[MAX MOVIE]
Actors Jung Woo-sung and Hyun Bin have teamed up for 'Made in Korea', directed by Woo Min-ho. This is Director Woo's first time directing a drama series.

'Made in Korea' (written by Park Eun-kyo and Park Joon-seok), which will be released as a Disney+ original series next year, is a story about Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), who has ambitions for wealth and power, and Jang Gun-young (Jung Woo-sung), a prosecutor who gives up everything to stop him, facing a huge incident that transcends the era in the turbulent 1970s. It is known that the story is about drugs.

'Made in Korea', which depicts the turbulent lives of monstrous humans born in a rough era, is raising expectations as the first series directed by Woo Min-ho, who has shown an outstanding perspective on reading modern Korean history through the films 'Inside Men' and 'The Man Standing Next'.

Above all, it is noteworthy that the director, lead actors, and production company are all key figures who have worked together consistently to garner favorable reviews from audiences and achieve dazzling results.

Hive Media Corp, which is in charge of production, is a film company that has worked with Director Woo Min-ho on four films, from “Insiders” to “Drug King” and “Harbin,” which will be released in December. It also has a special relationship with Jung Woo-sung and Hyun Bin. Jung Woo-sung achieved success with 13.12 million viewers with “Spring in Seoul,” directed by Kim Sung-soo, which was released by the film company in November last year. Hyun Bin is waiting for the audience’s evaluation after working with Director Woo and the production company through “Harbin,” which tells the story of Ahn Jung-geun.

The actors who joined 'Made in Korea' with such strong trust are also attempting to transform their acting.

Hyun Bin takes on the role of Baek Ki-tae, who runs toward success with ambitions for wealth and power, and takes on another unique challenge following the period drama 'Harbin'. Jung Woo-sung takes on the role of Jang Geon-yeong, a prosecutor with animalistic instincts and a fearsome obsession. Following his previous lead role in 'The King', he takes on the role of a prosecutor again, but it is stimulating curiosity about what kind of character he will portray in different stories and situations.

In addition to these, the cast includes Won Ji-an, who gained attention for her role in the Netflix original series 'DP', as lobbyist Choi Yu-ji, Seo Eun-soo as investigator Oh Ye-jin, Jo Yeo-jeong as Bae Geum-ji, and Jeong Seong-il as chief of staff Cheon Seok-joong.

Meanwhile, 'Made in Korea' is also drawing attention as a series produced by Hive Media Corp, which has been consistently producing well-made hit films recently.

Hive Media Corp, which led the mobilization of 1.77 million viewers with 'Handsome Guys', which was released in June and was considered a successful case of remake, as well as 'Spring in Seoul', is also preparing to release director Heo Jin-ho's film 'An Ordinary Family' in October. This is the second series to be released after the drama 'A Good Man' starring Lee Dong-wook, which will air on JTBC starting in December.

[SINGLE LIST]
Pernod Ricard Korea has opened a pop-up store for the modern classic Scotch whiskey brand Valentine's, 'Valentine's Hour Lounge', at IFC Mall in Yeouido.

It will run from the 30th to September 13th. In particular, on the 30th, the first day of the pop-up store opening, actor Hyun Bin, who is the exclusive model, will visit to commemorate the launch of Valentine's Day's new campaign, making it an even more special time.

At the center of the pop-up scene is a sensory lounge where you can enjoy Ballantine’s single malt Glenburgie (hereinafter referred to as Glenburgie). Glenburgie is the key malt that plays a key role in Ballantine’s whiskey blending and is called the ‘heart of Ballantine.’

It is a product widely loved by whiskey beginners and enthusiasts for its soft taste and aroma, and the sweet flavor unique to Valentine. You can enter the pop-up lounge after completing adult verification, and you can taste Glenburgie in various ways as if you were in an actual whiskey bar, following the guidance of the bartender located in the center of the main building.

The spaces, decorated with the themes of Glenburgie 12, 15, and 18, are filled with diverse programs that you can enjoy with friends, such as picture matching games and dice games. There is also a ‘Heritage Zone’ where you can feel the quality and tradition of the Valentine brand, and an ‘Artist Collaboration Zone’ where limited edition Chuseok packages created in collaboration with Korean painter Ham Bo-kyung are on display.

Limited edition Chuseok package products are available for purchase on-site, and you can purchase bottles engraved with your name or message.

On the same day, a campaign video starring Hyun Bin will also be released. This campaign video contains the message of reminiscing about time spent with precious people under the slogan, “Time never waits for us.”

This campaign emphasizes the importance of focusing on the 'present moment' by expanding the meaning of the unique slogan of the Valentine brand, 'Time for us to deepen'. It contains a relatable message that we should no longer postpone the promise of 'let's meet sometime' that all Koreans have made, and meet up with our loved ones right now.
