niagara falls vacation

recommend any places?

well my family's going on vacation to niagara falls for a week. i live in ny so i'm clueless as to where we should go. can anyone recommend any good places that my whole family (including my 12 yr old brother) can enjoy?

Kingdom of the Lost Birds (or something like that). It's this indoor place where birds are flying everywhere, and aren't caged, (some of them are though). Walking around downtown and by the falls at night is cool too. lol

Clifton Hill right next to the falls! It's an area with hotels, motels, the casino, restaurants, haunted houses (Screamers, Nightmares...), clubs, restaurants, even mini golf.

They have this cool ferris wheel right next to the falls and it's soooooo beautiful if you go at night and the lights are on that let you see the falls at night (because depending on the day, they don't always light the falls at night). The view is spectacular! I just went there for after-prom last night. XD

There's also Maid of the Mist that takes you in a boat into the falls, Marineland is right nearby that your lil brother might enjoy..and even an IMAX theatre.

^ yeah I went on maid of mist the next day after prom, awesome stuff...nice view of falls and the experience was just too fun hahaha =D

I just went there for a 3days trip XD;

My family got this econo-package to visit all 4 main attractions: Niagara Falls Garden/ParK? don't remember exactly the name, but you walk around the falls...; Maid of the mist, where you take the boat and go up real near both american and canadian falls; Behind the falls, where you take a peek at what's happening behind the falls; and Butterfly Conservatory, it's like a dome where there's tons of butterflies flying around XD; that can occupy you for pretty much a day...

There are many other things to visit, such as the bird kindom thing and tons of wax museum, rippley's believe or not museum, haunted mansions, arcade/amusement things that wins ticket to exchange for goodies

Be sure to look at the tourist stands when you arrive there, there are usually a lot of coupon booklets that do save you a bit when you're a big family =]

Anything worth seeing in Niagara Falls can be done in one day.

Maybe you can do a day-trip into Toronto or something.

I've been to Niagara several times and after one day, there really isn't much to do. It's a very small place.
