* This movie "REAL", this English title, can you sum up this movie? 
"REAL" tells the movie of the casino. As the protagonist, Kim Soo Hyun has just opened a casino, but at the same time, there is also a figure. We mean "violent organization group" - Cho Wang Gun [played by Sung Dong Il] , Kim Soo Hyun's casino. 

* What is the style of the movie? 
This is a black movie, so there are many movements, all about drugs, sex... everything is black

 

* How did the artist and his painting work with the film crew? What was interesting about this cooperation? 
In fact, the first proposal was Im Sang-soo, the former art director from the film. He is the only Korean film producer who has worked with real artists. After that, the director of "REAL" wanted to use oil painting to make a very special stage in each scene, making it a still image, a painting. For movies, color is very important. The red scene shows tension and announces the heat of future development. Some of the scenes in the movie use blue to explain cold, struggle, etc. At every moment in the movie, I will show my paintings. 

 

*Do you specifically paint for movies? 
I specially created ten works for this movie and used about 20 other paintings. I started painting with large-sized works. Afterwards, the production team continued the layout of the room. 

* Is the concept of drawing from the director? 
In fact, the director gave me a deep scene, so we discussed that he gave me some keywords, for example, red = tension, blue = cold. Later I studied this scene and realized the importance of these paintings. In fact, the most important thing in the movie is the mask, reality or illusion. My paintings express the beauty of women, but I still ask a lot of questions to determine whether it is true or false, true or false.
