "Pretty Boy" rated 4.3% and MBC "Medical Top Team" rated 5.1%.

I just finished the epi on viki with eng subs and my Lord... it was even more intense... can't hold back the tears but I need to sleep to look decent for my students' graduation photo...aissh T.T this is so not fair... (

Anyways... YoungDo is indeed very smart he felt instinctively that EunSang is saying her goodbyes to him and to Tan as well... Oh how I wish he put a tail on her or bugged her phone or something... I need spoilers pleaaaase... KT and YD should have combined their vindictive little brains and come up with a plan to protect EunSang from Daddy Kim... hmmm...  Watcha gonna do now Tan-ah? I think he isn't the type to kneel forever I hope he soon will strike back and teach his father a lesson about love, family and loyalty...  can't wait for some BTS goodness and of course a preview.

I feel so emotionally exhausted... it's almost 2 am here... Good night/morning/day! for all of you...  :-h

Welp, I just watched episode 16, and I seriously have no words. I just sat there with tears in my eyes at the end, I could barely move. Now I just want to drink my glass of wine and go to sleep. KES what have you done to my life? What am I supposed to do until next week Wednesday?
LMH, seriously what is wrong with you? Who have you been practicing your kissing on? Why are you so good at it? I have watched all your dramas but why do you cry differently in every one of them. Your heartfelt tears are different for every single character you play, none of your crying scenes are the same for your dramas? How in the world is that possible? Guys, I have so many questions, so many feels. We have some great actors and actresses in this drama LMH and PSH, Kim Sung Ryoung, Jeong Dong Hwan, Kim Mi-Kyung, CJH, KWB, LJE, KJW, Kang Ha Neul, KMH, Park Jun Keum, Park Hyung Sik, Jeon Soo Jin, I hope I didn't miss anyone, you all did a great job. Our leads though… awesome job.

Wow Heirs Hits the 20 mark in TnMS. Happy for the rating =D> but super sad because we only have 4 episodes left. ( I will miss KT&ES/LMH-PSH, LB&CY, YD&MS, Rachel&HS and the adults once this drama ends. :x

Let me just say that I love that KES made it to where the nice guy got the girl. Yes, YD was very charismatic, witty, and had good chemistry with PSH, however, he was also a jerk and an a hole, who was only concerned about what he wanted, and revenge. In K Dramas we always had leads who were A-holes, who treated the female less than the second lead did. We are so used to the second lead being the one to be nice to the girl from the beginning, only for him to lose the girl in the end to the egotistical first lead.
What KES did was give us a male lead who was basically a second lead on paper, and she knew she had to get someone like LMH to play him, because she knew she wrote the second lead more interestingly. KWB came out strong, as the well dressed, charismatic second lead, cloaked in first lead clothing. He was immaculately dressed, uniquely nice to look at and interesting. She put him up against LMH, who was dressed in some awful clothing, and she played down his looks imo, made him introspective, passive and basically a wimp for those he loved. She knew if she used any other actor, YD would have no competition, and she knew if she had wrote KT in a dynamic way and had styled KT on par with YD that there would be no competition as well. This is the genius of KES, as she knew things had to be well balanced. She knew she HAD to hire a charismatic actor for people to love YD, and SHE KNEW she had to hire someone like LMH for KT, otherwise nooone would give this basically second lead character posing as first lead material a chance. Hats off to her, because this proves that she knows what she is doing, and is great at hiring the right actors for the right roles.

After a quick dip back into the teens, SBS’ The Heirs shot back up 21.1 percent, reigning number one once again. 

MBC’s Medical Top Team ranked second at a low 5.1 percent, while KBS’ Pretty Boy drooped even lower at 4.3 percent. 

It seems that all eyes are on The Heirs at the moment with the next chapter into the drama now open. 

Meanwhile, tvN’s Let’s Eat kicked off at 1.349 percent, a good number to begin with for a cable drama. So far, the drama has received good reviews about the food porn and the sad, yet relatable story of living alone.
