2008 안방극장, 대어가 넘쳐난다

안방극장에 대어가 넘쳐나고 있다. 지난해 말 한류 톱스타인 배용준이 MBC '태왕사신기'에 출연한데 이어 2008년 역시 안방극장이 톱스타들로 넘쳐나고 있다. 하반기 톱스타들의 안방러쉬로, 대어 전쟁이 불가필할 정도다.

안방극장을 화려하게 수놓을 출연자 대부분 스크린 스타. 스크린 스타가 아니더라도 이른바 '톱스타'라 불리우는 배우들이 몰려온다. 대어급 연기자가 출연하는 드라마는 현재 지상파 3사에 고루 분포돼 있어, 이들의 드라마 경쟁은 곧 지상파 3사의 드라마왕국 쟁탈전을 예고하고 있다.

1월 개봉된 영화 '무방비도시'의 손예진은 오는 14일 방송될 MBC 새 수목미니시리즈 '스포트라이트'(극본 이기원ㆍ연출 김도훈)로 돌아온다.

권상우와 고현정은 8월 방송예정인 SBS 미니시리즈 '대물'(극본 유동윤ㆍ연출 김형식)을 통해 시청자를 만난다. 올초 종영된 KBS 2TV 미니시리즈 '못된사랑'과 영화 '숙명'을 마친 권상우는 '대물'을 통해 전작의 흥행부진의 설욕전을 벌일 기세다.

6월 5일 개봉을 앞둔 영화 '걸스카웃트'의 주연 김선아는 오는 6월 방송될 MBC 월화미니시리즈 '밤이면 밤마다'(극본 윤은경ㆍ연출 손형석)를 통해 안방극장을 찾는다. 드라마로 복귀하는 김선아가 2005년 방송된 MBC '내 이름은 김삼순'의 인기를 회복할지 관심이 모아지고있다.

지난 해 6월개봉된 영화 '황진이' 흥행부진 이후 차기작을 신중히 선택한 송혜교는 오는 11월 KBS에서 전파를 탈 표민수PD와 노희경작가 합작품인 '그들이 사는 세상'으로 안방에 돌아온다. 송혜교 역시 이드라마가 설욕전이 될 것으로 전망되고 있다.

또 에릭과 이준기는 각각 6월9일 첫 전파를 타는 KBS 2TV '최강칠우'(극본 백운철ㆍ연출 박만영)와 21일 첫방송되는 SBS '일지매'(극본 최란ㆍ연출 이용석)에 출연한다.

할리우드 영화에 출연하며 이름을 세계로 알고 있는 가수 비 역시 10월 복귀 이후 드라마에 출연할 것으로 행보를 확정해 관심이 모아지고 있다.

Son Ye Jin tries her acting skill in a new image as a reporter

Famous actress Son Ye Jin comes back to the small screen after 2 years disappearing by a new drama about special topic of MBC Spotlight. This is the first time Son Ye Jin acts as a reporter so that it paid much attention from audience.

In Spotlight, Son Ye Jin plays Suh Yoo Jin who is a simple mind and a pure character reporter but also enthusiasm in working. After accepting into department of social news of the television station, at first she acted very harsh that made many mistakes. However, because of her determination and eagerness to learn, finally she became an excellent news reporter.

This is a special topic drama that has many lived scenes which describe the life and work of reporters like the “hunting” scene without sleeping through days… In order to perform the true image, Son Ye Jin has changed her outfit and her daily language. She tends not to take a shower for days to experience the feeling of busy and untidy professional reporter.

Spotlight can be the first Korean drama that indicates the life and work of news reporters. The drama will start to broadcast from May 14 in the evening of Wednesday and Thursday weekly.

손예진은 14일 첫 방송될 드라마 '스포트라이트'(MBC)를 통해 일에 미쳐사는 초년병 여기자의 매력을 십분 선보인다. '연애시대' 이후 2년만의 안방 연기로 청와대 김은혜 부대변인을 비롯, 많은 여기자들을 벤치마킹한 서우진 역으로 제2의 연기 도약을 준비하고 있다. '여름향기'의 순수한 여인에서 '작업의 정석'의 자유분망한 모습, '무방비도시'의 팜므파탈 캐릭터를 거친 손예진이 이번 작품을 통해 연기력과 스타성을 다시 한번 과시하며 인기를 모을 수 있을 지 관심이 모아지는 상황.

　'올인'과 '풀하우스'의 잇딴 대박으로 최고의 여배우로 도약한 송혜교는 표민수 감독의 작품인 '그들이 사는 세상'(KBS)의 주연으로 현빈과 함께 연기 궁합을 펼치기로 해 벌써부터 화제다. 그동안 보호본능을 유발시키는 가녀린 여자의 모습을 주로 보여왔던 송혜교가 '그들이 사는 세상'에서는 거친 방송국에서 살아남기 위해 몸부림치는 PD 연기를 선보이게 돼 숨겨둔 또 다른 매력을 끄집어낼 수 있을 지, 관심이 모아지고 있다.

충무로 기근 속에 톱스타와 감독들이 줄줄이 브라운관으로 향하고 있다. 한국영화 제작편수가 줄어드는 등 침체기가 이어지면서 이를 이겨내는 전략으로 안방극장이 떠오른 셈이다.

드라마에서 스타로 떠올랐다고 할지라도, 일단 영화 쪽으로 옮겨가면 드라마 출연은 잘 하지 않는 것이 한동안의 관례. 그러나 최근 스타들 사이에서 스크린과 브라운관의 경계는 완전히 허물어졌다. ‘황진이’ 미국 독립영화 ‘페티시’ 등을 찍은 송혜교는 표민수 감독-노희경 작가 콤비의 KBS2 ‘그들이 사는 세상’에 출연해 현빈과 호흡을 맞춘다. 송혜교의 안방복귀는 KBS2 ‘풀하우스’ 이후 4년 만이다.

올해 초 영화 ‘무방비도시’에서 팜므파탈을 선보인 손예진 역시 MBC 미니시리즈 ‘스포트라이트’에서 방송사 보도국 기자 역할을 맡았다. 이외에 SBS ‘대물’에서 여자대통령 역을 맡은 고현정, 영화 ‘걸스카우트’에 이어 MBC ‘밤이면 밤마다’를 선보이는 김선아, SBS ‘달콤한 나의 도시’의 최강희, SBS ‘바람의 화원’의 문근영 등 모두 안방과 스크린 사이를 오가는 스타들이다.

남자배우들의 면면도 화려하다. 권상우는 ‘대물’, 이준기는 SBS ‘일지매’로 시청자를 찾으며 워쇼스키 형제의 ‘스피드레이서’로 할리우드 진출을 한 비도 올 가을 드라마 복귀를 검토 중이다. 한 연예관계자는 “다 찍은 영화도 개봉날을 못 잡고 허덕이고, 좋은 시나리오도 줄어들었다”며 “블럭버스터급 드라마가 늘어나고 배우 출연료도 높아져 드라마를 기피할 이유가 없다”고 설명했다. SBS ‘온에어’에서 인기를 끌고 있는 송윤아, 김하늘의 경우처럼 드라마 출연은 대중적인 인기 측면에서도 손해볼 것이 없다.

한편 스타만 돌아온 것이 아니다. 2004년 경부터 불기 시작한 영화 감독들의 안방극장 진출 바람은 최근 1~2년 사이 더욱 활기를 띠고 있다. ‘라이터를 켜라’의 장항준 감독은 지난달 OCN에서 ‘최강로맨스’의 김정우 감독과 대결 형식으로 ‘장감독vs김감독’을 진행했다. 장 감독은 “케이블영화를 한다고 안 좋은 시선을 보내던 감독들도 뒤늦게 제의를 받고는 이제 나한테 얼마 받았냐고 물어보는 상황이다. 작품을 잘 만들면 되지 스크린이 아니라고 피할 이유는 없다”고 강조했다. 장진 감독 역시 소지섭 복귀로 화제가 된 OCN 단편영화 ‘유턴’을 연출했고 SBS ‘달콤한 나의 도시’는 ‘인어공주’ ‘나도 아내가 있었으면 좋겠다’의 박흥식 감독이 연출을 맡았다.

I like her so much My first korean film was Moment to remember - I cried a lot... And I liked Ye-jin Son after this movie She's talented and so beautiful..I'd like to be as beautiful as she is...I love her duet with Jo In Sung (my favourite korean actor :blush:)in The Classic they're great couple I have Open City - her newest movie but I haven't seen it yet I'm so curious her role in it, it seems to be so different from her other movies.

Actress Son Ye-jin does not have celebrities friends

On the 7th, actress Son Ye-jin (26) participated in the filming/recording of MC Kang Ho-dong's variety show "Goldfish" (MBC). She revealed that she doesn't have any friends in the entertainment circle throughout her 8-year career. She often considers herself not good at interpersonal relationships so she closes herself up (ie introvert, not very open). Very worried, she even tried to find solutions before.

She admits that she's an introvert, not easy to be closed to her co-stars. She said that it's a pity to not able to be friends with insiders/entertainers.

She also revealed that she doesn't express her inner feelings leading others to have pre-conceived notions about her. Over the 3-hour filming, the workers/staffs were able to feel the friendly and true side of her.

Son Ye-jin's Wednesday/Thursday drama "Spotlight" with actor Ji Jin-hee will premiere on May 14th at 9:55pm on MBC. This segment will be aired on May 14th as well.
