SEOUL: Korean actor Lee Jong-suk’s management agency Wellmade STARM announced Saturday that he “has not fully recovered” from swine flu, reported Korean media

Wellmade STARM said Lee will therefore not be able to participate in the filming for a special edition of the popular variety show “Running Men” in Australia, as was originally planned.

The 24-year-old actor was diagnosed with swine flu and received treatment at a hospital last week, after returning to Seoul from a fan meeting in Shanghai.

He is currently resting at home.

Lee is set to star as a North Korean doctor who defects to South Korea in his upcoming drama "Foreign Doctor".

The actor had previously appeared in the hit Korean drama “I Can Hear Your Voice”, as well as the competitive swimming-themed film “No Breathing”.
