I'm a bit surprised by GM - how can he ask a girl whom he has only just met to marry him? I can understand that NG is secretly in love with him, probably because she had been told by her own father that she will be married off to him (that's why she learnt Korean language) but for him to fall in love with her so suddenly is a bit too hasty, no?  /:)

I supposed they must have met when they were kids, 8 years ago.

NG took an interest in him and decided to learn Goryeo language to speak freely with him.

During those 8 years, her feelings must have grown deeper and deeper by days.

And for GM, i think it was quite normal at the time to ask someone in marriage after a first meet.

Some people were married according to their parents without taking their children's opinions. They would saw each other formally one or two times only before their marriage.

And pre-marital relation were seen wrongly at the time.

So if you were able to meet someone you are interested in, you would propose to him quickly.

So here, GM finds a Goryeo friend for the first time. Someone with whom he can talk freely and release his worry. So obviously he took a liking for her.

And considering he was forced to marry the yuan princess, he wanted at least to marry the one he loves.

CY was very protective of ES here.  He was always making sure that ES was ok even if he himself was suffering from pain from his operation.  He actually went down to the Royal Hospital to check up on her. :x

I like this scene of CY peeking through the door to watch ES.  I think he is observing her as a woman for the first time.  He is slightly shocked when she raises her pants to expose her leg.  He is also intrigued by her and how she acts.  ES is pretty straightforward compared to the women of the Goryeo period.

CY is taking a look at his wound, which is bleeding now. 

DM interrupts him, telling him he's demanded by the King.

CY is annoyed and give a strong tape on DM's head.

DM then take notices of CY's bandage filled with blood.

I just realized that the OST Moon of the Princess was playing early on in this drama.  This was supposed to be the theme of Gongmin and Noguk but they also used it for CY and ES towards the end of the drama.  This also became One Piece's "Because its You".  

Right ? That's cheating !! They took NG's theme song and gave it to CY&ES, when they already have a lots of songs destined to them. LOL

GM is being informed that KC must have killed all the ministers on his side before his arrival.

 JIS and CY discuss whether it's possible to attack KC and get rid of him.

JIS want to send an army but CY is against the idea since KC controls all the remained ministers included the one who controls the military resources.

JIS throw a tantrum but GM says that the only one he really trust is CY, since he (almost) gave up his life to follow his order (to prevent Heaven Doctor to go back to her world).

CY is kind of embarrassed at his words and gives him a letter from the precedent king, telling that his last mission would be to accompany the King and the Queen to the Palace safely. After then, he could take his retreat and leave the Palace.

GM says bewildered and hurt : "in this situation, in this time, you're going to let me alone and abandon me?"

Dolchi told the king, JIS and CY that the officials that suppose to greet them & loyal to them died at the same day from poisoning.
JIS then told CY to assemble the wooldachi and have those traitor seized immediately and kill them anyone who resist
CY just stand there. doing nothing
until the king ask is it possible and CY answer it's impossible
because the lose in number

JIS keep telling the king that he can't trust CY who know nothing except how to wield a sword
but the king just said that beneath the heaven the only person he could trust was CY
and he already proven that with his life so start from now on he will treat CY as his friend who he trust.
suddenly CY look confused and give the king a letter from the previous king that explain that his final mission is escorting the king from Yuan to Goryeo and then he could resign and leave the palace

We skip to the Woodalchi searching for proofs of the ministers' murder, while CY is sitting on the ground and remembering the next of his conversation with GM.

GM gave him a last order, to find who killed the ministers. Who he has to fight and why. Then he will consider letting him free.

the king ask him if he would abondon him in this kind of situation
but CY still want to leave
the wooldachi were searching something while CY just sit there.
he remember how the king told him that after he finish the task that he give him he would consider CY request to leave. CY keep telling the king that the previous king already give permission but the King just ask him whose order will he obey the previous king or the current king

the king ask him to find the evidence about the minister whose been poisoned
who is responsible, the reason they did it and tell him who he need to fight against and why he need to fight. and this is the duty from the present king for CY to fulfill
..Oo that's what the wooldachi have been searching an evidence
Choong suk ask CY if he's feeling alright and ask him to rest

The Woodalchi found a letter with blood on it, but CY doesn't quite believe that it is genuine.

He goes to KC's banquet with CS.

CS speaks first and yells for silence : "PRINCE KC !! PLEASE ACCEPT THE ORDER FROM THE KING !!!"

Everyone stops to talk and KC stand up and walk forward him with a pleasant smile.

Then CY steps in and tells with a slight smile, that KC was given the first order by the The King after his come back (he came back from Yuan after 10 years!)

CY's voice becomes gradually strong and yells : "So as you were in front of the King, YOU SHOULD KNEEL AND BOW TO THE GROUND, following the manners of a subject to His King."

The mood in the room change radically.

CY walks closely to him and bend to talk in his ear that they should go in a quiet place to talk.

KC looks at him with surprise before regaining his composure, laughing like a crazy man.

It's GC's place. there's a party inside.
Chong suk enter and yell 'it's an imperial decree'
but no one listen to him. CY who enter behind Chong suk just watch everything
while Chong suk finally Yell once again and they start to listen
