Btw, I was surprised she didn't attend attend SHJ's wedding. I also thought they were friends. I wonder if there are more wedding photos released? The ones I have seen only featured the male celebs who were there.

@koreanlite...just wondering, are you currently in Korea? You are so right about that plastic surgery issue...though i don't have exact proof..the the possibility of HJW having done any is sooooooo slim...even by just that one fact you said---she got hit numerous times in the face while filming Miracle in 1st street. No one in their right mind would actually agree to that---with a plastic face :-))

@cynder there are no news about Ha Ji Won attending Northcape event. About SHJ wedding, there are no photos about Ha Ji Won but i think it's weird that she wasn't invited, maybe she was busy  :-?
I can't wait to see her in the Golf Tournament, and maybe 28th june she will have a party for her 35th birthday, and hope that The Huntress will finally be released!  [-O< Ha Ji Won is always so quiet, i would like if she used twitter and update us more!

@cynder... nope, im not in korea. Yeah, if one had a plastic face, getting hit would be a big no. ) I remember I have an aunt who did some surgery on her nose and when we were kids, every time she played with us, she would tell us to avoid hitting her face. ) and a friend told me that "plastic" faces tend to deform at the slightest provocation. So those who have done it have to do it all over again, hence the addiction. Ha ji won's beauty is enhanced by excellent make-up but I never believe she has plastic surgery. And she exercises a lot too, doing all that action stuff. And she has a warm and pleasing personality that really makes her most lovely and beautiful. I think I have never seen any other korean actress who laughs as much as she does.

Kim Myung Min may not be the best looking guy, but he is indeed a great actor! It was too difficult to portray the role of a dying man who's suffering from the incurable Lou Gehrig's Disease. He was so immersed into the role that he really lost so much weight for it. I even remember Ha Ji Won crying because she felt bad seeing her actor partner suffering so much like that. On the other hand, Ha Ji Won was also excellent as always. Closer to Heaven, one of the best melodramatic movies with best actor, best actress, and even best director! =D>

@minnie0103, closer to heaven is my most favorite ha ji won movie. she's so good in this film, as well as, kim myung min. it had taken me a long time to move on. i kept thinking of ji soo like she really existed. i wondered how she managed to live on. i have watched this movie more than once. the story was so simple but so heartbreaking.

@koreanlite I agree 100%! Both of them were so great in that movie. Ha Ji Won's portrayal of Lee Ji Soo was so daring and fantastic! It was not easy to be a funeral director and a wife who needed to take care of her dying husband at the same time. It was tough for both the husband who was suffering and the wife who had to do everything. 
Come to think of it, if the story was real, life was too cruel for Ji Soo. She got a divorce twice because her previous husbands couldn't stand her job as a funeral director. She didn't get any compensation from both. Then, after a few years, she met an old friend, and they realized that they loved each other and decided to get married. Ji Soo was lucky to finally find the man who would truly loved her and Jong Woo was also lucky to have such a caring and loving wife. But the thing was, even if it was finally her true love, the man had to leave her soon. And again, Ji Soo was alone at the end. If it was real, I wonder how would Ji Soo move on with her life? It was too heartbreaking and painful. =((  
I really have high respect for both Kim Myung Min and Ha Ji Won. Indeed, they are the Best Actor and Best Actress in 2009. What makes Closer to Heaven my favorite K-movie of all time - meaningful story, great acting, and the cinematography!  =D>
