Hello everybody! Does anyone know what happened to make 6Theory go down?

I'd just wanna voice my opinion.

The whole 6theory shutting down thing was because Johnny Noh, the big boss, said that the users were be disrespectful and really grew out of control. The board being temporaly down is a way of scolding us. If anything they're being giant idiots in my opinion. First off, yes there's a crap load of trolls and hate, but that's what mods are for right? What's that? There aren't enough mods you say? Simply hire more mods then. We seriously have troll threads open for like 24 hours before closing down with two mods per board? It's absolute crap that the the problem is seen as "disrespectful users" when the mods aren't doing an efficient job. Some said even if they do ip bans, users can come back under another proxy. So what, most users are like 12 year olds, they don't know how to work that stuff.

Even if they do, just ban them again instead of being lazy -____- And now the entire board is down. It's like a lifeguard closing a pool because of some kids running around, even though he didn't enforce his own rules.

You can't expect everything to work perfectly unless you put some effort towards it.

I don't know if I'm just crazy for this, but I think if you want to find SNSD in the US, you might want to check Victoria Secret stores around their hotel area, lol. For SM Town LA, I saw the girls at Victoria Secret. Some of the girls have been seen shopping there, and they did in both NY and LA. I remember Soy and I standing outside the store in LA waiting for Yuri but didn't go inside to give her some privacy and not invade her space. Seeing her walk by in person up close, people are right when they say the girls are much prettier than even pictures show.

Im glad to see people sharing their love for the girls. So my friend didnt go to the fansign for me, which is ok because it seems there was some issues with it. About the commercial I would say either the Pizza Hut or J.Estina commercial would be good. The Pizza Hut commercial is cute and it is a recognizable company.

True, there is a chance of it backfiring, but I feel sometimes when there is a big opportunity to be had, you don't play it safe. I think with a cosmetic ad like Dior, it will get people's attention, but it wouldn't be that memorable in my opinion. When I think of how SNSD has tried to appeal themselves to people of all ages and genders whether it was in Korea or Japan, I feel they might be able to do the same in the US.

As much as I love the Goobne CF for all the soshi dorkiness and lovableness, it's a different funny from the Superbowl commercials. If you were to take a humorous direction, it would be competing against all the other funny standouts during halftime. And chances are, people wouldn't really remember SNSD. If you took a different route, it would be different and IMO more likely to be remembered.

^not all of 6theory is bad. i guess you just happened to stumble onto the site when trolls were active. there's also sections of the forum that is very different like the artists thread where most sones feel comfortable posting and spazzing in. 6theory can be too lenient and they do need more mods, but thing is being too strict is also not good.

of an opportunity to promote SNSD fandom while helping charity.

With SNSD becoming an international group (Yay for their appearance on American TV shows), Crafts4Change, a non profit organization, hopes to promote globalization with SNSD. We've created designs of their latest 'The Boys' concept and below are some samples. Promote SNSD in your country with the T-shirt! As we are a non profit profits will go towards a charity. We recently invested in a sewing business in Guatemela and plan to next donate it to building a library in Sierra Leone.

In terms of gaining the girls exposure, it'd be easy and limiting to only show one aspect of the girls. As much as I love them on music stages, I think I love them more for their variety shows where they're goofing around and NOT posing gorgeously. So I think a single ad or promotion type can't come close to why these 9 are so special. Really, people need to see both sides of the girls to appreciate them. I think the epic Goobne commercial with them playing around in the practice room in sweats AND the Dior / Jestina commercials, where you can see their beauty, preferrably aired back-to-back would get people to notice them and WANT MORE.
