Synopsis

i dont think he knows. i mean he also doesnt know the fact that mdm shin killed his parents and that president hong is also his father... well, i think he should've done more research before plotting his revenge, that way he could minimize the damage to himself... well, whats done is done. nothing i can do to change the ending or the way the story already goes....

i don't think that GUN WOO and TAE-RA knows that they're not real siblings...look at their reaction when the maid informed eveything to GUN WOOK!!! tae-ra asked to the maid if gun wook was her brother?? both of them were shocked and had teary eyes....

i was so sad in this scene when tae-ra went to gun wooks house. GW wook couldn't talk and fainted when he's about to turn his body towards tae-ra..then tae-ra saw their family pic!

wow...kim nam gil dies yet again....i remember in this interview, he said that he was predicting that his character in bad guy would die in the end cause his characters always ended up dying in most of the dramas he's in...

but overall, this was a pretty good drama and as KNG's fan, I'm really happy for him that he got the chance to get a main role~~ and kim jae wook's acting was amazing too! hope to see more of both of them in future works!

It's the final, monstrously bitter, irony in this beautifully crafted plot that Mo Nae, in apparently murdering him to avenge everything he's done to her family and to punish him for turning her into someone capable of killing, (anyone who doesn't really understand the Korean as Mo Nae confronts GW at gunpoint should withhold their judgment of her character, and the significance of GW meeting his end at their hands until they do grasp what exactly she says to him) is actually merely pulling the trigger on the weapon he'd intended to turn upon himself.

I do admit that he obviously had the intention to commit suicide, but that was subsided for at least the immediate future by the efforts of JI. Even if he had wanted to save himself after being shot by Monae he could not have without incriminating her as his murderer and that is the last thing he wanted to do. *And I watched withs2 subs

I get the poetic ending thing and all and it is smart/poetic but of course I'm still upset. But then again if I was looking for a happy dandy drama I should just watch Kim Tak Gu.

two eps. What a beautifully messed up drama.

Ah I just wished it was a happy ending for GW!

What disappointed me most was that no one knew GW was dead.

So now he's back to where he started, where no one was aware.

It's like we are all a needle in a haystack, nobody knows and nobody cares. And GW is back to square one. So after that circle, was it all worth it? *sighs*

This is exactly what I thought ...GW had went through a difficult  trip his whole life and and in the end it has proved his life is  like meaningless. It made me wonder what the drama is trying to tell us. I could only feel empty and lost at heart after watching the ending.

It was really well done. I also would prefer a happy ending but must admit the sad ending left a really memorable impression about this drama on my mind.

Tae Ra and Gun Wook? They aren't blood related sister/brother. He's the illegitimate child of Chairman Hong, and he was expelled by Madame Shin because she was bitter that he wasn't HER son even though he was the real Tae Sung. I hope that made sense.

I know the drama could have ended in a few different ways, but I didn't think the given ending was as awful as some people thought =/. It was...appropriate? There are a few parts of the drama that I felt actually foreshadowed what would happen. One of them was when Gun Wook said, "Everyone is born into this world alone and everyone leaves this world alone." Another part is when he's says that he'll receive his punishment after his revenge has been fully carried out. These parts didn't leave me with the impression that the drama would end with Gun Wook and Jae In happily frolicking together on the beach.

Nope.. it doesn't made sense unless Taera is not Chairman Hong Daughter.. it means that they are half brother/sister.

I just start watching this drama and am half way through. The feel of this drama feel rather similar to the japanese drama called "Zeni Geba" (2009) aka Money Crazy. Thats the only other drama I've watch that have a similar plot. Although both the main character have slightly different reason for their vengeance. But its particularly about revenge from a poor soul against the rich of society. And they both get close to the younger sisters, decieve the family and take over the company. I wonder if this drama is adapted from Zeni Geba. I like this series more thou cuz it also steer toward dangerous romance and of course Lee Han is so cool and handsome! >___< XD

Now that you mention it, it really is similar to Zeni Geba although I definitely favor Bad Guy in terms of acting, directing and overall story execution. Bad ending and all.
