여배우들, 강해지거나 털털해지거나…

성유리, 문근영, 송윤아, 김하늘, 손예진, 박지윤 등 복귀했거나 오랜만에 브라운관 복귀를 앞둔 여자 연기자들이 변심(?)했다.

평소 지켜왔던 청순한 이미지를 훌훌 벗고 왈가닥, 남장 여자 등의 파격 변신을 꾀한 것.

성유리는 KBS 2TV 수목드라마 '쾌도 홍길동'서 왈가닥 선머슴 '허인옥'을 맡아 엉뚱한 모습을 선보여 사랑받고 있다. 극 초반 '어색하다', '연기력 논란' 평가도 있었지만 극 중반으로 넘어갈수록 시청률 10% 대 중반을 오가며 안정을 찾아가고 있다.

5년 만에 드라마 복귀를 준비하고 있는 문근영 또한 이정명 작가의 베스트셀러 동명 소설을 원작으로 한 SBS 드라마 '바람의 화원'에서 남장여자로 분할 예정. 이번 작품은 문근영이 성인이 된 이래 첫 출연작인만큼 브라운관에 비쳐질 그녀의 성숙해진 연기와 외모에 대한 팬들의 기대가 크다.

No, it's just that your display mode had been changed. To fix this click on the options button (top right of page) and then change your display mode back to standard.

Son Ye-jin & Kim Joo-hyeok's new film "My wife got married" will crank in on 10th

Actor Son Ye-jin and Kim Joo-hyeok's first cooperative film, "My wife got married" (Directed by Jeong Yoon-soo, Produced by Jupiter Film) held a traditional success ceremony before crank-in.

The ceremony was held on 4th, in the presence of main actor Son Ye-jin, Kim Joo hyeok, the director Jeong Yoon-soo and about 100 staffs.

The film "My wife got married" is based on an original novel, where an attractive character 'In-ah' argues to have two husbands. Already 9 out 10 people who have read the novel chose Son Ye-jin for the role of 'In-ah'. Many agree that this is a perfect customised casting for the role.

Many audiences place high expectation for Son Ye-jin's new transformation as well as toward Kim Joo-hyeok, who seem to be a sweet romanticist who will endure anything under the name of love.

Film 'Open city' to be made a drama by the production company of upcoming "On-air"

Kim Myeong-min and Son Ye-jin's latest film, "Open City" (directed by Lee Sang-ki) is going to be made into a drama.

The film reached 1 million audiences within 11 days of its release, displaying the power of Korean films in January. The drama production, K-dream, which produced Lee Seo-jin and Kim Jeong-eun couple's drama "Lovers", decided to make the film into a drama.

The spokesman from the K-dream said, the drama "Open City" (the title of the drama is yet to be finalised) will be made into a total of 16 episodes, focusing on real depiction of pocket-picking crime and the joys and sorrows of metropolitan city polices who chase after them. The drama "Open City" is going to be created by the hands of the best producers and staff in the field and is soon to start making production preparations, aiming to be on-air this winter.

Because the film "Open City" just entered the 3rd week of showing at the cinemas, the news of making it into a drama have gained a great attention from the entertainment industry. In the past, the decision of making popular films into dramas was made well after it was off the cinema screen or if the film was based on an original work, the copyrights for both film and drama were bought at the same time.

The film "Open City" is a serious real crime action film, which involves the life and works of metropolitan city police and the shocking reality of pocket-picking crimes, which never been issued in the history of Korean films. Upon its release, the film gained much attention from various drama productions due to its unique materials and attractive characters.

Meanwhile, K-dream's latest drama, "On-air" is going to be televised this February, starring Song Yoon-ah, Kim Ha-neul, Lee Beom-soo and Park Yong-ha.

Let welcome the new year with a recap on the event that happened for the past one year.

At the beginning of the year, Son Yejin was crowned the "2007 Best Lead Actress Award" on the Award Ceremony co-organised by SBS & KBS for her role Eun-Ho in "Alone in Love".

Soon after that she bagged the "2006 Most Popular Commercial Model", presented on the "2006 Korean Model Award Ceremony" held in 2007, she was chosen for her cheerful and healthy image on major commercial. Most probably the reason why she is well-liked by everyone.

Mid of 2007 Son Yejin won another big award, which is the "43rd Paek Sang Arts Best Acting Award". Son Yejin has not been an unfamiliar face on the Paek Sang Arts Award as she had won the best newcomer award earlier in 2003.

Things to expect in this coming year ...

Said to be her most sensational work, "Open City" will be screened on Jan 2008. Tattoos , Cigarette, Sexy Tights, Guns, Criminal Organization ... the most expected film so far.

2 season 48 episode series "Agent Zero" featuring Son Yejin & Sol Kyung Gu, a detective crime story. "Agent Zero" will only be broadcast upon filming completion. So expectation will be near the end of first quarter 2008.

If nothing went wrong, the filming of "My Wife is Married" will start in 2008. Son Yejin and Kim Joo Hyuk previously selected for a spy film based in the 30s 40s, the filming of the movie which failed to happen due to budget constrain. With this they will get to act along side once contract is signed.

What surprises will we get from Yejin yet again in 2008, let us be expectant.

Son Ye Jin has been confirmed as the female lead of 'Spotlight' who is modelled on a real-life MBC female reporter "Kim Eun Hye". . First practise of the drama wil be taking place on 12th feb. The 16 eps May drama will be airing 70 mins for each ep.
