이종석 "신종플루 호전…다음 주 '닥터 이방인' 촬영 합류"

[OBS플러스=김숙경 기자] 배우 이종석이 신종플루 확진을 받은 뒤 건강이 호전돼 드라마 촬영에 복귀할 예정이다. 이종석의 소속사 웰메이드 이엔티 관계자는 24일 OBS플러스에 "건강이 많이 호전됐다. 그래도 몇일 정도 경과를 더 지켜봐야 될 것 같다"고 전했다. 이어 관계자는 "'닥터 이방인' 촬영은 지난 주부터 촬영 예정이었는데 조금 밀린 상태다. 이종석씨의 신종플루로 인해 드라마 촬영에 많은 차질을 빚은 것은 아니다. 회복이 되면 바로 촬영에 복귀할 예정이며 다음 주 정도가 되지 않을까 생각한다. 또 3월 중 헝가리 로케이션에 합류한다"고 덧붙였다. 앞서 이종석은 지난 18일 신종플루 확진 판정을 받은 뒤 건강이 회복되지 않아 '런닝맨' 촬영에는 참여하지 못했다. 한편 이종석은 SBS 새 월화드라마 '닥터 이방인'에서 탈북 천재의사 박훈 역으로 오는 4월 안방극장에 복귀한다. Jongsuk has been confirmed to join the filming crew for ‘DS’ in Hungary (most likely Budapest), sometime early in March. Until then, he will be studying his script and working on the practical preparations for his role.

Latest announcement from Jong Suk’s agency this morning, he has recovered a lot, and he should be joining the crew of Dr. Stranger next week, and going to Hungary in mid March.
