All In (올인) creators Choi Wan Kyu (scripwriter) and Yoo Chul Yong (PD) are back with another drama entitled Swallow the Sun. With Choi Wan Kyu's solid story line and PD Yoo's powerful directing, the 2003 drama All In was a major hit which made Lee Byung Hun and Song Hye Kyo hallyu stars.

In the drama All In, Ji Sung played Choi Jung Won, a model student who comes from a rich family, but is tempted into doing mischievous deeds when he meets Kim In Ha (Lee Byung Hun). In Swallow the Sun, Ji Sung (New Heart) teams up with Sung Yuri (Hong Gil Dong).

My thanks to eling, Woundedheart and Willenette for all the sharing and keeping up this thread.

Does anyone know where in Las Vegas they filmed? By looking at the pictures, I can't tell which hotel/location it might be.

Maybe these were taken in South Africa.

Just wondering...

Ji Sung and Sung Yuri are heading to Las Vegas for the latest shoots of their upcoming SBS drama Swallow the Sun [태양을 삼켜라] (aka the All In sequel).

The actors and crew left Korea for the States on June 16, and plan to shoot there for approximately two weeks. This is the drama's second overseas location shoot, following their end-of-March trip to Johannesburg, South Africa.

In the drama, Sung Yuri plays a successful international concert/event planner, whose first job comes as part of the planning team at Vegas' Cirque Du Soleil show. Co-stars Yoo Oh-sung and Lee Wan also traveled to the Vegas shoot, where all four characters meet and begin their "intertwining fates."

Swallow the Sun is planning for 24 episodes and follows City Hall on Wednesdays and Thursdays in July.

Been wondering where they might film and based on past K-dramas filmed in LV, I'm thinking they might film at either Paris or the Venetian.

I believe they filmed All In at the Venetian. I don't think they would be on the campus of UNLV for this drama, but then again you never know.

Of course, there might be filming on the Strip aka Las Vegas Boulevard, but they might film in the early morning hours .... so....

The only other properties I would venture to guess would be Caesars Palace, Bellagio or MGM.

Mandalay Bay might provide an exotic backdrop too.

And of course -the desert - perhaps on those lonely roads that head out to Los Angeles or Utah.

IF anyone gets a hint or clue, please share here.

thanks!

Been trying to convince some friends to get together this weekend and check out the casinos.

Maybe we'll be lucky enough to see JS and crew filming in a casino or around town. :sweatingbullets:

Happy Weekend Everyone!! B)

Thanks cjoey for the pictures.

I believe the last pic was taken at the Bellagio's "O" theatre lobby. Richard Macdonald has his art being shown in the Bellagio Gallery.

OK, I'm there.
