Taecyeon Unleashes Wrath on Sexually Frustrated Netizens

A lone figure sits at his computer, set on tackling injustice, 140 characters at a time. He unleashes anger over problems he sees, rather it be unfair praise by his own employer, or adults expressing their sexual desires.  If his typed words do not remedy the situation, then by golly, he’ll use the courts!  It sounds like a script for a humorous drama, but not in the case of 2PM’s Taecyeon.

Taecyeon has recently taken on the endeavor of pursuing legal remedies against sexual harassers. Thanks to a rather salacious conversation between two individuals on Twitter pertaining to certain parts of Taecyeon’s anatomy and biological processes, Taecyeon has declared he has had enough and will no longer stay quiet. In response, netizens are lighting their torches and brandishing their pitchforks. While initially eager to join forces with these crusaders, after a bit more reading, I retracted my claws and simply laughed at the over-dramatic situation.

Oh, the ridiculous drama!

First, curiosity is peeked by how Taeceyon even found out about the statements. Maybe there are netizen rats, scurrying around social media, to tip off their biases when something possibly problematic arises. It must be nice to have such a band of fighters for your cause. It reminds you of grade school, where friends would around and tell each other what other classmates are talking about. Or, more likely, Taecyeon enjoys searching his name to see what people are saying. That’s not remotely narcissistic.

Second, would not JYP Entertainment’s resources be better spent toward other things? Instead of wasting their money, time (and the court’s time), on such frivolousness, maybe the company should put it toward projects. Taecyeon would probably have less time to search his name if he was distracted by work.  Acting, and ‘OKCAT’ following him around, does not seem to be enough. Those scarce 2PM albums won’t release themselves. If not Taecyeon, then perhaps the company could handle the Wonder Girls situation, or better yet, bring JOO out of the dungeon. She hasn’t released anything in 3 years, and people now think she’s Ilhoon cross-dressing.

Third, there is a whiff of hypocrisy in this entire situation. Maybe I simply have more open friends, but since puberty, talking about the body parts of attractive people is common place. It is even more common amongst male counterparts. It is doubtful that Taecyeon has never said something sexual about a girl or boy’s body (whichever is his preference), especially to his friends. To even suggest that somehow these two girls are more wrong, is ridiculous. Also, lest we forget:

While his frustration is understandable, Taecyeon has overreacted in regards to the two individuals. The conversation was not directed explicitly to Taecyeon, even though he is the subject. In its simplest form, the conversation is two people expressing their sexual desires. While the two people could have been more tactful in expressing themselves, they do not deserve to have legal means used against them. It is rather difficult to even argue that the conversation constitutes sexual harassment.

Harassment, by its nature, needs to have some continuity and targeting. In this case, there is no reference to the individuals having repeatedly made sexual comments directly to Taecyeon (neither on Twitter, café, nor in person). If they have repeatedly made unwanted sexual advances and suggestions directly to Taecyeon, then by all means, Taecyeon should get the legal system involved. If it’s not the case, then Taecyeon should simply let the conversation slide and chalk it up to fans being perverted fans. JYP Entertainment has stated that Taecyeon has been sexually harassed for years, but it is unknown if the harassment involved these two people in particular. It is those other individuals who should be the target of Taecyeon’s wrath and authorities.

If there is one thing fans can learn from this, it is this: If you would not want certain parties to read what you have to say, it is best to protect your Twitter account and privatize your comments, as much as possible. Otherwise, you can face unintended consequences. In the meantime, let us hope artists do not actively look at tumblr or fan fiction.

Two Posters of Drama "Wonderful Days" released





Two posters of new drama 'Wonderful Days' were released.

On February 17th, the production team of new KBS 2TV drama 'Wonderful Days' released two posters of the drama.

Each poster shows three heroins staring at different directions. The first poster shows Lee Seo Jin's unconcerned look, Kim Hee Sun's vague look, and Ok Taec Yeon's sharp look making a great match together. All of the actors are showing huge auras, and many drama fans are showing huge anticipation.

The second poster shows all of the main actors who are casting in the drama, including Lee Seo Jin, Kim Hee Sun, Ok Taec Yeon, Ryu Seung Soo, Kim Ji Ho, Yoon Yeo Jung, Choi Hwa Jung, Kim Gwang Kyu, Kim Sang Ho, Jin Kyung, Park Joo Hyung, Kim Dan Yul, Hong Hwa Ri, and Choi Kwon Soo. They look like one big happy family, and the poster implies that days with family is 'Wonderful Days'.

A representative of the production agency of the drama said, "The two posters represent what the drama is about very vividly. Please show a lot of supports for all of the actors and the drama."

Meanwhile, 'Wonderful Days' will premiere on February 22nd at 7:55 PM.

Taecyeon jokes that 2PM was too young during Kim Hee Sun's prime and shares his aspiration as an actor

2PM's Taecyeon jokingly assured HOTTEST that he doesn't have his eyes on his 'Very Good Days' co-star Kim Hee Sun!
The February 22 installment of 'Entertainment Relay' sat down with the cast of 'Very Good Days' and the reporter asked, "Since you're with the beautiful Kim Hee Sun, I feel like your members would be jealous." Taecyeon shared, "But to be honest, we were too young during Hee Sun noona's prime..." 

When Kim Hee Sun heard this she jokingly got up and acted like she was angry making Taecyeon go in defense mode with a bright smile.
The reporter also brought up Taecyeon's wish to focus on acting, leading Kim Hee Sun to jokingly fire back that he'll leave 2PM. Taecyeon clarified his previous statement, "I wanted to say that although I am working as a singer, I hope that I may be able to get recognized as an actor through this production."
'Very Good Days' takes viewers on the life journey of a man who grows up poor, but ends up becoming a successful prosecutor and returns to his hometown 15 years later.

KBS' new weekend drama 'Very Good Days' has scored a high 23.8% for its first episode!

The new drama follows the 'Wong Family', another very successful weekend drama from KBS. The previous drama first kicked off with a 19.7%, so 'Very Good Days' already has a 4% advantage over its precessor.

The drama features Lee Seo Jin, Kim Hee Sun, and 2PM's Taecyeon as its main characters. Instead of the usual weekend drama with intense twists, it's a fresh, feel-good story that tells the story of family.

'Wonderful Days' first aired on the 22nd..expected to become a hit of weekend dramas

New KBS weekend soap opera will be released on the 22nd. 'Wonderful Days' is a piece presented by Lee Kyeong-Hee in 14 years. I love Taec in this drama. Can't wait to see him in the next episode to see his interact with his kids. From the preview, he was caring towards his mom. When he going home for the first time, he stop to buy sweet potato. I think that is for his nuna.
By the way, Kang Mool the elder kid (not the twins) also was acting with Taec in Cinderella Sister drama as Moon Geun Young baby brother.

On the episode of KBS 2TV weekend drama "Really Good Times" (script Lee Kyung Hee, director Kim Jin Won) broadcast on February 22nd, Cha Hae Won (played by Kim Hee Sun) and Ok Taek Yeon (played by Kang Dong Hee) fought on the street.
On this day, Kang Dong Hee and Cha He Won who were fighting at the hair salon kept fighting on the street.  Cha He Won saw the ring on Kang Dong Hee's finger and took it away saying, "Is that a wedding ring?"

"Really good Times" Ok Taek Hyun showed his anger for his older brother Lee Suh Jin.On the episode of KBS 2TV weekend drama "Really Good Times" broadcast on February 23rd, the president of a client company Seung Hoon (played by Park Joo Hyun) went to Dong Hee (played by Ok Taek Yeon) who was alone and comforted him.
On this day, Dong Hee and Seung Hoon as well as Gook Soo (played by Lee Yoo Joon) was riding in a car when there was Dong Hee's older brother Dong Suk (played by Lee Suh Jin)'s plank card.
Dong Suk's appointment to Kyeong Ju was being congratulated on this plank card and in red letter, there were the words, "You're richard simmons."
Dong Hee heard saying Seung Hoon said, "Who did that" and he said he did.  At this, Seung Hoon laughed and enjoyed It.
Meanwhile, in the middle of the conversation between Seung Hoon and Gook Soo, they find out that Dong Hee isn't So Shim (played by Yoon Yeo Jung)'s real son and It's revealed that they had known this from before but had pretended not to.
Via kdramastars-----What so everyone know about DH status but they keep it off from him. Episode 1 and 2 full of angst. We need some cute moments on next episode.

Wow, talk about a 3-in-1 combination! 2PM’s Taecyeon displayed his gentleness towards his family in the recent episode of KBS’ “Wonderful Days.” Episode three of the KBS drama showed how Taecyeon’s character, Kim Dong Hee, cared for his family. Although in the public he maintained his manly composure, a scene in the March 1 episode depicted Dong Hee as the best son, brother, and father. When he returned home to find his mother praying, the son pleasantly surprised his mother, Jang So Shim, with a loving back hug. The action alone could label him as Korea’s best son, as Dong Hee openly displayed his love to his mother. However, his love wasn’t reserved only for his mother, as he showed care for his entire family.

 

Upon entering the room shared by his daughter and older sister, Dong Hee helped move his sleeping daughter (although she knows him as her older brother) in to a more comfortable position. Afterwards, he gently touched his older sister’s head as she slept, showing his undying love for the ladies of his family. Unlike his manly pose in public, Dong Hee’s 180 degrees transformation at home makes him a wonderful son, brother, and father.

“Wonderful Days” broadcasts every Saturdays and Sundays at 7:55 PM (KST).
