...agree on Tazza. chuno's storyline is actually interesting..just that it had terrible pacing and towards the end the story quality went down a lot..but it did start very well I thought. And we can't hate Chuno much since that drama gave us Daegil and a Daesang hehe.

I didn't watch QSD either though I liked Dae Jang Geum 5 years ago. Actually my favorite Hyuk drama is still Thank You...I wish he'd get a chance to work with writer Lee Kyung Hee again..now Thank You that was a good script with good acting and the right directing.

o-cha, the Chuno story was fine and of course the Dae Gil character was a great one, esp. portrayed by our boy, but the script was not good. The slave storyline was played up too much, given way too much emphasis; the DG/UN story was messed up...there were plenty of missteps, the way I saw it...would we have been watching had the DG role been taken by a lesser and less-talented actor? I wouldn't...

So I just gotta hope this one will be different...but...I am not going to bet much money on it. I'll just keep my fingers crossed!!!!

Hyukie coming to Spore for Midas?

Who knows, maybe theres some new cable tv in Spore that will air Midas the same time as Korea.

Wow, a new drama in the pipeline when hes still filming the current one. But then again, we'll never know how true it is until they started filming...

Hyukie just arrived in Spore a short while ago...Whatever hes promoting here definitely has got to do with SPE networks. At least thats what the banner said

Saw from Zoi's blog on Hyukie's manager twitter pic of Ritz Carlton Singapore. Looks like some event going on there. Its so strange that SPE Network get Hyuk in from Korea amongst his busy schedule, but so far, theres no news no sound Even the collaboration between SBS & SPE networks, I can only find news on launching of a new channel on Malaysian cable tv.

Manager Kwon posts pics now and then, but I have yet to see him include Hyuk, probably because it really wouldn't be too appropriate...he's a big star now. He does include others, including himself and the hairdresser! Check out the pics below, especially the hairdresser with the big can of Elnett on the table! This cracked me up. He must keep it handy at all times!!!

Also read from Zoi's blog that (from Hyukie's manager's twitter I think) the team supporting Hyukie has not been sleeping much for the past few days due to the crazy filming schedule. Must be tough on them as well. No wonder he looks like he had shed quite a few pounds.

I was quite surprised that hes actually pretty small size in person, compared to what we see on screen. Nonetheless, his well trained body is still visible from the tight fitting t-shirt

Yes Jen, he is really slim and small in person! Dun be deceived by the pix of him with his hairdresser, I conclude that the hairdresser must be very short and small.

Oh I am so excited that Midas is filming in Singapore. It make sense now, since everything is so low key. Singapore is a financial hub and Midas is about Finance. Omo, I am so excited about the show now!!!!

thanks girls! I just came back from Las Vegas last night so a bit behind on Hyuk's news.

Ahh so he's already in Singapore now. Oooh it is for filming? Wonder why they have to go to S'pore for filming. I thought Hyuk's manager wrote it's for promotion. Unless it's for both?

Now speaking about another drama 'Deep Rooted Tree'...I've been reading that this will possibly be a 50 episode sageuk. Not surprising for sageuk..but gosh I don't think Hyukie has ever been in a drama with that many episodes. Buuut I guess we'll wait and see for further news about this...which I think we won't hear much until after Midas?

Heard that in Midas, the sister of Hyuk's character has some Singapore working background? So maybe they are there for some background story. Since this is the beginning of the filming, it seems believable.

I must say, this Midas seems to be shooting quite early for Korean drama? Probably this Singapore/Malaysia scene will appear in the first few eps/trailers.

Deep rooted Tree: Yeah, I think they are just attaching Hyuk's name to move the project forward, but will have to see how it goes. Usually it is rare for a big name like Hyuk to have two dramas in a year? I cant recall this happening, unless they come off a hit project but then it usually applies to newer actors (e.g. Kim Bum in Dream after Flowers of over Boys, Yoon Sang Hyun in My fair lady after QSD).

Welcome back o-cha! Did you have any luck in the casinos

I don't have hi hope that Hyuk'll take on a 50 ep drama of Deep Root. Hyuk's agent in China leaks that they're having something going on for Hyuk in China. They would not say it's a drama or a movie.

Jen:Did you see Hyuk in person? Did you go to the airport? Any pics? It makes all the sense now that Hyuk's in Singapore for 3 days on locations for Midas. I just hope he will have some rests.

Yup, I went wanting to see how he looks like in person

Its an exciting experience. Because there's not many people, so its pretty easy to see him at a really close distance. I know I'm being greedy, sure wish he took his sunglasses. Too bad I didn't manage to take any photos

Been eyeing the papers & news on tv, hmm, no news so far. Are they going to reserve the news coverage until Midas is aired in Feb I wonder...

The lucky Malaysian and Singapore fans got to see some preview of Midas first hand. I find Hyuk is very amusing saying he actually sings pretty good but tried very hard singing very badly in Midas. We all know how good a singer you are
