That's not dictatorship. For a mod to enter a thread that serves no purpose other than to: (1) repeatedly say "oh Soompi sucks" (2) attack a moderator who comes on to welcome you/ bid you adieu (3) request special treatment.....................................................................And say to everyone  "roll out then mofos"?

It's called, crash-acclimating a bunch of users with an entitlement complex and letting them know this site is not 6theory and they can either enjoy Soompi or leave. That nobody is forcing them to stay if they don't like it.

I'm embarrassed by majority of 6theory user comments in here. Like a parent who taught their kid zero manners and watches in horror as they walk into someone else's home and prop their feet and muddy sneakers on someone else's coffee table. 

6theory was lax yes, but not in the way you seem to be. You are a Soompi member, defending people dumping on your forum. Good luck with the 6theory kids if they do indeed choose to migrate here. They will eat you all alive if you are this beatnik and you won't know what hit you. I'm not saying pull out a ban hammer. I'm saying, have some respect for your forum, have some conviction and let them know early.

Well, it's their opinion if they think "soompi sucks". I'm sure Soompi and their staff would like to know more about why it "sucks". If the person keeps complaining about Soompi but he's still always here complaining about it, then he's the one who's gonna look stupid... He's free to not return here, ya know? So if he crosses the line and yet he's still here? I'm sure he needs help and the Soompi mods would gladly escort him to the exit called "banned". Cuz obviously, he needed help to get out of his misery, right?

Bashing on the mod? The mod took it well... She explained it well too. Took it like a man. A REAL man. But if the kid still doesn't get it and keeps bashing the mod repeatedly, then it's a GREAT reason to clean the dirt and block the person from repeating it cuz he clearly has a problem.

I'd say, only kids get butthurt and will overreact and etc... including a mod who would limit people's opinions (thank goodness we don't have that here). Yes people gotta appreciate us welcoming you guys here. But we like honest opinions. Look at 6theory's admin, from what I've read in here, he couldn't take criticism... I guess you truly are out of the 6theory jungle.

And if you're questioning my faith to Soompi, I'm just a Soompier, yet I'll always be neutral... I'm not Soompi's butt kisser. What do you think we are? Some kind of gang members of Soompi vs 6theory where 6theory members come here and we're like "DUDE IT'S WAAAAR"? I guess it's amusing for kids to think it that way, but my days of thinking like that with so much pride are long gone. It's amusing to see a few 6theory thinking they'll dominate Soompi... At the end of the day, they're still Soompiers since they're posting here. LOL! No idea how some people look at forums like some kind of gangster sht and their turfs. But it's amusing.

AsianFanatics uses member groups to show our appreciation of members.

The higher the rank of a group, the more privileges the member gets.

• Unregistered users are shown as "Guests". They are only able to post in the AF Help&Feedback Center and the Dear AF Forum. They can browse through most of the sections, but can't post or start new topics.

• Everyone starts off as an "AF-n00b". After getting 10 posts, you will automatically become an "AF-newbie". As an AF-n00b, you cannot edit your profile, your signature, or your avatar. You cannot post live URL's, no do not have access to our PM-system and do not have the rights to vote in polls. This group has minimal rights on the site: basically, only posting and replying to topics in the forum and viewing images in the AF-gallery.

• The 2nd rank is "AF-newbies". After posting 20 posts in postcount forums, you can ask for promotion to get into the "Members" group. This group can edit their profiles, signatures, and avatars, but they still cannot access the PM-system.

Yes, I just find it a bit annoying to see someone openly bash Soompi while on the site. It just seems so rude to me especially because the admins/mods have been really nice and everything. Like you pointed out even the mod who got bashed was pretty mature. It's really different on here. I know when I was first on here I had to really adjust my system from being on 6theory. It really is different on here and I can understand people not getting that.

People on 6theory who think they're gonna over run Soompi are gonna find out they can't. Just like no one else can.  As long as people are cool and here to talk about the topics that are on the forum at the end of that day that's what counts. Lol your talking about gangs reminded me of the recent Block B mv. 

But it's hard to navigate.

The only issue I have with Soompi is the 2NE1 thread moves a little slowly. Let's speed it up a bit and have some fun Black Jacks! *quoted image*

All threads are like that. Why? Because you stay on topic. You don't talk about anything unless it has to do with the artist. If there's nothing going on it's tougher or if there's fewer people in a thread. You can't just yap about stuff like you can on 6theory. They'll let you know that too.

I been to 6thoery once and people there were so rude, especially towards the Soompi Uzzlhang contest (Whatever you spell that). Here on Soompi, some people here give really good advice and some are mature. Also, the Mods here are pretty cool.

The mods here are pretty good about stuff. They have a lot too so even if someone is biased there will be someone else who probably isn't. I personally have yet to see a mod in any artist section and I've been here since November. Either that or I just haven't been paying attention. 

6theory is totally sucky, so I came here. 

This forum is a little hard to navigate but if there's other 6theory members moving here til the forums HOPEFULLY get better then that's okay. *quoted image*

If you're expecting here to be anything like 6theory don't. Artist threads are specifically about the artist. You don't chitchat about your day or anything personal. People are really strict about that. They want to do that so everyone can feel welcome and to not cause troubles and such. It is a little difficult but once you login a few times it's easy to navigate. Just remember to click on the "forums" tab and you'll be fine.

Exactly. The admins/mods have been nothing but nice and gracious hosts to everyone and look how some people respond to them. It's just rude to regular users here imo. People have been nothing but nice on here and to have rude behavior in return is just a turn off imo. 

6theory people who think they will be able to over run this forum with their cliques and all that nonsense will find that out here quickly that they won't be able to. People here imo don't do that. I've been here since November and mods are pretty strict. Sand saw that pretty quickly when she tried to do her little "Do you like 2ne1?" thread and they closed it so fast. Members are pretty strict too and are in line with the mods with the rules. As long as you follow the rules and like the act you go to the threads people are cool. 

I'm glad abusive mods like that disappeared from here. Dictatorship style... Yes that is the 6theory in you I guess. (If that's how it is in the jungle out there)

I was a kid just like you guys and I had tons of warnings but I survived through it. I feel naked now because the admin took out all of my warnings and I don't feel like an internet thug anymore... It's like taking out all the badazz tattoos off a hardcore biker... This is how I became a normal grandpa now...

If there's any problem, I will be the Maury Povich from the Maury show in here but I doubt kids of these days even know who the hell he is...

It's not a dictatorship. It's a message board. You agreed to the TOS when you clicked that button  to join. Nobody made you join this forum but you. If people don't like it here they can leave.  I find it really rude and disrespectful that people are whining openly here on Soompi about this or that. The Soompi admins/mods have been nothing but gracious and welcoming and accomidating. They didn't have to let people from 6theory have their own thread like this. They could have told everyone to not talk about it. It's not uncommon knowledge that people on here don't like 6theory. I don't blame them one bit. This thread whining about Soompi is just another example imo for people on here to not like 6theory people. This is not 6theory. This is Soompi. If people don't like it and find it too boring no one is making you stay here.

Well, don't you feel more at home already if it's not that different? That was my main goal while welcoming people from 6theory. Success? They'll slowly adapt to Soompi. You'll see why it's not a "jungle". More clean and organized. If you wanna witness some "mature talk" from me, you'll find it somewhere out there. I just didn't think over here was the right thread to pull this off.
